So great that you encourage this culture of having future teachers guest moderate. Keeps conversations revolving around relevant topics. Nice work. #nt2t
Welcome to #nt2t ! Add my handle as a column if you're using TweetDeck to follow along w/ the chat! We're talking about #assessment on #NationalSuperheroDay Introduce yourself, tell us your role/location, and share who's your favorite superhero!
Welcome to #NT2t everyone! Today our guest moderators are @jordyn_pistilli and @alexis_pln1 Please join me by welcoming these two super-teachers-to-be!
A1: I am a preservice English teacher, but I could imagine that finding assessments outside of essays and written exams could be difficult. In high school and college, that’s all I’ve experienced. Any other recommendations from other English teachers? #nt2t

Good morning #nt2t! Hannah here from outside DC, USA. Former 1st grade T, current mom. Favorite superhero is hard, but I've always wanted to be Spiderman!
#NT2t Good morning all! I am going to, high school Spanish teacher from Angola, Indiana. I do like Captain America, and many Marvel characters, but my favorite superhero is probably Thor. Full disclosure: he is quite handsome. 😂
Good morning everyone! I am Julie, co-founder of #NT2t from Missouri, USA. I don't have a fav superhero because I think all of us are superheroes in our own way.
#NT2t#NT2t Good morning all! I am Gwena, high school Spanish teacher from Angola, Indiana. I do like Captain America, and many Marvel characters, but my favorite superhero is probably Thor. Full disclosure: he is quite handsome. 😂
A1: I hope to use assessment tech tools to engage all learners in my future classroom as well as encourage digital literacy! #nt2t#NationalSuperHeroDay
A1: I think assessment plays a super role in classrooms because it give you so much information to lean on to help your students grow and learn more information. #Nt2t
A1: assessment can play a “super” role in the classroom because it can be a gauge to know how well you are teaching and what you can do better in the future #NT2t
As a preservice teacher, I am always looking for a tool that will serve as best practice in my classroom and reach students who have not been motivated by other classes #nationalsuperheroday#nt2t
A1: I think assessments would play the role of superhero, it cause they can help us understand what students don't know before moving ahead. This saves them from getting too lost & allows us to stop help them learn the material #nt2t
A1 Assessment is the power source for reaching all learners (when speaking about content). Formative assessment guides where to go and how much support to provide #NT2t
#NT2t Assessment gives me live, real-time feedback of how much Ss are understanding. My favorite forms are reflection papers, Quizlet live, Mad Libs in Spanish, and a new game @gimkit .
Assessments play a "super" role because it can allow students to have good feedback which benefits both the student and teacher @barbersclass#barbersclass#nt2t
Even though he can't be in the chat today, @JeremyDBond is here in spirit and in image! Got this pic this past Monday at #Parentcamp in DC, it was a great time! #NT2t
#NT2t Assessment gives me live, real-time feedback of how much Ss are understanding. My favorite forms are reflection papers, Quizlet live, Mad Libs in Spanish, and a new game @gimkit .
A1: Assessment plays a super role in the classroom because it provides teachers with information on what parts of their teaching were effective and what they may need to change in order to give their students the best education #NT2t#assessment
A1: Assessment is a way for kids to demonstrate what they understand; the connections they built. It is NOT a way for teachers to "catch" kids off-guard and make reflecting a frustrating process. #NT2t
A1: assessment are often a kind of orientation for different sides: students get to know what they're good at or what they have to repeat, for teachers it's a sign how successful their teaching process is. #NT2T
#assessment helps Ts make important adjustments to the lesson plan. Checking for understanding with Ss is key in case content needs to be retaught #Nt2t#NationalSuperHeroDay
#nt2t Hi everyone! Im a future educator studying Early Childhood Education at Cedarville University. But I imagine that assessment’s “super” role would be to help me motivate students using formative assessments— assessments FOR learning.
A1: I think it plays a super role in the classroom because it determines what us teachers need to focus on MORE or become better at in our delivery of content. Assessments aren't just for us to see what our students have learned, but to test our delivery skills. #nt2t
Chris from Bloomington, IN jumping into #nt2t late (son was making bacon and there was a bacon grease spill that required assistance). Teach world history for private online HS affiliated with Indiana University.
