I’ve really enjoyed being involved with my school’s Community Problem Solvers club. It’s so important for our students to have experience identifying real problems and collaborating to design and implement creative solutions with measurable impact. #bfc530

There are many! I used to coach football which remains one of my favorite extracurricular activities...I also love Theater & @DartmouthHS has a National Champion band to go along w/our Robotics Team...we really do have all the trimmings! #bfc530

There are so many community-based & charitable extracurricular activities... &everyone participates! I already brought the 1 activity I wanted to..a week filled with school-wide projects and events for Autism Awareness month❤️🎉they embraced it immediately! #bfc530

I would love to bring any of my interests/passions to school in a club form. I think I'd start with a podcasting club and then maybe create a quilting, sketchnoting, book, or running club. #bfc530

As a student, I loved theatre, quiz team, and yearbook. I would have loved to do debate team, volleyball, or girls soccer, but my HS didn’t have them. #bfc530

All of them! We take great pride on ALL the talents of our kids, whether it is shooting a basketball, playing the cello or acting in the play, I love watching our kids in ALL of them! #bfc530

I like the idea of giving thanks with gratitude for all of the wonderful things in life and giving the chance to take stock and reflect on what could be better. For the record, Australia doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving. #bfc530
Instead of thinking of visual and performing arts, engineering, tech, athletics, activism, and other programming that promotes curiosity, creativity, empathy, and justice as “side dishes,” let’s incorporate these practices so the curriculum becomes one composed meal. #bfc530

We have 24 clubs and organizations. Picking one is too hard, but The Model United Nations has a special place with me. We now host our own conference! It teaches skills required in any profession. #bfc530

I used to do a free weekly girls basketball clinic to teach the fundamentals of basketball for 2nd-5th graders. I would have over 50 girls attend weekly. #bfc530
A change in school from my student yrs to teacher is the lack of socializing events within school day. Afterschool activities are nice, but some Ss arent able or unwilling (too shy) to get involved. #bfc530

Our Science Club is really involved as well. They don't just talk aboit science and the environment, they take action with multiple projects, STEM Games, and this year...a whole school STEM Fair! #bfc530

Very cool! I've lobbied for the race organizers to be more about the first two (thus preventing parents to do all the design/build and students only race). I'm proud my students can explain the detailed physics behind their cars! #bfc530

I always get a kick out of assembling the choir for our Remembrance Day Ceremony and other events. It’s logistically difficult at my school, but always worthwhile. #bfc530

#BFC530 I’ve been privileged to be a part of Special Olympics: Play Unified events and #RHS Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. I also LOVE to go watch my students at their arts and athletics events.
