How do we prevent students from being skewed by the media and to be objective in their use of the media?
By individually getting to know each student and making connections with their culture and backgrounds.

When Ss work w/ others to solve probs in the world, not just communicate, they see the world differently. They see other's value.

Being able to bring those experiences into the classroom is so rewarding!
Teaching Ss to identify/overcome bias is so important in their world. We need to focus on this in schools more.
