    Don't let them give up or say they can't do it. Ask what you can do to help and what can they do to help themselves improve their weaknesses. It will take students willing to take the risk and teachers working with them every step of the way to succeed #learnlap

    It's hard to open up, but if you keep that wall between students they can't see, they want to see you are real. So yes, tell them when your birthday is. #LearnLAP tell them how you fixed something at home, tell them about how you worked out problems.

    @cwilcoxKSU A7 #LearnLAP Ss and T need a safe from adverse consequences environment. Standardized testing needs to be seen as a piece of a large puzzle not the end all. Ss are people. Not sets of data. They need to feel they have value beyond what they can score.
