A2. As a principal years ago, I collaborated with three other principals to develop a year long PD menu based on teacher needs, led by teachers for peer to peer learning, giving teachers voice and choice. I still believe it was one of the best ideas! DM me for details #LeadLAP
A1: Go out and find PD opportunities that speak to my needs. Then push for those opportunities. District-mandated PD that all teachers must attend speaks to an idea that we are all the same, at the same level as educators. We arenât. #leadLAP
A2: I lead a 9 week online #personalizedPD course called PD4me where I teach Ts how to use Pinterest, Twitter and Voxer to discover relative learning for themselves. It's been SO much fun to learn from them as well! #LeadLAP#4OCF#hcpspd4me

A2: We did a EdCamp style PD with the HS/MS staff using 3 virtual presenters from my Twitter #PLN. It was awesome! @MathDenisNJ was our virtual keynote, then staff choose from 4 presentations to attend. Trained them on using their feet to vote. Loved it! #LeadLAP#4OCF
A1: I love Poolside PD! Anywhere there are learners, learning can happen. Together we are better; Iâve grown so much alongside these counseling colleagues. #leadlap

Staff were in groups and each pulled a quote about winning from a hat, discussed it in the classroom, and wrote down a win they have had. We will now do it weekly w/ Google Forms and email. We discussed how the quote discussion strategy works in the content classroom. #leadlap
A2:Best personal ROGUE PD has been w/cross-curricular collaboration. Co-teaching (I'm schl psy w/our music T) I've learned about others' jobs in my schl, improved my teaching methods for SEL, built relatnshps w/Ss&Ts) while modeling cooperative/collaborative work for Ss. #LEADLAP
A2: our PD is personalized based on where the need is. Data is the key. Before our PD begins we give each teacher folders with school and their data and then PD is planned and targeted based on the data. As we say, the data doesnât lie. #LeadLAP

A2: We did a summer book study - #kidsdeserveit in conjuction with a #SummerSelfieChallenge last year and loved it. This summer we decided to give teachers choice by providing them w/a Summer Reading Menu. We will share using a Twitter challenge during the summer months. #leadlap

3. What do you think is the best way for you to learn about this?
4. What support do you think you need?

Thanks to #ROGUEWeek I pitched this to my principal on Monday! He loved the idea! I am putting together some issues of our "toliet paper" now! #4OCF#LeadLAP
A2. Gave Lead Like A Pirate to my admin partner for Christmas last year. Using it as an informal book study together was a game changer for the both of us #leadlap

A3: Believe it or not, itâs @PrincipalFrench that I started noticing how he used twitter to learn and grow and showcase his school. I just started using twitter as a learning tool and making colleagues and friends along the way. Hoping to have more friends by next year. #leadlap
I think sometimes the quotes from my favorite books help me push conversations and practice as well inspire me (and help me decide if the book is for me). Thatâs what great to me about personalizing PD...itâs ok if we want/need different things. #LEADLAP

A4: We can do better! As a district leader who supports school leaders, this is an on-going conversation! "School-sponsored PD" should be meaningful & relevant to the learners! #LeadLAP
A4 Often PD that's being offered is not what I want to learn about so I read, do webinars or watch YouTube tutorials to learn what I want to learn. Practice it at home until I've got it đ #LeadLAP
A4: Encouraging Ts to share their Professional Growth Goals and collaborate. Our Science Dept goal prepare Ss to develop and showcase their work. Prepare Ss to present. It is happening this Wed! I'm so excited for the Ts and Ss! They have worked together on it all year! #LeadLAP
A4 Become the resource for your school. It will pay off or you'll find a better experience elsewhere. Read progressive books, seek out your own PD, invent your own, take tours, do anything to push back against what you know isn't best for kids (or teachers!) #LeadLAP#GoROGUE
A3: I do want to give #4OCF and @RACzyz a lot of credit his book gave me the push I needed to start the journey and it has taken me to #g2great and @DrMaryHoward and from there the stars haha :) #LeadLAP
A4 we have to take learning into our own hands and seek it out, share our interests and passions with admin and staff to start the conversation to make a change, go to Edcamp a, develop a PLN, blogs, podcasts #Leadlap
