Q1: What activities do you prepare for your students or staff to maintain the collaborative culture for students and/or staff?

A1 Taking a look at genius hour and how we can incorporate PBL!

A2: Students aren't the only ones who have "summer slide" if they don't continue to learn and grow.

A3: We are growing into the growth mindset. We are all reading over the summer.

A4: Staff are taking over the planning/facilitating our retreat! I'm out, they are in and I'm a learner side-by-side.

A4: Newly formed Field Day committee of Ss who were nominated for PE award.. They choose the events and work with us all day.

Q5: In what ways do you stay connected with your students and teachers throughout the summer? Social media, tech, etc..?

A5 I try to give them a break from me;)

Q5: We have a 4 week summer learning camp for the students. About 40 students attend from my building. Fun to see them there!

Supervision in teacher education literature is that while the student will manifest in more for their children will attend.

A5 Great Q! Google chats for staff on a volunteer basis- and school Facebook- Twitter- and Insta!

A5: Social Media, gatherings for Ts, l live in my district so I see many kids daily in town!! postcards to check in on rdg.

A5: Tweet & FB what I'm reading, ask Ts to do the same. Continue to send summer updates & visit our summer camp.

A5: I seal coat their driveways! I also hit the little league park, basketball camp, and have a 12 yr old brother in law.

A6: We get support from the local libraries & the Rotary Club provides summer books for many students!

A6-unfortunately nothing...would love to see more of a community support effort for S and their development as leaders

A6: Our district & ISD plans many opportunities for Ts to attending training that interests them. No partnerships.
