Welcome to #ARVRinEDU
Say hello to Hannah. She is my helper this evening to show off this awesome technology. Please introduce yourself and share your experience with the @curiscope#AR shirt.
Steve from NJ here via HI. Beautiful day in Waikiki. I teach game design and development at william Annin middle school #wamspride and am part of research in #VR in the classroom with @Foundry10VR and an #XR4C ambassador :) #ARVRinEDU
Kim EdTech from Texas: I was lucky to have found @curiscope on Kickstarter and have been promoting ever since! ❤️ how it brings anatomy to life :) #ARVRinEDU
Q1 Here is an example of scanning the @curiscope shirt with the app. You can find more information and the links to download the app here https://t.co/glGfA0bHvC. How can wearable, scannable technology be used in the classroom today?
#ARVRinEDU
A1: when I taught history I Augmented a visual qr code of ‘Hammurabi’—Hammurabi’s code—get it? Hahaha. When scanned it took students to a video challenge! The code took them to the web assignment. #arvrinedu

#ARVRinEDU
A1: wearable #AR like @curiscope lends itself to a higher level of immersion and also collaboration. Students can have the roles of the wearer and the viewer & switch back and forth & compare/contrast experiences win/win :) oh and it’s cool wear :) 😎#ARVRinEDU
Q3 Let’s view a new feature that’s should release on July 23 by @curiscope. Visualizing and add your real heart rate!
1. Scan your finger using your camera for actual heart rate
2. View your heart within the app on your shirt
3. WOWZERS!!!
What are the benefits?
#ARVRinEDU
A2: I think students might prefer viewing wearable technology in #AR because of the overlay of the images into the real world give it a more tangible feel- not to say the #VR isn’t valuable as well 😁 #ARVRinEDU
#arvrinedu A2 I would think #ar would offer Ss more of a learning experience.. things like callouts with additional information as well as the animation. Add Zappar for a little interactivity & you’re off to the races.

#arvrinedu A3 That’d be learner-centric for sure, seeing biometric data (limited, sure but still #wow).. now if only it could do blood type w/o the bleeding.
A3: @curiscope adding real heart rate to the app adds a customized personal learning experience that makes that real world connection that teachers strive to create and connect to all lessons. CANNOT WAIT :) ❤️#ARVRinEDU
That's a great point Dan. There are benefits and uses for both, but it seems to be a more acceptable approach by the masses using #AR because of that very reason. #ARVRinEDU
#ARVRinEDU A2 Both but the full immersion in VR might be their favorite...would have to test out this theory in a classroom:) plus we would have to take usage into context. It is sometimes faster to switch between ar experiences if everything is in same app.
Q4 Did you know you can use the code ARVRinEDU to get 20% off your shirt right now and get it before the release of this feature? https://t.co/glGfA0bHvC
What type of students could benefit most from these type of #ARVRinEDU learning experiences?
I didn't show how you can explore each part and view then semi transparent to explore inside. There is much more to this app that my short video could show, but it's really impressive. #ARVRinEDU

So true. There are times when #AR or #VR would be a better use, but having the flexibility for both is pretty cool. The #VR let's you explore inside of the body and through the blood. Pretty awesome. #ARVRinEDU

Good morning! It's 2am here in the UK and as you can imagine my heart rate is very much resting! #ARVRinEDU glad to hear you guys are just as excited as we are here @curiscope
A4: All students can benefit from the wearable #AR and #VR technology offered by @curiscope. Kinesthetic learners, visual learners, as well as those students who just need a memorable experience to lock in on a concept can all find value in this type of learning. #ARVRinEDU
A4: I think the shirts are great b/c it forces the students to get out of your seats and pose to learn. Getting the students active in their learning beyond investigating by walking around and communicating/collaborating is awesome! #ARVRinEDU#LoyolaET

What type of students could benefit most from these type of #ARVRinEDU learning experiences?
Q5: partner with Merge object loader and let students augment their own—and also a T-shirt order section where teachers and students can customize image! #arvrinedu
YAAASSSSS!!!!! I love this new feature because to visualize your own heart rate in your body is just beyond my understanding. @curiscope is doing some amazing things! #ARVRinEDU
A5: The digestive system. Combine with a Merge Cube to become a piece of food. See the process as you move that food throughout the body. 💩 #ARVRinEDU#LoyolaET
I think the wearable aspect makes the experience more social, and therefore, collaborative. It’s good to start as an engagement activity, or could be used in an exploratory game. Great to have this as an option! #ARVRinEDU#a2@curiscope
I have to admit @JaimeDonally , it even caught me by surprise when I saw just how fast my heart is pumping right after exercise. Took my breath away...if I hadn't already lost it ;) #ARVRinEDU