Whose responsibility is PD? Us or the district? If the rebellion is going to succeed, we need to engage with one another to undo the empire #rebelshavehope#rogueweek#LeadLAP
A4 When you canât find it, create it. So many great relationships built with Twitter and conferences. I have started Voxer study groups, GHOs, I have done virtual collaborations. Let nothing stand in the way of what you need to be better. #LeadLAP#4OCF#ROGUEweek

A5 Let đđżteachers đđ˝ designđđžtheir đđżown đđžlearning! đđż If there is one takeaway I can give you all is that watching the U.S. PD model of top-down control, it is to *stop controlling teachersâ PD*. Get messy. Empower teachers be agents of their own change! #LeadLAP
A4: When teachers go to PD outside district...thereâs an expectation that they pay it forward by coming back and present at a scheduled time so we can all learn! This has been more powerful than any sit and gets! #LeadLAP
A4. Relying on our school leadership for guidance as there is a rep from every grade level including support staff. Also using our data to inform for potential PD #LeadLAP
A4: School-sponsored PD is fine as long as it responsive to what people want and need. Being school-sponsored and relevant do not need to be mutually exclusive. We have to own how we deliver/lead any message. #LeadLAP
Q4: I am starting this slowly but surely at my school! I tried to start a book study but no one joined, so I shared podcasts and other #ROGUEWeek ideas which I principal and assistant principal loved. One step at a time! #LeadLAP
A4: This is often the case if you're not a classroom teacher, as I'm not. I'm lucky that our P differentiates our PDs. Our dept gets together sometimes & designs our own PD proposal, our district also provides some T-driven PD opportunities for us, which has been great. #LeadLAP
Agree ... but PD canât be just about quotes ... are they automated tweets or is the person actually there. Seeing many âeduheroesâ who are just tweeting and not interacting ... promoters #leadlap
A4: I love the ideas in #4OCF for #personalizedPD - let's create a PD experience, not just sit and get! So many people have such great ideas to share! #CoffeeEDU inspired the Tiny Tech Cafe in our Innovation Lab - so much learning when we strengthen relationships! #LeadLAP
A4. As a leader, I need to listen and find out what my teachers are hungry for, and find ways to help them seek out those opportunities. They can self-drive their PD if they have the tools and passion to do it! #LeadLAP#4OCF
A4. I see a couple of ways to approach this. Encourage honesty in the feedback you collect about PD. Build capacity about the important need for life long learning! We tend to assume educators understandthis WHY...but they need reminding that learning is continuous. #LeadLAP
A4: Personalize it and have âcourageousâ conversations with teachers. Donât use a one size fits all approach. PD should be based on needs based on data. #leadlap
A4: Help teachers find PD outside of the building that meets personal goals. Sometimes the "down time" of school sponsored conferences is when the best learning happens! #LeadLAP
I think a key component is respect for input from the outside. If decisions are made primarily by seniority & majority, then outside info is often discredited. #LeadLAP
The problem with school sponsored PD, is that they are very anti-rogue. Conformity, politeness, are all geared towards getting in line (most of the time) #leadLAP
A4: IMAGINE more! Talk w/ business leaders & movers & shaker as much as educators these days. Iâve found more PD opps for me here than staying so focused is the constant world of teaching! Leadership doesnât know a titk d focus #LeadLAP
A4 We make PD better by working with our team to identify our professional learning needs, choosing quality resources to help our learning processes, engaging in rigorous dialogue on resource content, & crafting an implementation plan to apply lessons learned #LeadLAP
A4 When whole school/district, use the time to connect, be a positive voice, share ideas. Then work with admin to push the boundaries and opportunities, mix it up! #LeadLAP#ROGUEWeek
A4: We also need to validate PD learned outside of our classroom walls. I love learning what @pammoran showcases in her district and how @bmilla84 engages her firsties in global collaboration. Let's embrace the power of a PLN! #LeadLAP#4OCF
Also; K-12 educators could learn a lot from #highered educators! Check out #SAChat on Thursdays to see what your student affairs colleagues are discussing! #LeadLAP
I think top-down control often happens bc Ts don't have time to keep up with ed research & news. Someone needs to know what's coming so we can be proactive with change. I believe we have the power but often don't have time. #leadLAP
