A1: Successes: flexibility with my para staffing. Had 3 changes - got one of them credentialed as a result. Class - saying yes to a S's cooking project. Led to a bunch of math & school community service ideas for next yr. #tosachat

A1) For me, our #romogalaxy professional development game through @AlludoPlay was the most successful part of this year! Learned so much through production & got some great feedback. It was truly a team effort! #tosachat

A1 We moves into a new high school building and I got to help design some of the new tech! We chose to prioritize sound enhancement and voice activated lesson capture. #tosachat
A2: We had a new ELA adoption K-12. For our K-5, it's another new curriculum on the heels of math. It's hard on them. Trying to find the balance in their fear of change....all while trying to make tech less intimidating. #TOSAchat
A1: I think our 1:1 implementation was most successful this year. The way it pushed myself and our staff to learn and grow was a wonderful journey! #tosachat
A2: The hardest part this year was that I was in two different grade levels, and in 6th grade we started with NTN so my main focus was on that initiative. Hard to balance the two subjects and grades and my 7th grade got the short end :( #tosachat
A2: the most challenging is in the same vein the same as my success: serving as interim AP at the middle school!! It’s a new challenge every day, and you just can’t make up the stuff you deal with as admin at a middle school!! It has also been incredibly fun. #tosachat

A2: My success was also my challenge—moving buildings mid year presented tons of tech challenges and we’ve struggled with inconsistent tech and audio issues. I’m still super optimistic though! #tosachat

I agree. It would be a good exercise for all admin to sub in for teachers for a day— but teachers would have to serve as admin. Taking that time to walk in the others’ shoes would help to build empathy for all! #tosachat
A1: Getting the privilege of facilitating an 8 week Blended Learning Number Sense Course. After leading 3 cohorts, we have trained over 100 educators in our district! #SMBSDfamily#tosachat

Yes. Personally and professionally. As a teacher and a mom of a school age child it really shook me and continues to. It's always in the back of my mind. #tosachat

A3: Working w/entire staff I get that outside perspective I never had and can see that every T truly has something they are great at and should share w/everyone else! This lead to #SMEdCamp where Ts lead breakout sessions for final staff mtg. #TOSAChat

A3: Moved all TOSAs up to the district office building. When you are at a site, you have NO CLUE how many moving parts their are in a district. You can't have tunnel vision like that. Each person has a purpose and that needs to be communicated/transparent. #tosachat
My team and I started to blog this year as well. We set up a calendar so we rotate taking turns writing a blog every week. We all have different styles so the hope is that it attracts a variety of teachers. #tosachat

Tried hanging out in lounges with sign up. Did Tea with tech, that was good for conversations. PD with classroom follow up. The latter was the most successful and will be the focus next year. #tosachat

A3: I discovered resilience. The last 3 yrs in this job I’ve taken everything personally. Change is so hard and we all react differently to it.Ive had to work on empathy and resilience and I think I’ve truly found both. It helps me be more effective. #tosachat

A6: I should take it down a notch...less "things" and go more in depth! The plan for next year! It's hard not to get excited to share everything, but it overwhelms. #TOSAChat
A2: Teach, reteach, then review, and go over once more. Like our Ss, Ts need repetition to learn, and it is a challenge to get the time to put in all the repitions for mastery. #TOSAchat
