Hey #TXed leaders! Greg- Pre-K, MD. Checking in for some time tonight. Hope all are well. Favorite ice cream is whichever one I am enjoying at the moment. Top two are chocolate and vanilla.
A1- As a pre-k educator, my favorite writing instrument is a dry-erase marker. Allows both my Ss and I to get creative collaboratively. #TXed Of course, crayons rank right up there as well.
A1: Paper Mate Flair pens are some of my favorites! Love the “marker” like quality, so I can write with some pretty calligraphy if I want, or I can scribble a grade on a paper #TXed
A1-Can’t say that I have a favorite writing instrument. I find myself typing notes into Google Docs or Google Keep. But I know that I need to write more because it will help me remember. #TXed

Oops...favorite ice cream. I'm American Indian and lactose intolerant. I like SoDelicious soy, cashew, and coconut ice cream which is $5 to $6 a pint. #txed

A2: fav teacher app is totally for me and for the kids/parents and it’s @Seesaw it’s the best!!! Can do soooo much! Announcements, post instructional videos, document progress, collect data, student collaboration, etc. #TXed
A1: I love writing on white boards, so definitely colored Expo Markers. There is something magical about practicing problems on a white board that seems to make the information click. #txed#Sp19edfb4338
A1: Love me some Flair felt tip pens, sharpies & Mr. Scent markers! My Ss ❤️ using them in the "teacher supply tote" just as much as I do! How can you go wrong with markers that smell?!?😜 #TXed
A2: So hard to choose! I love @nearpod for teacher use because I can search for so many things, but I can also make my own. Also, can choose student paced or live version. Also love @Seesaw and @GetKahoot! #TXed

#txed A2 I exclusively teach with a @surface linked up with a wireless display adapter. Drawboard PDF is HUGE! I use it EVERYDAY! Take a pic of a student paper in the app and BAM! INSTANT PDF YOU CAN INK ON! @surface + Drawboard PDF = teaching with #MorePower
A2 I’m not sure what everyone’s answer will be, but I know I got to play a @onedirection themed @GetKahoot in @RobbieSimonek’s class. It was awesome. @GannSam won. Still waiting on that 1D reunion tour. #txed
A2: I do not personally use any apps to teach, but I love using Quizizz in the classroom. It is interactive, engaging and allows the students to learn while being competitive. #txed#Sp19edfb4338
A2: I love being able to share our daily activities through Facebook and Twitter. I ❤️ that I can share all of our celebrations with my kiddos families, the communuty & the world! It's my job to raise my students up and FB and Twitter are the perfect platform #TXed

I’ve been challenged by @courtneyjer to post pics of my 7 favorite books, 1 each day. My day 5 pick is: “The Innovators Mindset” by @gcouros! This book shows how to move into an innovative model of schooling! Highly recommend!! Now I challenge @Owl_b_TorresEdu#txed#Edleadership

A3: @Flipgrid is definitely at the top of the list! It is a game changer and levels the playing field for all kiddos. @plickers is a great way to make learning interactive and fun. @quivervision has endless possibilities. #TXEd

A5 My go-to "gettin' spots" for teaching are Amazon, Target, NAEIR, Walmart, and Donors Choose for some items. Dollar Tree is good sometimes also.ooh..and Wish #txed
Anything drive thru! Hehe. Does that count? After a long day, who wants to cook a home made meal and deal with dishes? By that point you just need sustenance. #TxEd

A5: I try to meal prep the best that I can! On Sundays I will bake boneless chicken breasts that I marinated in the flavor of my choice that week at 400 degrees for 22 minutes. I also make celery and carrot sticks to go with this! #txed#Sp19edfb4338

A6: since I have teenagers and they are ALWAYS hungry... if I am late I tel them it is a “YO-YO” night. (You On Your Own). They can make their own, eat left overs, or warm up frozen meals I’ve prepared in the freezer. #txed