Q3 Who are your ROGUEish Friends? Who are the educators that challenge your thinking and make you a better educator? Shout them out NOW. #4OCF#LeadLAP#ROGUEWeek
A4: if staff come together for PD, building meaningful relationships -do meaningful/ relevant team building. Relationships are the seeds for powerful social capital. Then give careful space so collaboration can organically grow. Build culture of wellness. đżđ¸âŽď¸âżď¸đđ#LeadLAP
I suppose it is a question of how we define "school sponsored". I think of the school as all of us. School sponsored PD isn't designed by just one person... It is in response to what people say they need. #LeadLAP
A4: School-sponsored PD can be great. However, if we rely solely on internal PD opportunities we never grow beyond our own walls. Our learning becomes a closed loop. We must find PD outside our school and district if we truly wish to grow. #leadLAP#edchat#growthmindset
A5 First step: have students in meetings. Value their input (and not just your "best students!") It's their school too, and they'll be more honest than many teachers. If everyone is against them, what does this say about what's being taught? #LeadLAP#4OCF#ROGUEWeek
YES! Amen to that! Flexibility is key to a positive learning experience - when you provide choice and voice for Ts, it's a win-win for everyone! #LeadLAP#4OCF
But in the end, it has a stake in keeping the system in power and comfortable. Rogues are looking to shake it up; sometimes those goals are exclusive to one another #leadLAP
Q5!i think we need to find out how our students want to learn and what works best for them. Create dialogue, feedback and surveys with students to direct PD this along with Ts input and interests can be a great way to develop a PD plan #Leadlap
Q5:when kids share the process and the products produced after Ts have exposed them to their new learning, it builds such momentum. I have done room tours where kids do just that. So fun #LeadLAP
A5 Their voice and story need to be part of every PD. We keep learning to be better for kids. Have students collaborate and be part of the PD learning. They are amazing teachers. Focus on building that collaborative partnership! Innovate. Student-led PD. #LeadLAP#4OCF
A5: One way is to model cooperative/collaborative learning. I've done this w/cross-disciplinary/cross curricular collab! I'm a schl psy who did SEL series w/our music T. It was amazing work, we learned & Ss did too! They loved it! A real win-win! #LeadLAP
A5: S's are our customers. What do our customers want from us as educators? Maybe our Ss have some ideas that they want to present to the Ts or Admins. Let them have a voice! #ROGUEWeek#LeadLAP
A4: Allow Ts to choose what PD they want and how they want it. Is there a colleague they want to learn from, is there an expert among themselves, do they want an outside perspective? Allow Ts ownership of their learning too! #GoROGUE#4OCF#LeadLAP#ROGUEWeek
A5: When I pitched Appy Hour to my P, @JustinCopley2 , he suggested we do it on an evening for Ss too. They can come with parents and ALL learn! #LeadLAP#40CF
@RACzyz "Q4 Sometimes, School-Sponsored PD wonât cut it. How can we #GoROGUE and make PD experiences better? #4OCF#LeadLAP#ROGUEWeek" my best PD comes from going beyond my school building and by providing PD for my Ss. I teach beyond content #wholechild
A4: Encouraging and providing time for teachers to grow is critical. In addition to meaningful and teacher-driven PD in the building, support for learning walks, supporting teacher attendance at workshops & conferences, supporting collaborative time, etc... is important. #leadlap
A5 It's so important for Ss to see us learning. It creates a true culture of learning. We're doing a Tech PD w/ our Ts called Level Up. Our Ss love to see our Ts get recognized for this. Thursday, we surprised a T w/ an award & the class next door clapped. It's awesome! #leadlap
The fact that Ts donât have time to do ed research is a big problem. The system *must* change to give Tâs space to be reflective practitioners & bridge the research-practice divide themselves. Work intensification is literally poison for our sector. Need policy change #LeadLAP
I think top-down control often happens bc Ts don't have time to keep up with ed research & news. Someone needs to know what's coming so we can be proactive with change. I believe we have the power but often don't have time. #leadLAP
A5 we can allow them to present. My daughter showed a T and her class how to use stop motion. It was awesome.
