A1 we gathered data about where everyone was from and what holidays they celebrated. We had 11 countries and 9 languages in one classroom. We talked to parents about this and what we learned from each other. Tears were shed. It was beautiful. #TXED
A1: Made a website for students to see all of the podcast videos theyâd made throughout the year to help them review themselves :) this was like 8 years ago when website building wasnât as friendly. I learned a lot! They did too! :) #txed
We try and do that each and everyday. Shared with my staff today that we had a child show up to school sick because he just wanted to be at school so much. I also love all the walks to kids' homes, just to show them I care. #txed
A1 Am always looking for opportunities to bring cooking and food into a lesson! Homemade biscuits, Homemade butter, applesauce, chili from scratch...#txed
A1: Hot cocoa & apple cider w YouTube fireplace & Xmas music while Ss write thank you letters to their parents on holiday stationary #gratitude#kindness#TXED
A1: This spring our 4th gr Ts created this Camp Write Along experience; we ALL feel in love with being campers again and couldn't wait to write about it. https://t.co/yvgRugjsik#txed
I love how Morgan has made so many follower/friends and how she's following some great educators in such a short time. The power of growing your PLN. #txed. Don't judge me by how many followersi have. Judge me by who I follow and learn from.
A1-culture field trip around the campus. Our grade level did China. Ss researched and decorated our hallway like Chinatown and we even had food to taste. #TXED
A1 My Adv Computer Apps class had the fundamentals class make a list of favorite books. My students created and narrated electronic books and gave them back to the class. #txed
A1: Funtastic Fridays with @slacoke as a #PBIS Reward were always fun! Silly string wars were a hit. Not academic, but definitely relationship building! #txed
Today actually. Weâve been learning about heat in Pre-K. I brought pop corn kernels and an air popper to class. They all got a kernel and described it. Then I let them watch the kernels as they warmed up, got darker and eventually popped. They LOVED it. #txed
#TXED A1: We had Grinch Day on a campus last year and I read How the Grinch Stole Christmas to each class, English AND Spanish and let the teachers have a 20 minute break. I LOVED seeing all the students and reading in both languages. #TheGrinch
A1 In science, it happens frequently. My room is sometimes messy, usually real-world and hands-on.(sorry to the custodian for the sand all over the floor today) #txed
A2: Looove the graphic! I looove the academic vocab and beibg able to see the alignment with upper grades! Of course, I expose my littles with higher vocab to build their schemađđĄ#TXED
Q2 I love seeing the students make connections and have their âah haâ moments, they are so passionate about their growth and their faces just light up when they finally accomplish a goal #txed
A2: I get excited thinking about student reactions and achievement during lessons. I know my kinders are capable of sooo much if they have the support and encouragement of their teachers! #txed
A2: Students having an ah-ha moment always does it. At this point in my career, I get so excited about educators who stop at nothing to ensure every child has one, or better....many! #txed
A2: I just love connecting with kids and helping them navigate their social surroundings, discover stuff about themselves, understand about their feelings, pick friends that fit, know that they matter, and find joy in their journeys. #txed
A1: Hot cocoa & apple cider w YouTube fireplace & Xmas music while Ss write thank you letters to their parents on holiday stationary #gratitude#kindness#TXED
A2: I love how education changes, so thereâs always an opportunity To learn new things. I love using something Iâve learned from a team mate, or a PD, and watching it work in real life! #txed
A2: I MELT when I see Ss engaged in literacy activities- writing with a purpose, collaborating together to tackle tricky work, and small group instruction where the Ts are building that relationship & supporting Ss! #TXED
It's a personal challenge to be better at something you'll never completely master. So many variables, you can't possibly address them all. It's like searching for a unicorn each and every day. Then there's of course the "making a difference in the lives of children." #TXEd
A1 I spent a day at TES last week. Every room I went into had a fireplace video looping on their smartboard. It was calming and so warm! @WallerISD#TXED
A3 when you stop believing you stop hearing the bell... or start getting socks and underwear đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł you complete the analogy as you see fit #TXED
A3 because if you donât believe in what youâre doing you arenât going to change anything, through goal setting, hard work and dedication change will happen. #txed
A3: many times we are the only ones that our students have to believe in them. We need to be there for them and show them that they can achieve much more than they give themselves credit for. #txed
A3: Because we can and do. Sometimes we forget or get lost in paperwork, deadlines, or plans, but our Sts are the future and we are the game changers that make or can break a S. #TXED
A2: I have a passion for the underdog, for the kid that no one believes in, the kid that has given up on themselves... I get excited about them! I get excited about them maybe wanting to show up in my class ;) #TXED
A3 If educators donât believe they can make a difference, our work each and every day isnât valued. Own it and watch the differences before your eyes. #TXed
Because if we don't, who will? Someone made a difference in our lives. The least we can do is pay it forward. Society wouldn't survive if we didn't do what we do. #TXEd
A3: Our model, our example is so important. When we stop believing, we risk that our Ss lose hope because they'll stop believing, too. Hope is an AmAzInG gift; never stop believing. #txed
A3 We make a "difference" every day! We just need to decide how BIG of a difference we're ready to make! How invested are you? Relationships matter because kids matter! #TXed
A3: If we donât believe, why would anyone else? We are the ones every day seeing what we are up against AND what we can do. It is ESSENTIAL that educators believe their hard work and effort can and will pay off. #txed
Because if we don't, who will? Someone made a difference in our lives. The least we can do is pay it forward. Society wouldn't survive if we didn't do what we do. #TXEd
A3: I believe creating fun-filled, memorable moments for student learning and celebration is how we put kids first. We are on a mission to have kids LOVE to walk in the building. Authentic experiences are helping us build our engagement! #TXED
A3: Making a difference is the core of teaching. Even if only one student makes a connection, then you have the possibility of changing the trajectory of a whole generation in that family. And that was just one kid. If you lose sight of that itâs time to change professions. #txed

