I still reckon there's got to be someone out there that has a timetable of the various chats on Twitter eg.
How do we get more Ts from the UK to connect w/ us in the USA? Seems they are hesitant & don't follow back
Totally agree! https://t.co/4yo4RHKEtp

Evening all. A2 Learning new research and ideas. Also, new programmes and Apps being used for similar curriculum.
Could never hate Gust. Not sure what the reason is, maybe b/c I am from USA?
That's a BRILLIANT idea Vicki!

Hello guys. Joining in late from Texas, USA.
even more amazed to learn our site still getting 50+ hits a day although we are now in March! Superb!
It's NOT about You, BUT the of Chats in the US is dropping DOWN, sorry ;) TOO MUCH talk, talk
What is the best way to connect with global educators outside Twitter?
Definitely Greg! It is so helpful to me to learn what others are doing from around the world. Love global POVs
A2: Yes! You are never alone in your innovation.
A2) different countries have different systems we could learn from/help us appreciate some characteristics of our own systems more
I am honest & HARD : In 2 years following Chats in the US THEY moved ONLY 1 inch :(
I agree with you; too much echo chamber & too little call to action.
A3 Just join. Get involved. Don't think about the country. It's irrelevant unless the Q is context based.
A2) + like said, it's fun! For me, it's particularly fun to learn abt diff cultures (+ interesting how it affects PoVs)
This is exactly why we encourage others to share ideas & not think they have nothing to say.
Welcome to Tiffany, so glad you could join us!
A3 Read, comment, question, engage, share, be selective & use universal terminology to avoid confusion
I think that's because education has only moved 1/2"
A3: Following the current trends that interest you and begin participating in the chats. Interest Based Learning always key!
Sometimes it's hard to get a serious dialogue going on a serious issue w/out hurt feelings.
Introduce yourself! :) There are some amazing communities! Here in Ireland we have ! Others globally are or !
Was running late. I had a school concert then thought I deserved a bag of chips on my way home! 🍟
Exactly! Find your interest and join in the conversation no matter what nation!
Agree Harrison, but feelings need to be put aside if we want to progress.
A3:I think the #1 tip is to check compatible times. Also, have twitter etiquette & understand that cultural understandings may differ
Welcome to . You're never too late to join in the chat :)
Absolutely! You never know what thought you might spark in others.
definitely. No point being on a global Internet and worrying about the location.
Hi Harrison :) SHOULD GET used to !
Q1: When and why did you first use Twitter to step outside your own national boundaries & connect globally?
Think the results might reflect the tool we are most comfortable with?
really i pressed when you told me the stats! Just fab! 👌
A1) 2yrs ago, I wanted to learn more about what being a T is like; I'm in Germany, but don't speak German :( so internet helps! :)
Hi, most likely. I think having a presence online is the first step.
Q1: JUST NOW!! I can now add to my calendar https://t.co/k5bvEkYYfh

Q1: JUST NOW!! I can now add to my calendar https://t.co/k5bvEkYYfh
Q1: When and why did you first use Twitter to step outside your own national boundaries & connect globally?
A3 I think this takes time. You follow the hashtag of people you follow. Bit of a search and see whether you want to join.
But I don't think I ever thought that as a U.S thing. Have to think about that a bit.
Wooo! Achievement!! Congrats and welcome from Ireland!
Agreed by 100%! <===> <===>
Q4: What’s the best way to find global chats to participate in that focus on your interests? https://t.co/TdlgwzkRFW
Thanks! I think it's amazing to have immediate connections globally. Quicker than a phone call
in facts I would liked stars one Tw chat in catalán languages
recommend which ones to join first please?
A4 looking to see what chats like-minded PLN head for. Same names in the same range of chats.
Other than that I am not sure what it is, maybe just me?
Have your colleagues embraced being connected educators or are you pioneering?
Great advice for taking part in global HT

Certainly NOT You Julie!!! You are and friendly ;)
A4 Try various chats, you'll soon know which 1s are appropriate for you-be selective, engage with the ones that impact your T&L most
A4: Idea: If there is a chat I really want to join I make an appt for myself in my calendar, otherwise I forget.
A4: In the beginning followed interesting sounding Ts and watched where they went to chat globally. Hope that's not stalking!
You might be biased Gust, but thanks for the support. 😊
You SHOULD know me long enough to know, THAT I post WHAT I mean!!! ;)
. It's the best kind of stalking there is Harrison. I now stalk chats to find global tweeps.
Yes, need also to make sure you don’t become a slave to Twitter. Turn it off occasionally. Give time for yourself.
Excellent suggestion Greg. I also suggest participating in chats that really challenge ur thinking too. https://t.co/eWh9vJifzs
