Perfect! Innovation starts from w/in! Tech can help achieve the goals, but it does not create the goals! https://t.co/i40UWLGBbg
A2: Tech is a tool, not the reason for innovation! Anyone who claims they need tech for the sake of tech isn't being innovative.

Q2: Is technology necessary for innovation to happen? Why or Why not?
Greetings ! Checking in from Denver CO-
A2: No. Innovation is problem-solving at its best. Technology helps to propagate & provide the platform.
a2: tech isn't the end all be all. ideas change the world, not products.
A2) Tech is usually innovative by design, but it's not required to make a change.
A2 Not necessary, but is the reality of our current society.Sometimes innovation needs to address it, but doesn't have to BE it.
Good morning! Great to see you, Teresa!
A1: Innovation is learning by doing. Action-oriented. Even small wins can be very 'innovative' if moving forward.
A2: Innovation is a way of thinking; a shift in mindset.
Morning David! Great word about innovation.
Wait......I think I know you. Have we met?
We underestimate the value of learning in innovation…hard to cross-pollinate and connect-dots you cannot see.
RTQ2: Is technology necessary for innovation to happen? Why or Why not?
RTQ2: Is technology necessary for innovation to happen? Why or Why not?
RTQ2: Is technology necessary for innovation to happen? Why or Why not?
I'm David, an elementary curriculum consultant and recent PhD graduate
A2 Not necessary but technology can certainly enhance the process. Innovative thinking is a human skill.
A2) Innovation is a state of mind. Finding answers to questions or situations using what you have…watch a child with a box!
We just accept excuses when we settle. Get tired of fighting the fight. We must stay strong!
This is great, Meg! "Not Yet" is my for 2016!
and how educating Ss can empower them to change the world beyond what we can now imagine
A2: The ability for our students to wonder and desire answers to questions must be in place before we power up.

My pleasure. I really enjoyed reading it and it changed my mindset. Enjoy!
Tech is not needed to innovate, but sometimes is an activator of possibilities.
A2: technology is not required but can increase innovation and enhance!
A2: Innovation can happen anywhere, anytime, with anything. technology is not required, but rather can enhance.
A2 Tech is a must for innovation, but not necessarily computer tech as we tend to think of it. Tech=anything that helps improve.
A2: Technology is not necessary. Innovation can begin on a Post-It Note, in a Twitter Chat, or during a class discussion.
A2: Tech makes it easier, but not always necessary. I've found that I'm starting to use paper/pencil, walls, etc. more this year.
Ditto, it is about the lens with which we view our world.
Technology can hinder innovation by giving a false sense of good communication, positive culture, and good pedagogy.
A2: Tech can enchance anything, or it can take over and defeat the purpose of anything. It's a tool, not the facilitator.
A2 Innovation is fundamentally about understanding unarticulated NEEDS & designing insightful solutions
Exactly! We've all seen some people use tech only as a really expensive paperweight!
It is important that our reading move outside of education…especially in regards to creativity and innovation.
Like squares and rectangles: Technology can bring innovation, but innovation doesn't rely on technology.
This one is on my shelf. I follow a lot of Wagners work. I think it's going to be a great read!
A2: Most ppl think Tech when they hear innovation but most innovative thing I did in my classroom was an analog twitter wall
A1: agree! innovation is and risk taking. https://t.co/BrfEwXDe8a
A1: Innovation is trying something new to accelerates or amplifies an existing process or product! It creates excitement!
A2 No. Innovation happened long before computers. Tech is tool, not end product. Innovate how it's used. Not required.
Hey Sam! Great to see you! I like this thought about assimilation vs invention.
it can be if used in the right way and not just as a replacement
A2 tech Could support and vehicle the creative ideas but still need to have these ideas to initiate any innovation

Innovation is synchronized with all "best practices" 4 edu. Transcends content. Ts need 2 model innovative process in all we do.
A3: Because we proclaim to be educators pushing students to want to be creative learners and innovators
