A1. Resource Researching 4 all things interactive, fun, different

I'm sure your students appreciate the time you spend on this! https://t.co/LU6kbz0Hon
A1. Resource Researching 4 all things interactive, fun, different
A1. I try to gather as much resources as possible. I also go for trainings to improve my teaching.
A1 I agree with , the extra research for different and fun activities take place out of school most times for sure!
Teachers are very busy people !
We are! Look at us right now š
A1. My idea of vacation at times, is on lied or on site PD. Exchanging ideas and best and worst practices. Collaborate
I certainly think the best ones are š
A2 Using rubrics cut down on grading time for major projects!
A2: The many steps of projects- the milestones.
I made it! Too many places to be and too much coughing going on. Hello there participants!!!
I really want to use more rubrics this school year. To evaluate, coevaluate, selfevaluate, etc.
A2: Many of our teachers says the detailed response to students takes up a lot of time. Find a uniform approach?
A2. Why make it mandne 4 u and them. Engage in PBL instead or . Takes Time 2 set up but worth it
Great time-saving tools, for sure !
And add formative assessments with tools like to cover all the bases. https://t.co/rYFEyhs04z
A2. Why make it mandne 4 u and them. Engage in PBL instead or . Takes Time 2 set up but worth it

Thank you for joining us tonight !
Time is so precious! What time-saving tips do we have for hard working educators?
A3: Plan ahead to assure you get the feedback you need in the most time effective manner. Automate, use tech to be productive.
A3. Plan, have a backup, be flexible
A3: Set time goals for yourself. Only work during certain times and save time for yourself. Stress does not always mean productive.
Great tips from ! https://t.co/F3qFiC4MEq
A3: Plan ahead to assure you get the feedback you need in the most time effective manner. Automate, use tech to be productive.
A2: continued- use , and other services to organize resources in advance to save in class time
Prioritize, yes! Going around in circles is not fun!
...and a back up for the backup!
A3. Try to be organized. Also use in the classroom :-)
You have to know what needs to be done NOW and what can wait!
Time for yourself is the hardest part at times, but it has to be done!
can be your teacher assistant if set up correctly!
A3 I've found keeping different calendars for actual class/after school/etc keeps me on top of things. And/or color coating things
A3. And let students participate in the teaching-learning process. That saves time and makes more meaningful learning
That was a great question, . Great tips from great educators here at
EdTech that's Integrated with a purpose and not just thrown in š
I've used to simplify my confusion with my schedule!
Nice organizational tip https://t.co/IPIhgwfTX4

I agree!!!!

A3. And let students participate in the teaching-learning process. That saves time and makes more meaningful learning
Absolutely! It's not wise to put the cart before the horse! Objective THEN tool in this case.
Agreed. It's OK to let the Ss be Ts. U get a better sense of DOK
Yes, student choice and ownership! https://t.co/dlEjKdgPEe
A3. And let students participate in the teaching-learning process. That saves time and makes more meaningful learning
A3. 100% agree. and are 2 great examples I use. I've started with & I love it
Next question on the way!
is like my binders from college but online. I can find things in neat "tabs" by category.
A4: Ummm, really should do that more, shouldn't we?
A4 You can't accomplish all you have planned to and want to if you aren't healthy, rested and happy!
A4 my family is #1 irrespective of workload. No two ways about that.
A4: It is important, of course. But learning how to balance is very hard for me because I honestly love to work. So it is hard.
"Stressed is Dessert backwards. If you are too stressed, then you'll eat too much sugar. How is that helpful?" (quote from student)
A4 the relaxation comes automatically when I leave all else aside and focus on family .
Most times there are signs that balance is out of whack! learning to recognize these are so important! https://t.co/MzMjSHb1Ox
A4: It is important, of course. But learning how to balance is very hard for me because I honestly love to work. So it is hard.
A4 best advice I've received in awhile has been "sometimes the holiest thing you can do is take a nap." Self-care is vital!
A4 Being overloaded doesn't make u a better teacher. Trying to balance teaching&WhateverElse is the best option
I love this, ! https://t.co/C0PCpzo1EL
"Stressed is Dessert backwards. If you are too stressed, then you'll eat too much sugar. How is that helpful?" (quote from student)
I need to know those signs! Usually I just get sick or so fed up that everything ends up on the floor!

Family First TRULY goes a long way. A healthy home life will positively impact your work life.
My husband is also a teacher so we honestly do not know balance. We work a lot. Agree - It's tough!
I think it's let Ss empower themselves (Is that correct in English?)
I ā¤ what I do. And the wk seems overwhelming when I exclude family. They're my neutral niche š
AMEN! Naps are like charging that phone battery. It's a MUST to survive!
I remember naps. I miss them, but I remember them.
That was another great question from ! Take care of yourselves, everyone!
If I could take naps throughout the day, I would work all day long! It would be heavenly.
Amen to that! https://t.co/HWCiKCeKZ2

A5 I'm stoked to hear these answers from all you veteran teachers!
A5: Bring candy first week to bookkeeper, custodian, lunchroom manager and school secretary. They really run the school!
Thank you for using the term "veteran" and not "old"!
This just made me LOL, but so true !
A does not include sleep deprivation. Have a favorite TV Show. Start "you" traditions during the week and keep them!
A5 You can't accomplish everything at once! Take small and steady steps!
I always tell them this:
When you first go into the classroom, it is not yours. It is made up of everything that everyone
YES!!! They really do. And they can be your best friends and helpers in the future
has told you to do. But one day, you will realize that you don't care about some of the rules and you care about others...
that day, you will become a teacher!
And if you get them on your bad side, it can last all year! https://t.co/TzywN5ld8G
YES!!! They really do. And they can be your best friends and helpers in the future
Q5 part 1/2- form a student point of view, I could tell new teachers to ask what the students are looking forward to in the class,
A5: Schedule when you will work and when you will make time for yourself. A healthy balance improves your effectiveness.
Q5 part 2 of 3- or what kind of projects they intend do, take their answers to help incorporat that in to your lessons.
A5 And one of my tips is to keep the motivation they have when they've just finished university. We need motivated teachers
Q5 part 3- It will help the students stay more engaged in the lessons.
So many great tips for new teachers! Good job, everyone!
Put that Thinking Cap On!
A6: By saving all the links you need for the day in one place! (and videos and such)
SLYVIA...GREAT JOB ON SYMCHAT!
A6: Can help you organize resources so that you can find them within seconds rather than minutes.
A6: I rarely type in URLs anyone.
This was Maria's and questions, I was just helping out a friend! Kudo to her! https://t.co/WIlhAjyoLx
