A1: I will have to try audio only for teachers...maybe they will participate more often LOL. For students, I found some emoji masks at Dollar Tree that would be fun and remove that barrier. #cuechat
A1: I assume too much when I think that all kids like to be on the camera based on the Snapchat & Instagram culture of today. Having students do an audio only video is pretty slick #cuechat
A1: My fav item is #1: Moderation Settings. I use this nearly 80% of the time, when Ss initially create their video and until I preview them all. We also talk about how to respond to others prior to watching videos from others. #FlipgridFever#cuechat
A1: I like tip 2 the most. This is something where students are still able to conduct the ever so important speaking, but minimize the fears of seeing themself. #cuechat
Q2: #Flipgrid veteran? Share a screenshot of your dashboard & engagement minutes!!
Flipgrid newbie? Create a new educator account & share a screenshot of your brand new dashboard!!

A1) #cuechat@Flipgrid Some of the best choices for camera shy students is to pair them up with peers or use props! I love when kids illustrate a scene and place it in front of the camera π₯ ! Gives it a unique visual to their work!

A2) #cuechat@Flipgrid I wouldnβt say I was either a Veteran or a Newbie, but all I know is that I am enjoying to incorporate new learning methods with my kiddos using its features!
A1: Something I have done that Ss like is having them do their vid on their device or in their preferred program then dress it up in @Flipgrid!
#cuechat
A1 - I like the idea of allowing students the chance to cover their camera and record audio only. Simply offering as an option for them to choose will ease any anxiety they may feel about making a video. #cuechat
Scott you gotta get your event up on the main CUE page! There is a google form you fill out and #CUE will add it to the events calendar! #cuechat@MrNunesteach
Recorded a SWEET video, and my audio didn't record! I said #SGVCUE, #CUEBOLD and then I promoted #CUENV on Sept. 28-29 in Las Vegas (not on the calendar yet). Want to present or attend? Let me know and I can get you links! #cuechat
A4: 1.The 1st or 2nd class of the year have every student tell me about themselves, making a digital yearbook to learn names and interests! 2. Have Ss reflect on their engineering projects. 3. A place to house all my @AppleEDU#clips videos and link to my website #cuechat
A4: I can always get Ss to talk about tech past, present, and future. Some pretend to hate it, but secretly they like it and admit to it in private, so whenever talking is low I mention some new AI or tech and the class is in an uproar with related topics and ideas!
#cuechat
A4: Speaking/listening standards are totally supported with #flipgrid. Here is a doc to show how S/L are across all domains! Kids can't write if they don't speak first! #cuechathttps://t.co/AewO7jRj7w
This is the same event I was looking at and it's so close to me! I'm so new to integrating technology into educational settings so it's exciting to see things like this! #cuechat
A4 I love using @Flipgrid for assessment - kids can often share better orally what they understand about a text ...also perfect for practicing/assessing dramatic reading, giving testimonials, making commercials, book advertisements...endless uses! #cuechat
Yes. Last year when I had my 3rds explain a concept on #Flipgrid they always seemed to take it more seriously and think more deeply about their responses. #cuechat
Q5: #Flipgrid is run by amazing, innovative, and giving people (including our very own @annkozma723! #WeAreCUE). Please give a shout out to @Flipgrid & let them know what you love about their awesome platform! (Include the hashtag #cuechat)
A4: Engagement! The students really really enjoy doing the work. They are all responsible for their own actions you are able to see where each student is rather than going with your gut feeling. Accountability to the max. #cuechat#wearecue
A4: I love how it helps kids make the very real connection to seeing themselves and doing better work. So often Ss get stuck into just getting things done, this changes this! #cuechat

I LOVE how easy #flipgrid is to integrate into #googleclassroom, how FUN it is for kids (and adults) to collaborate and make their learning visible! Thank you, @Flipgrid#cuechat
A5: Any tool or technique that is predicated on the concept of amplifying Ss Voice is a tool that I will always support! @annkozma723 has been about that from the beginning, so her relationship with @Flipgrid will only make us all better for Ss success! #cuechat

Yo @Flipgrid I love the #FlipgridFever that is taking the world by storm! I am not all in yet, but am hoping to get their! I love the integration with @wakelet and @schoology. I love to connect with other educators, and this is a seriously fun way to do so! #cuechat
A5. It's truly the people behind @flipgrid that make it awesome. Got to hang with with @AdamShortShorts and @Taralson along with a bunch of awesome educators at CUE last year. Oh, and @annkozma723 is pretty amazing. #cuechat
That was a good time, that's when I was first mistaken for @jmattmiller, then I was mistaken because Joey meant the other @mmiller741, then all three of us were together an hour later with @jcorippo and @dustin772, it was a great, yet confusing, time! #cuechat
