CatholicEdChat is a twitter chat. Topics focus on discussions around educational issues for Catholic Educators and topics beneficial to Catholic Schools. We look forward to continuing to connect Catholic Educators online to discuss education and teaching with faith in our schools. The chat takes place on Saturday mornings. Time 9am EST.
Awesome! What subject do you teach? My husband flipped his Chemistry and Physics classes. I've been hearing a lot of recording this summer too. #CatholicEdCHat
Plans are tying up the old job duties and jumping into the new job duties. And moving 140 miles. One small family vacation end of July. #CatholicEdChat
No. That day is finance council, school board, working with new principal and new teachers. Couldn't get any more booked for a summer day in June! #catholicedchat
bummer! We will have Google Docs set up for each session. So if there is something good, I'll let you know to check the website. https://t.co/JbBaXA9ct9#CatholicEdChat
I’m reading like crazy too. Partly for my Ed.D. program, partly because I’ve been asked to host a TV program (ack!) in which I interview Catholic authors. Filming of pilot episodes start Mon. 🙏🏼 for me! #CatholicEdchat

I have so much to do but I’ve been lazy and binge watching on Netflix. I decided to wait for garage cleanup till July after #LAX18. Of course I’m sure I will have an excuse then too! #catholicedchat
Well my go to move for creating my lesson plan is backwards design. Also I love small group work stations. Movement and small chunks of learning. #CatholicEdchat
A3 When my new staff arrive I'm going to setup a high five line like the dance line on Soul Train. We will make a big deal to welcome them and make them feel like part of the team. #satchat Also music every morning. Music changes and sets a positive upbeat mood
I will! This is all rather new and fairly sudden. I’m not even sure how much I can share yet, but I’ll keep you posted. I think the plan is to film in summer than air during the school year. #CatholicEdchat

I think it is called #christain kindness Mark think that is at the heart of the #Catholic church teaching. I am sure #CatholicEdChat could help you repent your far right ways
Wow never thought of it that way. I do think the titles of our classes needed to change but the Department Head said we would have to resubmit UC approvals. Hopefully this will happen. #CatholicEdChat
I've discovered podcasts. Has helped the time pass on a few small roadtrips so far. So many good podcasts out there - for 'work' and for fun. Does anyone have any favorites to share? #CatholicEdChat
Easy to set up @GooseChaseEDU. If you start off as GooseChase, then you can request to be EDU. Can do GPS points, too, if you want to direct them to a specific location. #CatholicEdchat

I don’t know all the authors yet. However, the first one is with Lisa Mladinich and her book “Heads Bowed: Prayers for Catholic School Days” so that’s definitely up the alley for our #CatholicEdChat group. 😊

Thanks for the chat this morning! Off to breakfast with my husband and hitting the clearance section of the gardening store. After a week of rain...we can garden! #CatholicEdChat
