A1: By encouraging our staff to finish strong. Teachers that model focus, perseverance, and dedication will encourage students to follow. We are all about making the days count rather than counting down the days! #prinleaderchat
A1: Seniors are not the only ones to have "Senioritis". Its important for us to lead by example, stick to routine, set reasonable & reachable goals, and make sure that our students still have supplies to learn with. #PrinLeaderChat

I have the same convo with kids. How do you want to be remembered? Especially our fifth graders that want to think there is no accountability to this last bit of time! This convo has changed the actions of many! #prinleaderchat
A3: We have Teacher Appreciation Week and our building retirement celebrations coming up for our staff. We end our year with grade level awards ceremonies for our Ss--three great days of celebrations! #PrinLeaderChat

A4: We complete Summer Institute during the first week of summer. Grade level teams are able to meet together to plan and we are also able to have some building and district-wide meetings during this time. #PrinLeaderChat
Hoping to use @wakelet, Twitter, and my blog to get people excited about the start of the school year--almost as a journal of summer events, school year preparations, cosmetic changes, etc. I would also like to get our folks engaged in good Twitter chats and PD. #PrinLeaderChat
A4: I first take some time to unplug and focus on me. I then attend the @TASSP1 Summer Workshop with my colleagues from across Texas to get energized for the upcoming school year. #PrinLeaderChat
Love this! Last year, I delivered back to school boxes to every staff member's home. This year, my team leaders will be delivering the boxes to their team mate's homes. We might do a dinner and box filling party the night before delivery! #prinleaderchat
