I've become a destress baker. I love to come home before picking up kids and bake in a quiet home. I also love getting in a workout with our Faculty Fitness group. Our school has a Wellness Team focused on that very topic. #TOSAchat
My schedule this week involves lots of meetings with teachers who are excited to try new things, which always renews me. Also, working on a new robotics project, so super-stoked about that! #TOSAchat
My last EdD class of the semester is on Saturday! Lots of joy 😂! Anytime I have an extended time to be with my family is what matters to me. It’s the small things in life! #TOSAchat

A2: Hard to schedule me time as finals approach. Luckily, tomorrow morning I get a breakfast with out Leadership Team and Friday I get to have lunch with one of my all time favorite Alumni Yearbook Editors. To smile, I will use my prep & TOSA period to visit classes. #TOSAchat
A2 Every year I give my staff the gift of "extra prep" I take every class for 45 min and bring in some cookies and treats for them during the two weeks of conferences. Me time will come at break... Maybe 😂 #tosachat

A4: An attendance clerk planning a staff potluck reached out asking how Google Forms could help her organize the gathering. She had attended a training a few weeks ago. And a teacher sent me her plan to use book snaps in conjunction with Flipgrid- High School ELA #TOSAchat

A3 I feel much more balanced if I use notes, lists, & G calendar. Something about checking things off. So satisfying. Last week, I tried writing on my blog. I gave myself quiet, child free time. It was really destressing. Those mobile massage services are also amazing. #TOSAchat

A4 I was asked to help 3 teachers crosslist classes in Canvas and I was able to do it in between my classes in less than 30 minutes after being asked. It just worked out perfectly. Felt connected and happy to support. #TOSAchat
A3 - I start and end work days with carpool karaoke. In a carpool of 1 😂 I get my sing on all the way to work and all the way home. No better way to restore my sanity! 🎶🎶 #TOSAchat
A5: depending on which of my schools I’m in, I live to get outside for a walk, but I also love heading in to the staff room to sit and have coffee and chat with anyone who is there. It keeps me centred and connected to my colleagues. #tosachat

I like walking across the street to the @7eleven to grab a drink. Or doing a quick lap around the block is always nice too. Sometimes I'll go solo or with a colleague. The fresh air is always nice. #TOSAchat
A5: New Building conference room with lots of windows, a neighboring classroom, the cafe by our school, outside (if it isn't too cold), walk to staff lounge to check mailbox and make tea. #TOSAchat
A5 - I’m sad to say I rarely leave the office on most days when I am there. Lately I feel there is so much to do and so little time. But when I do, I usually go to the “slanty room” for coffee or take a walk to visit my coworkers in our department’s office #TOSAchat
A5: When I am out at sites, I like to sit in the staff lounge so I can meet and socialize with teachers to help build relationships. At the office sometimes I sneak away into a conference room so I can get some quiet space. #TOSAchat
