At a K-12 that had exit projects for 12th grade, started "training" in K-5 by having students learn how to present to an audience
Howdy . Who is out there today?
At HS level it's important to explicitly teach resilience in collaborative settings. St must know how to deal with setbacks
These skills are so important from a young age and to reinforce through graduation. Good to see this happening
Like I always say: resilience is everything
In 4th I teach conflict resolution, organization, and importance of mindset
Truly the soft skills are more important than hard skills
Honesty and taking responsibility are signs that you are an adult. I emphasise these and this idea daily
Making good choices and teamwork. These are important life skills
Cooperation, risk taking, and problem solving.
Self control, not others-control leads to personal responsibility
