New book
I am looking forward to teaching Followed to my seniors. Many adults could benefit from the lessons in the book. It is comprised of vignettes on internet safety using teens. #pln365

E- Excitement - Ready to add excitement to PD for our staff, as well as continue to add it to my learning activities with Ss. #pln365
E - Elevating the vocabulary usage of my Ss. My co teacher & I do a fantastic job playing the words off each other, like a tennis match. The Ss seem to enjoy it and have starting lobbing words around as well. #pln365
Y - Young people. After working with MS/HS students for 18 years, I"m looking forward to continuing to work with elementary level students. These young folks make me smile each and every day. #pln365
N-🤔🤔🤔 newfound spirit. Kinda lost mine... think I left it in the pumpkin patch.... because that’s the last time I was excited to do anything. But this break has been exactly that. A break. Today, this little and I played 2 hours of Trouble #hecheated#hewonhemall#pln365
E- Empower 19 - I'm looking forward to facilitating with @D4Griffin3 in Chicago this March. We worked on our session this weekend and it's coming along very well. #pln365
It's easy to let self doubt creep in and keep us from doing, and it's also easy to get into a comparison game. Always have remind myself of this. :) #pln365

N - New life. We're excited to bring new life to our Reading, Writing & Math Workshops - and our units of study. We'll be breathing new routines & engagements, plus different closures & celebrations. #PLN365
A- Administrative Goals...It has been a great first half of the school year. I'm looking forward to a productive second half and continuing to do whatever it takes to meet our goals. #pln365
E: Eager. My drama club is bigger than it has ever been (now the 4th year I’ve run it). The kids are so excited and ready to put on Beauty and the Beast this year #pln365
N- darn it!!! I want to change my n again!!! To network!!! My goal is for someone from my pln to send me a blasted chocolate cake!! Oh, and to meet @burgessdave#pln365

A= Action! Gonna make sure to take ACTION when I see a need. Will encourage Ss & Ts to take ACTION when the moment of hesitation surfaces. When we need to do, I will model and encourage others to take ACTION. :) #pln365
E - Experiencing more engagements that help us understand the content. Through doing the work that ornithologists do, we'll understand birds better. Through becoming mathematicians & researchers, we'll "get it all" so much more! #PLN365
R - Reunion with the #EduGladiators I'm looking forward to meeting with this amazing group of educators in April to work on an exciting new project. More details to follow soon. #pln365

E: Every kid. A commitment this year to making sure every kid in my class knows how amazing I think they are and that they all leave Kinder knowing at least one thing they rock at. #pln365

A- accordion- I will have a pink accordion by the end of the school year. And tap shoes. But there was no letter t... it shall from now on be called Happy “newt year” so I can use “tap shoes” as one of my answers. #pln365

R: Rollercoaster. Positively embracing the rollercoaster that teaching K can be, from exciting loops to unexpected starts. We’ve got our seat belts on and we’re ready to roll. #pln365

The best is WHY because why we do something is more important than doing it because we have to. #pln365
W - Wondrous Writing Workshop! We're partnering with amazing authors & illustrators (like @CoreyPBNinja!) to read and research about them so that we can become even better writers ourselves. We'll be truly inspired! #PLN365

A - Advancing our skills. In years past, some kids have remarked about how we don't learn things quickly and move on - rather, we take our time and learn things deeply. I'm looking forward to some wonderful deep learning in the days to come! #PLN365

Im in a little late, but better than never. I've got three Es for you. I have submitted an abstract to the European Entrepreneurship Education Conference to be held in Gothersberg Sweden in May. I should know by Jan 21.
