Q1: What does effective professional learning look like?

A1 Personalized and differentiated just as it should be for students. Tough part if finding time, PLC and resources for all!
-
It is driven by teachers and based on a well-considered problem of practice. Context driven and relevant.

Feeling Isolated, disenfranchised, marginalized…then read "Velcro Moments: When Teachers Connect" https://t.co/5mdMNKHpeO

A1: building a PLC that recognize Ts must work together to achieve their collective purpose of learning for all
-
A1: Collaborating for School Improvement
-
if possible giving t choice of pd to attend for what they're interested in
-
Always possible. Plan for it. Give Teachers what they need.
-
Q2: How do you ensure that you are providing high quality professional learning?

There is direct evidence that it is impacting student learning. Also that teachers are sharing, more excited about their classroom

A2: Good PD should promote higher-quality instruction and promote more powerful culture and climate in a school. Survey Ts.
-
-
Q3: How do you make an effort to create opportunities for professional learning "outside the box"?