A4: When my own children went through our Pegasus (PK) program which mixes regular ed and sped kids. Saw growth in them from a compassion standpoint that has never left them. #txed
A3: I think itâs John Haitiâs research that says Teachers believing they make a difference in the classroom is the greatest factor for student success #TxEd
Easy. On a home visit and when we came back my teacher shed tears by having seen the conditions her child lived in. Gave my teacher a totally different perspective on what her child was doing and why. Empathy. #TXED
A4: my heart was changed by all the beautiful children of my first school. Those love bugs opened my eyes and my heart to issues I could have never imagined. #TXED

A4 years ago I did the âI wish my Teacher knewâ with my students... what they told me changed my life and my perspective... their responses stay with me everyday and I vowed to remember their hardships in every interaction moving forward #TXED
A4: #TXED I feel hearts changing when we have parent/community events. When we realize these students are someone's whole world and we're partners together with the same wish for their future.
A4 I witnessed a student run up to his teacher and say âthank you so much for teaching me and helping me learnâ, we both looked at each other (me and the other teacher) and started crying! #txed
A4: Iâve seen our whole school change in the last couple of weeks. I think as a staff we are much more aware of the type of environment our kids come from, and I feel that we want our kids to succeed even more. #txed
A4: That little munchkin on the left changed my heart forever. Despite a horrific childhood (you wouldnât know it but she was 8 in this picture), she persevered. #txed

A4: My heart grew 2sizes when my S no one thought could read did. My heart grows every time a S has a đĄ. I know every time a S gives a hug, we melt with confirmation for our profession. Smiles make it even better #txed#smilesandselfies
A3: Why will they believe if we don't first?
1 John 4:19
"We love because HE first loved us."
How about "they believe because WE first believed..." đ
#TXed

Q5 - last year my hardest student brought me a Motherâs Day gift and told me I was basically his mom and told me for the first time all year that he loved me.
A5: As an AP, seeing students go from struggling behaviorally to model citizens over years of hard work always seems like a miracle and a blessing #TXED
A5 I see miracles daily. Whether itâs a student correcting behavior or cooling off independently to a student stimming with excitement, miracles happen daily on our campuses. #TXed
A5: For me it was reaching a student that seemed "unreachable". He thanked me for not giving up on him. He said I was the first. Sad that it was when he was in the 4th grade. #txed
A5 This one is hard. I donât know if, as educators, we see these moments as miracles, or as Tuesdays. I can think about a lot of miracles, but none that happened in one day. They happen because of how much we believe in our kids. #txed
A5: dyslexic non-reader 6th grader that a year later read an entire pg aloud perfectly from âThe Giverâ & started to jog around the room - he said he was taking a victory lap - #BlessedToBeATeacher#TXED
God bless him for his character and values that he brings into the service of protecting our freedom. And God bless, you, military mom. Both of you hold a special place in my heart. #txed

Q5 - last year my hardest student brought me a Motherâs Day gift and told me I was basically his mom and told me for the first time all year that he loved me.
A5: With Pre-K thereâs so many. But, getting students when they are seriously a few months out of toddlerhood, and by the end of the year they are âbig kidsâ. They learn and grow so much in a year! #txed
A5: I had a 4th grade S who could not read and said he couldn't. He would just stare at books. After implementing an amazing program I spent days training for, it was all worth it. One day he read and that was the day he smiled with a book in front of him. #txed
A5: Honestly, I think everyday as a Ts is a miracle! The fact that Ts get up every day and come back to room full of children, not only teach them but also choose to love them!!! #TxEd
Q5 - itâs really hard to think of just one miracle. Miracles are in the making every time a child believes theyâre important or worthy. Every time a teacher interacts positively with a student. The miracles never stop. #txed
A5 as an Instructional Specialist ...when the kids hug you and say Iâm glad you came into my class today OR when a teacher says Thank you, I needed that! Or when a teacher trusts you to teach their class for them #TXED

A6: One is so difficult...being a mother, teacher, child of God who gets to partcipate with professionals around the globe from their phone at gome in bed bc technology is amazing!!! #BlessedAndGrateful#txed
Q6 - I love our staff. The staff at my campus makes coming to work every day fun and I feel like we not only view ourselves as a team, but as a family. Doesnât get better than that folks. #txed
A6: Having a husband who is also in education. He understands the demands and the hours. Heâs also been teaching longer than I have, and has really good advice. Thatâs just one of the ways he makes my life wonderful @aussenseitertec#txed