Ask them what is missing from instruction to guide PD.
Let them know what you learned to help hold you accountable for using it #leadlap
A5: Build a culture where everyone has a voice. Ss need to know they are listened to and their needs drive everything. Build those relationships, ask Ss, use their ideas. #LeadLAP#4OCF
A5: I've had Ss come w/Ts for planning time PD then co-teach the tool/topic to their class; I also meet with Ss 1:1 when they want to learn something new. Right now I'm working w/ a Gr5 Ss learning app smashing w/ChatterPix and MovieMaker #LeadLAP#4OCF#personalizedPD
Often times when we ask students for input, itâs the white students whose voices speak loudest. We need to listen to the still small quiet voices who donât feel empowered to speak! #LeadLAP
A5: We are starting out a new method of having Ss recognize AVID strategies in the classroom. Ts get a sticker from the S that eventually will build Avi. We are starting by having Admin give the sticker. Ss identify the strategies, though. Ss also present at T meetings. #leadlap
A5: What if we asked students what they need from their teachers? Then we could find PD that provides those skills, strategies, and techniques that students need to improve their learning and overall school experience? #leadLAP#edchat#KidsDeserveIt#continualgrowth
A4. Also to improve PD we can align it to adult learning theory-always, make it relevant, meaningful, and capitalize on peer to peer learning which Hattie says is one of the most effective methods! This applies to adults too! #LeadLAP
A4 Any PD that has its agenda and leaders driven from the bottom up is rogue and produces positive results! You bypass the buy-in stage and speed to implementation! #leadlap
A5. Have them be part of it by presenting. We recently took some gr. 2 & gr. 5 Ss to a divisional board meeting to present to the trustees and Sr. admin about @Spheros#LeadLAP
A4: Prioritizing what matters in our organization & collaborating across organizations to make the best use of our resources. Twitter, MOOCs, & other online PD that can be self-selected is also HUGE! Let professional tells us what they need to improve their craft! #4OCF#LeadLAP
They can also be super erasing. Once had a panel in a school that was 70% non-white. Panel consisted of student leaders, which were 100% white. Super problematic. #leadLAP
A5: This ? Has now sparked the idea for us to send a student feedback form on what Pd is needed for staff. Our staff fill one out..now interested in what our Ss will look like! #leadlap
YES! I love this! Ss need to have a voice in the process of HOW they would prefer instruction to be taught and things they WANT to learn. If Ss are the recipients of instruction, shouldn't their opinions have merit as well? #LeadLAP#4OCF
The system *must* start to care about teachersâ holistic & emotional safety. Empower Tâs with care, trust, support & playfulness to be reflective practitioners & bridge the research-practice divide. We cannot expect teachers to do more while under so much pressure. đ #LeadLAP
Love that! I agree - we need to show our Ss that we are constantly learning, too! Builds community when they see we are all in this together! #LeadLAP#4OCF
A5b: Ask Ss, give them choices and voice in their learning. Get to know as much as you can about them personally, so you can understand them AND their needs in a more meaningful way. #leadlap
A5: This ? Has now sparked the idea for us to send a student feedback form on what Pd is needed for staff. Our staff fill one out..now interested in what our Ss will look like! #leadlap
A6 PD should work exactly like a student-classroom. If we know what's best for Ss, why don't we do the same for Ts? Learning shouldn't be the same for everyone, and neither should PD. Let Ts seek out PD, share out, and grow everyone's practice! #ROGUEWeek#LeadLAP#4OCF
A6 we just need to ask allow our PD schedules flexibility we use an Edcamp style in our building at times and allow teachers the choice, ask staff to share what they are doing and present and moderate. It must be a partnership #Leadlap
A6: When I see the Ts on my roster for PD, I like to send the a Google Forms survey to get to know them better and learn more about why they are taking this PD, how they like to learn, background knowledge, etc. This helps me personalize the PD when they arrive! #LeadLAP#4OCF