A1: Thought I would share. I started this doc years ago: Different Ways to Find Out what Students Understand." Feel free to use ideas from it to expand how you assess. #NT2thttps://t.co/9iXTpx3Ucc
A2) Think carefully about what you want to assess and how you will a) craft learning experiences to develop the content knowledge & skills and b) truly assess whether the students have learned that content & those skills. #nt2t
A2: After student teaching a few times, I think it is so important to have a back up plan if technology fails! Has anyone had experiences with this? #nt2t#nationalsuperheroday
A2: formative assessment shouldn’t have an “grade” attached to it. Using tools like #kahoot or #Plickers to make formative assessment fun helps Ss focus on learning #nt2t
A2) My advice would be to make sure you have a clear rubric. Having a clear ground to assess students progress is important. #nt2t#nationalsuperheroday
A2: Assessments come in many different forms. don’t be afraid to implement different strategies in your own classroom. eliminate the “grade” stigma and focus on learning and growing. #nt2t#NationalSuperheroDay
I know we all hate state run exams but i'v had a chance to be involved in their production and assessing. If you get an opportunity like that you learn so much about how to communicate assessment to children #nt2t
A2: Being a future teacher, I think making sure what you are talking about is in "kid language". Everyone usually talks about how and what they know that we forget others don't understand it to that degree. @barbersclass#barbersclass#nt2t
#NT2t#NationalSuperheroDay A2: Biggest tip that helped me was to have a pre assessment and planning using backwards design. Various methods are employed (sometimes even simply asking them), but knowing what my Ss know is the biggest key for me in helping them achieve success.
Q2: Looking forward to seeing the advice. However, I will say, one form of assessment I really like is the Google form. That way you can get feedback from students, but it's not scary like a test or quiz might be #nt2t
#nt2t A2: I agree with @lindenEC1 formative assessment doesn't always need a grade. If all FA was for a grade, students would only learn material for the sake of a test and not actually "learn" the material. I know I've done this, especially in high school.
A2: I think to effectively implement assessment within your classroom, if things are not working the way you want you have to be willing to ask questions and make changes to best benefit your students. #nt2t
A2: I still have two more years before I am a teacher but mentor teachers always have great advice on assessment implementation! Excited to hear all of your advice! #NT2t#mentoring
A1) While I've never actually had a classroom to implement asessment in, I think one way it plays a "super" role in classrooms generally is how much it is allowed to determine about what our students can do #NT2t
Agree. I was trained to be an item-writer for the Global History & Geography Regents exam in NY back in the early 2000s. Very informative experience. #nt2t
I know we all hate state run exams but i'v had a chance to be involved in their production and assessing. If you get an opportunity like that you learn so much about how to communicate assessment to children #nt2t
This sounds like a great plan! At an online high school you must face alot of challenges with mixing it up and keeping students engaged! Sounds like you do a super job though! #nt2t#nationalsuperheroday
A2: first of all plan time for assessment in advance. Start with the result of your learning process so that you know the students' goals = requirements for the planning of learning und assessment. Then create milestones: for feedback + assessment #nt2t
So grateful for all of the current Ts in the chat sharing their advice with pre-service Ts like myself and other co-mod @alexis_pln1 It'll be so exciting to implement what we're learning in our future classrooms! #nt2t#NationalSuperHeroDay
A2: Make sure students understand that assessment is not a "test" that is built to scare you. "Assess" is based on Latin assidere ‘sit by’ which means, we sit together and talk about what you understand. #NT2t
True! I've now met all the US-based mods, and with a Brazilian SIL I could potentially meet @stephwurking someday...then I just have to make my way to Canada and Germany! #NT2t
A2: Make sure students understand that assessment is not a "test" that is built to scare you. "Assess" is based on Latin assidere ‘sit by’ which means, we sit together and talk about what you understand. #NT2t
A2) while I'm still pre-service, I've had the opportunity to learn a lot about formative assessment techniques this year, and I'd like to implement these into my classroom in the future! #NT2t
Great answer, Julie. Clarifying the purpose of an assessment can help students feel more comfortable as well. And they'll perform better when they're not stressed out. #nt2t
A3: I am interested to hear others answers to this. As a first year teacher at a low-performing school, there was so much pressure to worry about the grade and difficulty finding that balance between learning/grade. #NT2t
A3) From what I have learned so far from mentor teachers, you keep the focus on the learning by not attaching a grade. Formative assessments are more motivating and accurate when they are assessments for learning, not of learning. #nt2t
A3: I think you keep the focus on learning by not even putting a grade on the paper for the student to see. Just give them the areas they need to work on and work with them to improve in those areas. #nt2t
