    A1: I try to say something personal to every student as they enter my room & as they leave. I also try to always say hi when I see them in the hall or elsewhere in the school. I give fist bumps, hand shakes, and high fives often. #tlap

    #tlap a1 Need to be loyal, starts before they are your students, say hi to Kindergartners, ask 1st graders how their weekend was, by the time they get to 5th grade, they know you!

    A1: Greet them with enthusiasm, smile, laugh with them. I try to connect with my students by learning about what they like, disklike, and sometimes if they are lucky, I break out a British accent. #tlap

    A1 - Give the attention needed! When I don't pay attention to my dog, he gets restless - just like my students! Students crave attention, and we need to give it to them positively. Asking them about their weekend, complimenting them or even just giving a smile. #tlap

    A2b: Our state does A+ tutoring where juniors and seniors are paired with elem and ms Ss for tutoring. They earn free credit hours at some state universities, & some are all tuition paid if A+ requirements are met. #tlap

    #tlap A6 In my room I sit my Ss according to their State Test score from the previous year. I put my top 10 scores in separate groups and then pair up my bottom 10 with them. The rest of the Ss are scattered into the remaining groups. Ss TEACH each other in my room.

    The diagnosis is persistent pupillary membrane, which means fibers left over from the iris forming that are still hanging out in the eye as pupil (strange lines in photo) caused the inflammation which led to the cornea clouding, now clearing. So interesting! #tlap

    A5: We ended our Character unit with #PirateExploration! The Third Grade Pirate Ship dressed as a fictional or real pirate with a character analysis! They had to be that pirate that day! Find those moments! #tlap

    #tlap #conversechat I did a clinical in an arts integration CR and the T constantly did brain breaks. Every 15 min or so, she would have kids do yoga or dance. They loved it!
