Q1: What does effective professional learning look like? 
 
 
 
- 
A1 Personalized and differentiated just as it should be for students.  Tough part if finding time, PLC and resources for all!

 It is driven by teachers and based on a well-considered problem of practice. Context driven and relevant.

A2:  Ts ask for more or just like a good class, they are still working beyond the 'end of time' or on their own time later!

 There is direct evidence that it is impacting student learning. Also that teachers are sharing, more excited about their classroom

A2: Good PD should promote higher-quality instruction and promote more powerful culture and climate in a school.  Survey Ts.

Q3: How do you make an effort to create opportunities for professional learning "outside the box"?

A3:  Let go of the need to "have a meeting" and let them explore the problem from multiple sources, sites - action research type

A3 by attending conferences and re-delivering, collaborating for new ideas

 A4: Lots of reading, following folks online, teaching great leaders at Heritage University.

A5: monthly newsletter, twitter, community engagement events