A6: I join a district learning team and invite my staff every year. We Learn together and with other school teams. There is also a lot of online pro-d available #LeadLAP
A6: Our last PD day was completely run by staff. They filled out a form on needs and then we had our own sessions that they each presented on those topics. Powerful! #leadlap
Indeed. But you canât really say that publicly, can you? âThose were the only students who were willing!â How dare you accuse the district of something! #leadLAP
A6: We have Ts talk about needs for PD in May for the following year. The AVID team also plans on next steps for any new full staff strategy implementation goals in August. #LeadLAP
A6: Survey staff to see what they need, provide EdCamps, provide resources for passion projects, give PD hours for independent professional learning #LEADlap
A6 Include that voice and choice in PD planning. Have teacher-led sessions. Include some Open Forums (ed camp style PD). Look at opportunities. #MADPD in May is a free virtual learning opportunity. Seek innovation. #LeadLAP#4OCF#ROGUEWeek
Sadly, I don't think the sys is moving that direction. Adjunct profs are an increasing %. Their pay can be equiv to minimum wage when invested hrs are considered. They often teach for joy of the work. Great for tuition, not so great for Ts w/o other sources of income. #leadlap
A5 We don't find out too often what students are thinking or desire. My What Students Want page https://t.co/nUQy17bbOd Have students lead PD session on their wants. #leadlap
A6: give space for teachers to share about the pressures they are facing. What is on their plate (literally get them to write on paper plates!) - & use the answers as data to inform interventions for support. Acknowledge what damages our wellness. Show genuine care. #LeadLAP
A6: Edcamps, #CoffeeEDU, Book Menus, Teacher led Twitter chats... One of our teachers hosted a #TacoEDU this year and it was a huge hit! @PryorMiranda#leadlap
I have to leave early because I have 120,000,001 things on my to do list for today. Thanks for a great chat yâall! Please check out my new book! https://t.co/BodQc4FTqt#LeadLAP
A6: In addition to Edcamps & other choice-driven PD opportunities, we need to ask and LISTEN to what learners what, we need to include multiple perspectives in the planning, & seek feedback afterwards. #LeadLAP
A6: When I see the Ts on my roster for PD, I like to send the a Google Forms survey to get to know them better and learn more about why they are taking this PD, how they like to learn, background knowledge, etc. This helps me personalize the PD when they arrive! #LeadLAP#4OCF
A6: we have to allow Ts to lead the PD more and constantly solicit what they need/want and then provide it. We canât keep forcing irrelevant PD on them #leadlap
A5: Love this question! This comes back to #StudentAgency, #Student Voice, and CHOICE! I think #TeacherAgency is also key to improved PD. We need to connect students and staff who have similar sparks and interests! Let students and teachers be LEARNERS together! #LeadLAP#4OCF
A5: I learned some time back that you have to involve and listen to your students. Here we have our student body officers meeting with me and discussing some student issues. We tailor part of our PD based on their needs. #leadlap
A6: Edcamps, #CoffeeEDU, Book Menus, Teacher led Twitter chats... One of our teachers hosted a #TacoEDU this year and it was a huge hit! @PryorMiranda#leadlap
In a healthy culture, you can ask, "Why do you think that is? How are we engaging our students of color? How are we providing ALL students with leadership opportunities?" #LeadLAP
A6: Let building leadership teams plan PDs! Look at PD plans that are turned in to see where Ts want/need growth too! It shouldn't be just an admin job. Share the LOAD and go ROGUE! #LeadLAP#40CF
A6: We can give educators more voice and choice through interest surveys before a training or before choosing topics for them! What do they want to learn about not just pushing more programs! Work from the bottom up as @SeanOwenPhD said earlier #LeadLAP
Q6: Edcamp style PD. We provide what we call buy back time. Ts can get paid up to 7 hours for choice based PD, which can include organizing collaboration sessions with their peers, conferences etc. #LeadLAP
A6: Often we're asked what we'd like for PD in the end-of-yr survey. But why wait until then? We can take it upon ourselves to share ideas or ask for what we'd like to see in PD with administration. Never hurts to ask or make suggestions. #LeadLAP
