    A1: Innovation in our schools requires us to consider how we can empower learning by developing new and improved experiences that develop #FutureReady skills. It's not to say that we throw out what works, rather looking at how we can engage in iteration. #TLAP

    #TLAP A2- Some of my best results come from modelling. Lately I’m innovating by trying to show the students my steps, and my authentic mistakes (tech for instance) and get them to tell me how to fix it and proceed. When they problem solve publicly with me, learning happens.

    #tlap It took me a long time to figure out I won't ever have it "set up," but that I will always be piloting something. It's ok to drop something too-when there are other pilots going on. Innovation means disruption but you don't have to toss out the whole thing every time.

    I completely agree, I would never say there isn't a need for basic knowledge. Every individual requires foundational learning. However, some things aren't necessary to memorize, and not everything can be stored in long term memory. #tlap

      Educators , there is no room for closed doors, jealousy or competition between teachers or schools. All of our students deserve the best education possible. This means sharing, collaboration and building each other up, both within a school and between schools.