A3: make sure that it is clear to the students that a grade is not involved but they should still try their hardest. My teachers in HS always made sure that we knew that while grades are importan, they are not the most important part of school #NT2t
A3) Formative assessment can be something as simple as an exit slip, red/yellow/green, etc. Think that students wouldn't necessarily associate some of these with graded activities. Could be marked as done or not. Talk with them about purpose of FA. #nt2t
A3: I think team work is a great strategy to help students learn from each other in a way that the teacher could not, and this puts less emphaiss on the grade! #nt2t#nationalsuperheroday
A3: At #edcampgcc we talked about if assessment is really about giving feedback, we need to put actually helpful feedback on assessments. A 'C' doesn't tell a student what they need to improve. #NT2t
A3: It really starts with the learning itself. Did you start with clear objectives? Did you stay flexible enough that you allowed those objectives to change & morph into learning FOR your students? #NT2t
A3: As not being a teacher yet I am interested in what others say about this! Hoping to use what others say in my future classroom! @barbersclass#barbersclass#nt2t
A3: formative assessment and grading - that's a no-go. Formative assessment should be a help so it can't be a pressure like a grade. Formative assessment is a process - like cooking: you taste, find out that something salt is needed, improve the meal, taste again, ... #NT2T
Hannah, you've identified what I find appealing about standards-based or mastery learning practices: how they demand tighter linkages between grades & the learning they're meant to symbolize. #nt2t
A3: taking the stigma off of grades and focusing on learning can be tough. Weekly check-ins with each student and one on one times if possible can help. #nt2t
This is so interesting, thanks for sharing. When the school overall is low performing, I’m sure it is harder to keep students motivated using formative assessment #nt2t
A3: The grade shouldn't be weighted heavily if you choose to use grades. Students are still in the learning process when it's time for the formative assessment. But, using games or forms can be a grat way to keep the focus on learning #nt2t
A3) I allow them a redo...it gives my students a chance to learn from their mistakes! Once they are done I average the two grades together and they are excited about that! #NT2t
My Assessments page https://t.co/OEDdXI9tqz We need to continually assess our students' learning in other ways than just by testing. Too many schools are just teaching to the test now. #nt2t
#NT2t I think the whole grading concept depends on the district. At one district where I taught, if you told Ss there was no grade, they checked out. Where I am now, Ss will still try their hardest but stress less because they know they have time to learn it b4 they're assessed.
My teachers did an amazing job at getting to know their students and genuinely caring about us. I think that creating an environment of mutual respect is crucial to a positive learning environment. They showed us that they care more about us as individuals than our grades #nt2t
Spot on! This week, I asked students to open the course book and look at the syllabus so they know exactly what they are supposed to learn. Then they chose what and how they can learn. #NT2t
In reply to
@CailynKrall, @Lauren__Bosco, @lindenEC1
A3: #plickers is one of my favorite assessment tools! It take a hot second to gather the answers of your students and you can save the data once done. The only downside is it has only multiple choice and TF. #nt2t
And hard to keep yourself focused on true learning rather than just the content on the test...especially as a first year teacher with a million other things to think about! #NT2t
My teachers did an amazing job at getting to know their students and genuinely caring about us. I think that creating an environment of mutual respect is crucial to a positive learning environment. They showed us that they care more about us as individuals than our grades #nt2t
A3) I think that one way we could do this is use them to show the students how far they've come with a particular topic. If they have a daily small assignment, we can pull out past copies, and they can see how far they've come. We can also stress this at the start of the yr #NT2t
Thanks. Find it's a good description of learning. Goal is the "product" at the end - but you need time and steps, trial and error should be possible without grading - because it's good to make mistakes. We're all learning from our mistakes. #nt2t
A3: I use a lot of online things like quizizz or tenmarks that give data but also make it a challenge/game for Ss to grow their score. Trying to instill growth mindset vs grade mindset. Assessment should be viewed as a window for improvement by both T and S (and parents) #nt2t
A3: I would recommend not giving graded formative assessments. @GetKahoot is a great tool to use in order to motivate students to do their best without the pressure of a grade! #NT2t
YES!!! Please allow students to assess and recognize how much they have grown! It keeps them motivated for sure! I used to have a goal on things like timed math tests: the goal was to get one more right, so they only had to learn 1 additional fact. #NT2t
A3: By communicating to students that an assessment says more about the teacher's ability than the students' capability.
Helps students feel more confident about themselves. #nt2t
A3: By communicating to students that an assessment says more about the teacher's ability than the students' capability.