A6 Build strong enough relationships where voice and choice can be organice. But also couple w/ periodic informal and formal polls to build new ideas for PD. #leadlap
A5: We are starting out a new method of having Ss recognize AVID strategies in the classroom. Ts get a sticker from the S that eventually will build Avi. We are starting by having Admin give the sticker. Ss identify the strategies, though. Ss also present at T meetings. #leadlap
A6: Our district has also organized two PD days where Ts were the presenters, and other Ts got to choose which sessions they wanted to attend! #LeadLAP
A6: Recently my VP @mmeplayer sent out a pretty great/comprehensive Google form to inquire about staff membersâ PD needs. The questionnaire was well designed & allowed leadership to identify trends while not overlooking individualsâ particular needs/requests. #leadLAP
A6 Within our building teacher surveys on PD would be a way of finding out what staff would like to learn about. Offering mini EdCamp sessions would be great too, then T's could sign up for sessions they are interested in #LeadLAP
Yes, and in a toxic culture you can ask those same questions; though not all are free to answer honestly. How do you know which culture you are in? Asking the question doesnât mean Ts or Ss can answer honestly without consequence #leadLAP
And we don't need to go with majority/seniority voice. We can run with ideas that support critical needs that are coming, yet not well known to the masses. #leadLAP
A6: At the end of our PD, we ask if what we provided was meaningful & purposeful. Then, we ask what are our next steps to further our learning & where do they want to see the PD go in the future. We make future decisions based upon this feedback.#GoROGUE#4OCF#LeadLAP#ROGUEWeek
A6b: One of best district-provided PD's I ever had was one where we collab'd w/4-5 towns, offering workshops at several sites. We got to sign up for workshops we wanted. Was so great. There was something for every discipline offered & loved networking w/other districts! #leadlap
A5: What if we asked students what they need from their teachers? Then we could find PD that provides those skills, strategies, and techniques that students need to improve their learning and overall school experience? #leadLAP#edchat#KidsDeserveIt#continualgrowth
Was it anonymous? Because people may be scared to give honest feedback if they believe it could be tracked back to them and their job or advancement could be put in jeopardy #LeadLAP
A6: Itâs as simple as asking each educator to identify an area for improvement & finding PD that addresses that need. Allow teachers to attend whatever supports individual needs. It requires district/school admin supporting this type of PD. #OneSizeDoesNotFitAll#leadLAP#edchat
â¨A6: THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX! When it comes to teacher PD, do what you do with students...make it fun, engaging, passion driven, unconventional, and full of choice!⨠#4OCF#LeadLAP
A6 ask what people want to learn. They may not know terms.... ask what struggles they want to make better. Ask what do you want your students to be able to do. Let responses guide pd. #leadlap
A6: Important to offer ways to engage all members of staff (introverts often get bowled over). Google form questionnaires allow leadership to offer support that is more calm & intimate for our introverts. Diverse staff support diverse students: crucial & symbiotic! âŻď¸#leadLAP
That is why I believe everyone, at every level, can benefit from coaching! With a good coach asking reflective questions, people can become more aware! #LeadLAP
A7: I love the idea of having Ss part of the interview process and more active in learning/leading PD. I also want to continue the support process for Ts AFTER the PD is done! #LeadLAP#4OCF
A6: YES! We need to involve our staff with needs surveys, input, opportunities to reflect and self-evaluate! Choice and voice are crucial elements for successful PD! I would love to use our Teacher Advisory Council as a way to gather input for PD in our district! #LeadLAP#4OCF
A7: My biggest idea is really many... I know that I have a #PLN to reach out to that understands the PIRATE way and is willing to do it differently and better #LeadLAP#4OCF#RogueWeek
