A2) Well a few pieces of paper and years in the classroom and principals office assist me in what I gain from my PLN on the twitters. From these I grow. #TnEdCHat
A2 I learned to love to read, took some of the ideas for teaching methods from law school, lots of ideas from books that I try to use and then eval benefits #tnedchat

A1: recently I attended #actfl17 and heard some powerful comments, the most impactful being #americathebilingual. I’ve been searching for a succinct ‘why’ and what I heard from them summed it up perfectly. #TNEdChat#langchat
A2: Started in CTE, blessed to work in K-12 as Instructional Tech Sp, now a CTE Consultant plus college...going from hs to K-12 was a huge shift & change was part of the process, created relevance for industry change to stay current #TNEdChat
A3 had a family that wanted to lock down a chromebook so much it wasn’t usable- I made some suggestions and we met halfway to make things work at school #TNedchat
A2b) and if you are trying to do it right, you will always be willing to change for the better. My grandpa always said complacency is the silent killer. #TNedchat
A2: My education qualified me but it didn’t prepare me. My pursuit of finding likeminded individuals and willingness to change what I do is what has kept me relevant and able to meet the needs of my kids. #TNEdChat#langchat
A3: several come to mind..I'm passive aggressive, use humor & try to spin the negative into positive...seems to work to diffuse situations but still make a point when needed #TNEdChat

A3) hmm...students not meeting projections on benchmark tests, helping my school with its accreditation and that's to name a few. Results are still pending. #TNedchat
A4 led a group of students in a design thinking research stage- they were amazingly driven because they love the project- very rewarding times as I worked the room with addl questions #TNEdChat
A4) Taught a super engaging lesson on promoting a band. The kids made posters, shot promo videos, interviewed the band members, and put it all in a nice package. They got free passes to Riverbend #TnEdChat

A4.2 group of cosmo Ss, had them shoot a video to teach the class a portion of a unit on safety standards & professionalism, Ts ran w/it, Ts is in her 60s & now it's a part of her norm #TNEdChat

A3: Not running to the rescue when there's a problem, nor if it's not up to standard. I've learned that I can't do & be everything to everyone, nor can I drag everyone along when they don't want what I want. As the eldest of 4 girls, it's hard not to run & help. #TNedchat

A5 I spend a lot of time reading, learning and making sure I am prepared, not afraid to try new things and Fail, need growth with follow through in some areas, possibly? :) #TNEdChat
A4:Not to sound vain, but ALL of my authentic cultural lessons are a hit-be it from my international guest speakers to Hispanic potluck or me sharing my pics & stories from my #PEF Fund for teacher 6week experience in Cuba, visiting family for the 1st time! #TNedchat#langchat