Helps students feel more confident about themselves. #nt2t
That's a great practical example, Julie! My biggest goal is always reading, so maybe having students set aside a book they can just make it through at the beginning of the year, and then comparing to a book they comfortably read at the end of the year. #NT2t
A4) My favorite “super” assessment tool, both as a student and as a future educator, is Kahoot! This tool makes quizzes so much fun for students; students are learning without even realizing it. #nt2t
I do have one caution with Kahoot. It is mainly used for low-level questions. Think about how you might use Kahoot to ask higher-level thinking questions instead. #NT2t
A4: I love @Quizalizeapp b/c Ss aren't racing against each other, they're only racing against the clock! This can help prevent competition from becoming the focus of the #assessment#nt2t#NationalSuperheroDay
Tools are of course a possibility for assessment. But for me formative assessment should be a talk between teacher and student - talk about assignment, understanding, wishes, goals, chances, opportunities. #nt2t
A3: I would recommend not giving graded formative assessments. @GetKahoot is a great tool to use in order to motivate students to do their best without the pressure of a grade! #NT2t
A4: My favorite assessment tech tool that we’ve learned about so far is probably Quizizz because it was easy to use and lots of room to create and personalize #NT2t
A4: Wizer is my super sidekick! I love that you can create different ways of asking questions- OPTIONS are always good for the diverse atmosphere of the classroom. #nt2t#nationalsuperheroday
#NT2t#NationalSuperheroDay This new game I found a week or two ago. @gimkit It was created for Ss by Ss, and my Ss love it!!!! The only thing is, like everything, it costs a lot of money after the first free 3 sets you create.
I think this is so important for setting students up to be lifelong learners and successful at learning. They need to be able to take stock of their own learning and what they need to learn/do next. #nt2t
YES!!! Please allow students to assess and recognize how much they have grown! It keeps them motivated for sure! I used to have a goal on things like timed math tests: the goal was to get one more right, so they only had to learn 1 additional fact. #NT2t
For starters: transparent communication about learning goals, supported by use of grades to serve that focus faithfully while accounting for learning often being messy, complex. I'm a fan of what @rickwormeli2 perspectives. See what he has to say via YouTube. #nt2t
I was introduced to #plickers last week and plan to use it this Saturday. As an extension, you could get students to justify their choices orally or in writing. #NT2t
A4) Someone at our university designed a tool called QuickCheck that lets you embed questions of different types into Canvas to help Ss and instructors get a sense of how well Ss understood a source or topic. Ss can retake as often as they want. #nt2t
How would you keep the focus away from competition? My experiences with @GetKahoot have been mixed b/c some Ss focus on speed instead of accuracy just b/c they're trying to beat out their classmates #nt2t#NationalSuperheroDay
Absolutely! I had a wall for students to add whatever they were proud of that they had created. Could be a test, a drawing, a story, a note of encouragement, etc. #NT2t
I like creating assessment in google docs/forms. I also enjoyed Kahoot as it allows me to create my own questions as well as chart the classes responses. #nt2t
That's a great practical example, Julie! My biggest goal is always reading, so maybe having students set aside a book they can just make it through at the beginning of the year, and then comparing to a book they comfortably read at the end of the year. #NT2t
A3.2 I'm also coming around to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) practices as part of assessing, where multiple means of representation, expression, & engagement are available. Possible to be tight w/learning goals while loose w/paths to reach them. #nt2t
Currently listening to the Avengers theme song with @jordyn_pistilli , I have never seen any super hero movies, anyone going to see the new movie today? #NT2t#nationalsuperheroday
Good question! Sometimes you can use a special part of a lesson when students work on different tasks 2 talk about perhaps difficulties in this moment. Must not be always a planned time. Use the moment 2 praise or offer help or ask further questions. It's kind of feedback! #nt2t
A4: My favorite super assessment tech tool is @nearpod! Nearpod is a great way to use formative #assessment through technology during the lesson. Check out the video below to learn what it's about! #NT2thttps://t.co/2oWNfqy78Q
Q5: Superheroes have to face challenges. What #assessment tools do you find most difficult to use? What about them makes them difficult? #nt2t#NationalSuperheroDay
A5: Technology is my kryptonite! I have a difficult time learning how to use new tools at first, but it is so worth it when you get the hang of it! #nt2t#nationalsuperheroday
While the kids are working, make sure you are walking around asking them questions - knowledge checks to identify where they are in the learning process. Make sure you keep notes for yourself as well. #NT2t
You may have seen this talk. It ties in perfectly with what happens in our classrooms when we assess and design learning programs. #NT2thttps://t.co/wMueMnifmQ
A5: Again being a college student, I am interested in hearing what others say because then I can think about not using them in my own classroom! @barbersclass#barbersclass#nt2t
#NT2t#NationalSuperheroDay A4: I just thought of another assessment tool that I absolutely love. Google Forms. Set it to work how you want. Also grades for you if you give it Point values. You can create short answer, paragraph, multiple choice, matching and other questions!
