  • KLCseedtotree Feb 6 @ 10:07 PM EST
A4 Ss use at a table in front of me; if I chose the app it is to support the need of that Ss based on data; that’s what I like about ABCMouse; I can level, group and assign based on ind. Ss need. Plus It charts/data graphs the progress #ecechat

Most questions don’t apply to me, but I’m learning so much about apps my Ts can use in the classroom! Thanks y’all! #ECEchat

I have heard a lot of teachers saying they use app in small groups... I would say Sock puppets and Toontastic are good ones to use for a while, teacher led… gradual release model. #ECEChat

A4: we are 1:1 iPads I teach apps in whole/small group depending, post visual directions, have iPad app gurus, a lot of apps have embedded differentiation, such as @Seesaw #SeesawChat Seesaw Activities make differentiation easy #ECEchat

A2: Our kids also use Explain Everything to share reading, math and science learning with their parents and we push it out on Seesaw. #ECEchat

  • KC_SEASportsFan Feb 6 @ 10:14 PM EST
I would be open to that! Although there will probably be a small number of folks who do not have access to that -- which I would find ways to work around. Probably not likely since I'll probably teach in a urban area... But in small towns where I live I could see that. #ECEChat

  • KC_SEASportsFan Feb 6 @ 10:20 PM EST

Following my last question about lack of tech availability to parents - what if they have never used it before and have trouble accessing the info because they don't speak English - could hold a workshop perhaps? #ECEchat
  • AmyLearn Feb 6 @ 10:21 PM EST
A5 Seesaw is versatile in having your child showcase their work and learning in a digital portfolio. It has opportunity to send notes, communication and reminders. I have also tried classtag. #ECEchat
