Stacy in Atlanta, I find time for PD by targeting conferences that I can attend and learn from well in advance, Twitter, Instagram and lots of books on topics of interest #CALIBChat
Wasn't able to get to either ALA or ISTE this year, but hope to get to @iNACOL and @cslainfo conferences this year. Curious to see what experiences others had this summer. #calibchat
A1 I participated in #notatiste18 and am still exploring all the resources that were shared on Twitter. The list of sessions-many with links- is here. https://t.co/iNuEWGfiy2 You may have to login to view but it’s free to sign up. #CALIBChat
A3. Sorry, hopping in late. It’s been one of those days. I recently finished Scythe and loved it. Anal Unbound was amazing too. I’m working on Refugee and Innovator’s Mindset right now. #calibchat
A2. I’ve been seeking out more librarians and educators to follow on Twitter. It’s great professional development because I can search for the hashtags I’m interested in, but I also discover things via my PLN that I wouldn’t have known to look for! #CALIBChat
A3: I want to know more about creating 360 Virtual Tours. I also want to dig into the AASL Standards so I can start sharing them with stakeholders this year. #calibchat
A3: Professional learning for me this summer has been catching up on YA (because I have been working outside of libraries). Read "Salt to the Sea," "Between Shades of Gray," "Librarian of Auschwitz," and others. #calibchat

Our next #calibchat will be on August 23 at 5pm PT. Please mark your calendar, and #helpafriendgrow -- spread the word. And, do please be sure to follow everyone in the chat if you aren’t already.
A2 Utilizing Twitter to grow my PLN and learn. Attended an unconference that brought together academic and school librarians in IN, and collaborating with @WCHS_MedCtr within my own school Corp. #calibchat
A3. Looking forward to S. C. Edtech this fall. I applied to present a session on using (mostly) free ebooks in schools/libraries. I’d welcome your suggestions and resources! https://t.co/jFfkAI2ZtQ#CALIBChat
Q3
I would love to be able to go to library conferences. There is one coming up in Pittsburgh, but I can't go because I'll be out of town. As a young professional, it's one of my biggest goals to attend conferences! #calibchat
I had to use my phone for #calibchat tonight (awkward!) so I apologize for not being able to keep up with everyone’s tweets. I’ll be going back through the timeline to see all the responses!
Conferences are my favorite way to stay excited about my job. I enjoy trying new things with my students, and attending conferences allows me to be a learner too! #CALIBChat
Q2 I think my summer courses have really helped me. I have had to update a blog for one class, and I think that has helped a lot. I also started my job as an LA, which is great for starting my LIS career! #calibchat
A3 (pt 2): I would love to go to AASL or other related conferences as well. I've been to a couple of museum-related PD when I worked at a science museum, so it would be great to do more for my current career path! #calibchat
