A1: Everything that Ken Shelton @k_shelton did was great. His opening keynote and a session called Designing a Culturally Relevent & Responsive Pedagogy were like no other. He really spoke from experience & had real world reflections #fcsvanguard
Q1: I always love @lesliefisher. Her 'Tech Tools You Can Use Tomorrow" and her "Tech Tips for Busy Administrators" were great. I also went to Chris Craft sessions today that I enjoyed- lots of info on Chrome Extensions. #fcsvanguard#GaETC18
Q1: My favorite session was unmasking coaching ...I loved this session because it was so engaging and they actually allowed us to do a little role playing They provided real life scenarios and I am now able to take back what I’ve learned and put it to practice #FCSVanguard

A2: From EdTech Lip Sync Battle: Presenters go head-to-head with tech integration ideas for random grade and subject, participants add ideas via Flipgrid and one is randomly pitted against them, audience chooses fav, loser has to dress up and lip sync 😂🎤#fcsvanguard

A2: I liked another session about iReady - it was not as packed but there were a lot of Fulton Teachers there. The takeaway was that everyone can conference with student data with fidelity #iready@iReadymdcps#fcsvanguard@GaETConf

A1: Favorite session so far was "Thinking Outside the Box with Hyperdocs" but I am still bummed about missing Allison Townsend's session on Co-planning Learning. #fcsvanguard
A2: My big take away were the show cases presented by the children. I was so amazed. It’s good to hear a presentation from an adult but it’s even better to hear it from our future. I learned about the future survival of life on Mars. #FCSVanguard
@FCSVanguard A1: My favorite session was Adding Bling to Balanced Literacy given by @JaimeVanderG She kept it real about the trials and struggles she had when implementing different technology in her class and she was very engaging! #FCSVanguard
Q3: my favorite exhibit was ‘Lumens’ https://t.co/EUm6wg3L1L they have a camera you can mount to anything and anywhere that records the classroom. It costs $400. I know what I’m spending my stipend on this year. #fcsvanguard
@FCSVanguard A2: My biggest take away was using Flipgrid to extend whole group discussions to keep that mini lesson short. You can ask those DOK 2 or 3 questions and students can discuss in a small group and record their answers on Flipgrid. #FCSVanguard

A5: #fcsVanguard There were Apple Distinguished Educator and Microsoft Teams sessions. I felt like a little bit more could have been offered on both sides. The Apple iPhone changes session was absent likely because it was about overall phone functionality improvements this year.