A7 Do not wait for your school or district to create learning opportunities. Find your own, or create it with staff and students. Be innovative and creative. Never let anything stand in your way. Lean on your PLN for support, encouragement. #LeadLAP#4OCF#ROGUEWeek
A7: Goal will be to include more Ps + Ss learning opps during the school year. Plan and schedule in advance so we can role them out. Also will keep wondering how to move the mountains when they won't find ways to grow on their own. #LeadLAP#40CF
A7 I think Paul @shirky17 and I came up with a cool @FETC proposal ... ideas sparking from a chat is good stuff ... now how to get him from Ohio to Florida #LeadLAP
A7: I want to invite and involve students more in our PD process, whether it be in the planning or the actual presentation of it. #GoROGUE#4OCF#LeadLAP#ROGUEWeek
A7. I love the idea of involving students more in the learning process for teachers! I need to give some thought to what that might look like. #4OCF#LeadLAP
A7: As with school and students, we need to adapt to meet the needs of each person we work with. One size never fits all because everyone is in a different place. We all just need to be better #LeadLAP
A7: I will look for more ways to include Ss in my own PD process. I also love the idea of Genius Hour PD, and will explore this further! Thank you everyone for your amazing ideas and inspiration! #leadlap
A7: I love all of the ideas on how to involve Ss in PD. We are creating an EOY survey for our Ss (idea that came from last #TMGeniusChat@Mrs_SFritz) and am pumped to get an overall picture of S feedback in our school. #LeadLAP#4OCF
I'm definitely sharing your flip grid with my colleagues and Mentees. Remembering to execute! Now is the time, not tomorrow but today. #InstantGrit#GoROGUE#ROGUEWeek#LeadLAP
The problem is readiness. Sanfordâs challenge/support model is predicated on someone being ready. The problem is we have admins who arenât ready or willing to engage; and they have power. #leaDLAP#goingROGUE

A7- Provide more opportunities for choice and continue to seek out more rogue edu PD from other awesome educators and through awesome books such as #40CF and #LeadLAP
Thank you for joining #LeadLAP this morning! Hopefully you can go back to your school, find your ROGUEish Friends and Revolutionize PD! #4OCF#ROGUEWeek
A7 I really like the ideas of PD outside bldg/town walls, PD Tub PD, and PottyPD! But the energy behind all of the PD is awesome, and I am sure effective! #leadlap
A7: Thinking of running our next book study as a Twitter chat...Love the opportunities to follow some great new leaders and share more amazing ideas on this PLN! Hoping to find ways to incorporate more options for voice and choice! #LeadLAP#4OCF
A special thanks to @RACzyz for going ROGUE with PD in #LeadLAP this morning! Always looking for great ways to empower Ts and Ss to embrace the learning continuum! #LeadLAP#4OCF
Tx, that helps me understand...a little. I'm sure she has no idea how that makes some people feel. Do you think she might be open to someone mentioning that? #leadLAP

A7. During the week post items relevant to a hashtag you follow and extend the learning of all. Being a lead learner - remember sharing is caring! #LeadLAP
Super fun! We are an @AVID4College school and have WICOR magnets that we attach to agendas and thought of having students fill in some kind of bingo board of sorts to recognize teachers in the building and to identify when the strategies at being used! #leadlap#4ocf@welleagles

A7: Great chat. Enjoyed it with my cup of coffee. One thing Iâm taking this morning is to make PD more relevant to teachers and personalize it based on needs and data. #leadlap
Thanks for going ROGUE with the #LeadLAP crew this morning, @RACzyz ! Have a fab weekend, everyone, and go ROGUE with your PD! Join #40CF and #ROGUEWeek
While we're discussing ROGUE, does anyone know how to get added to the #4OCF Voxer group? I've heard it's amazing and would love to join! :) #leadlap#4OCF
I can think of many things in the past we don't want to nod to. I suspect there is a lack of cultural awareness in that particular realm. Need to give benefit of the doubt. #leadlap

âNegativeâ phrases are in the eye of the beholder. I prefer to speak truth, and not euphamize to make people feel good. If something causes cognitive dissonance, we have choices- changing language to make people feel comfortable is a way power keeps from changing. IMO #leadLap
