    A1: I love to read "Miss Nelson is Missing" and make wanted posters. I also love to read "First Day Jitters". I have then had the students respond writing or drawing a picture of their first day jitters. #3rdchat

    A4: I started our first morning meeting with norms. I showed them pictures of my third grade team in PLC to model what a meeting looks like. Every morning, we LISTEN to each other. Sometimes with topics, sometimes just to LISTEN ❤️ #3rdchat #LPEPawsUp

    My Ss last year loved the "Who Would Win"series. Earth Day,plants, pollination, "Give Bees a Chance". Also used the "I Survived" books in Science to intro topics. Math_Sir Cumference series by Neuschwander. #3rdchat

    A8: I LOVE starting our first read aloud of the year with the spunky character Clementine. I love hearing my Ss giggles as she does silly thing after silly thing and makes bad decision after bad decision. It provides for great conversation! #3rdchat

    A8: I use the Magic Tree House series for our book club - around 2nd trimester I begin doing this bc most students are transitioning into chapter books and it's a little scary. I also use the companion fact tracker and do mini lessons. #3rdChat
