Kids in "lightbulb lab" dreaming up stories, list makers, small moment writers, letters and envelopes.
A1: An environment where they feel motivated and invited to write. Make it fun for them, it will motivate them.
A3 give loads of encouragement, pair up with best friends, give them choices and support their interest

Beading, playdoh spelling, funky scissor cutting, finding words in magazines, using hole punchers.
I've found that dictating their stories can help too. They love seeing their words in print
A4: We plan out loud with a partner. We see our story like a movie, tell our partner, & return to them to help stay on track.
