Ive used Dojo through 8th grade and they loved it. I didnt use as much of the visual cues, but auditory reminders worked very well with my students. #dojochat
A1: one of my students was put into foster care earlier this year and left my school. I was devistated, then an employee from my school adopted him and he came back. I was elated. :-D #dojochat

A1: I loved how so many parents encouraged their children to read at home, and would send pictures to me. It made not only me proud, but the parents and the children as well!! #dojochat
A1: My 3rd grade Ss collaborated via GHO with 8th grade buddies. At the end of the quarter the buddies wrote a children's book with their 3rd grader as the super hero. It. Was. Magical. #dojochat

A student wrote me a note and told me that I have had an incredible influence on her life...she is in 3rd grade...I do not even have her as a student! Melted my heart! #READ5305#dojochat
A1: Completing final assessments on my kids and seeing all the growth they have made! They built up their confidence in reading and working with others! #dojochat#READ5305
I can hardly keep up with all the awesome that is being shared here, fingers are flying across the keyboard to send you all β€οΈ I see a LOT of passion here #dojochat
One memorable moment was having my students participate in Hoops for Heart- the students raised money for cardiovascular diseases and it was motivating to see their passion for giving to others. #sbpdchat#dojochat
And it only gets better β€οΈ My one big regret is not reflecting and journaling more, because so much happens, you don't want to forget all those amazing moments #dojochat
A2: I'm a teacher because it's my passion and I can't imagine doing anything else. I'm a #dojochat teacher because it helps me take care of a bunch of details so I can FOCUS on my passion!

A2: Because nothing else on earth is more rewarding, challenging, tiring or worth it! Even when teaching is hard...at then end of the day I have had the amazing opportunity to influence at least one student! Day. Made. #READ5305#dojochat
A2: Teaching my stuffed animals and dolls for years became boring, so I decided to be a real teacher instead π Being a ClassDojo teacher is the easiest way for me to connect w/ parents #dojochat
A2: I am a teacher beacuse teaching is the most rewarding job there is! It is definitely hard work but watching your students grow as learners and seeing the lightbulb go off is the most rewarding thing in my opinion. #dojochat#READ5305
Q2: I always wanted to be teach or be a counselor. Teaching in the district I teach in I get to be be both. I have always loved seeing children grow academically and morally. Knowing that I can share some positive light in childrenβs lives is what keeps me going. #dojochat

A2: I am a teacher because I want to share my passion for what I love ( Sports & Physical Activity) with others (my students). I want to give students a positive experience in PE class. A positive experience now is more likely to be physically active later. #sbpdchat#dojochat

A2: Iβm a teacher because it is the only thing Iβve ever wanted to be. Iβm a Dojo teacher because Dojo makes my job easier, richer, and more connected to my studentsβ families. #dojochat
A2: Iβm a classdojo teacher because itβs honestly one of the only ways I can communicate with the parents. They speak Spanish only and I donβt. Using dojo we can all translate what we want to say. Itβs so amazing!!! #dojochat
A2 I struggled as a student - only scholarship kid at private school. Teachers poured into me and I wanted to pay it back. #theysavedme#encouragement#dojochat
A2: I started teaching because my personal children had such a love of learning. They had some really great teachers. I use ClassDojo because parents are often more willing to communicate via the app. Some parents really do not like coming to school. π #dojochat
A4: My other passion is child psych. I'd love to work as a restorative justice facilitator in schools. In my spare time, I want a big sailboat with a full crew to sail me where ever I want to go! #dojochat
I would work in teacher recruitment! I've represented my county on four out-of-state trips and there is nothing like speaking directly with passionate educators who are beginning their journey! #dojochat
A3: I would still teach and coach. I'd just be able to do it without worrying how to pay for supplies or getting sports equipment. It could just happen. I could make the learning environment I want my kids to have. #dojochat
So cool to see so many ideas that you could actually do along with teaching... what's stopping you?! We'd buy your book, stay at your Bed and Breakfast, visit you as a Disney Princess! π #dojochat
Q3: If I had more free time, I would want to be a foster parent. I donβt have much free time though with two kids at home and 22 in the classroom β€οΈβ€οΈ #dojochat
I would want to be a shoe model because shoe shopping is my favorite thing to do in the world and I love sporting some fun new shoes! #dojochat#READ5305
A3: I would probably work with (tutor) some of our more challenging students. They often require smaller classes, more time to complete assignments, esteem building and some additional services. #dojochat
I'd own a little tea room or cafe. I'd bake fresh pastries every day and we would have afternoon tea. For now, I bake for my school kids and my personal daughter!

Ask for help!! Donβt hesitate to ask. You donβt have to pretend that you already know everything! (Assuming it is a healthy work environment) and run from Negative Nancyβs like your hair is on fire!! #dojochat#dojosquad

A6 If I could change anything it would be to find more reasons to laugh. I can be too serious and stressed at times. Laughing is my favorite. #dojochat
Q6: Only one thing? Can I say I would go to ISTE?? I need to figure out a way to organize all my conferencing and small group work for reading workshop.
#dojochat
Don't try to do too much in the beginning. And have the kids make things to help spice up your room instead of decorating the whole thing yourself. π #READ5305
A6: I would use more technology with the kids. I use dojo with the parents and reading A-Z with the kids, but I need to get out of my comfort zone and let them try more things on our chrome books. Time to be a full blown future ready classroom #dojochat
A6: I would try to stay more organized when it comes to paperwork (I've always been bad at this, but I am slowly improving.) I hope next year I don't end up like this again #dojochat