A5) As a first year education student, I’m not sure I have an answer to this one. But I’m excited to see what others have to say, this will be great information to keep in my “teacher toolbox.” #nt2t
Yes, my feeling too. Sometimes you focus mostly on the "difficult" ones. But a list can be helpful - try to focus on 3 students. If you can manage this then after 10 lessons... ✔😉 #nt2t
A5: The assessment tool used the most, the paper one. It was especially difficult in 1st grade because we often had to read it to them, and the feedback took as long as it took me to grade them (sadly, a long time with a million other things to do). #NT2t
It was very powerful and a complete step away form the wall that only had "A's" on them- which meant only the "smart kids" ever displayed their work. We spent a lot of time discussing what it meant to be proud of your work. #NT2t
A5: I think the assessment tools that are difficult to use are the ones the students do not enjoy, if they are not enjoying it they are not going to take it serious and put in the effort. #nt2t
Q5: Superheroes have to face challenges. What #assessment tools do you find most difficult to use? What about them makes them difficult? #nt2t#NationalSuperheroDay
A5: All of them can be a struggle as long as we focus on grades in my opinion. One tool I love is classroom discussions- it can be hard to get Ss to open up. I tried a socratic seminar discussing a reading on resilience and was happy w/ the amount of willing participants. #nt2t
A5: Not so much an assessment tool as a type of assessment, but end of unit formal assessments were difficult for me, because even though I could clearly identify the areas Ss needed to grow, it was time to move to the next unit. Very frustrating! #NT2t
A5 Do so-called high stakes standardized tests (state or otherwise) count? Difficulties lie in lack of timely, actionable feedback, along with structures that tend to leave test takers less than fully bought in. Not to mention biases in the material tilting results. #nt2t
Another great resource is Quizlet Live. It is super similar to Kahoot but students work in teams! Competition would still be there but students would want to take their time and work together as team! #NT2t@quizlet
In reply to
@jordyn_pistilli, @GetKahoot, @quizlet
A5: I think using tech is the most difficult. There's so much out there! But, I think it's important because a tech heavy world is how we live now. I'm always excited to learn how it can be used in the classroom #nt2t
And they take up so much time that could be spent on learning. My kids HATE them. It disrupts their school day for almost 4 weeks (2 2-week testing windows in Feb and April). It's ridiculous. #nt2t
Another great resource is Quizlet Live. It is super similar to Kahoot but students work in teams! Competition would still be there but students would want to take their time and work together as team! #NT2t@quizlet
In reply to
@jordyn_pistilli, @GetKahoot, @quizlet
Good point. I remember when I was in school, my teachers had a hard time preparing us for those assessments. Those were mostly memorise-and-write type of tests, meaning we didn't learn anything much of value. #nt2t
A3: #FormativeAssessment does not need to be formally graded. I love using quick quizzes or surveys to gauge how the student is performing. This helps my instruction, and it helps the student self-assess. #nt2t@quizizz
It is true that tech can be both a blessing and a curse, but also that it's here to stay. I think the best thing is to start with one tool and use it consistently so that you know it well. I recommend @GetKahoot to get started, it's very intuitive! #NT2t
Another tick I'd add to the win column for standards-based approaches: opportunities to retest/retake on the way to mastery. (Caveat: This upside comes w/complexity in managing people and gradebooks when not everyone is assessing the same thing at the same time.) #nt2t
A5) The ones that are hardest for me are the ones that my students have not bought into, or are struggling with. As with other assessments this also allows me to adjust the assessment to individuals needs at times. #NT2t
True. Those tests place too much importance on finishing tests on time. Not everyone is a speed writer, and most students can't write as fast as they think. I've underperformed in many such tests just because I was too worried about finishing on time. #nt2t
A5) while I've never had to use an assessment tool in the classroom, and I'm not sure which tool is most challenging, I think that the hardest part would be figuring out what to do if the technology didn't work. ANyone have any suggestions for what to do if that happens? #NT2t
I'd say yes and no. If by formative assessment you mean pencil/paper or online 'tests' then yes. If you are observering conferring and getting anecdotal feedback I'd say no. #nt2t
Me too. I feel the same about timed reading tests that check for comprehension. I'm like...what??? When I read for understanding my rate slows waaayyyyy down! #NT2t
Please pause for a word from this devil's advocate: Might paper & pencil be one option in universally-designed learning world if those tools create worthy picture for some? #nt2t
Yes, I could see that getting complicated, but it does seem like it would be better outcome for students! I think my struggle was how to teach/remediate students in certain concepts while others were more than ready to move on. #NT2t
#NT2t A5: I have not had experience with this yet, but I would probably struggle with not knowing bring able to transition quickly if tech doesn't work or something doesn't go as planned. I'm sure that will come with experience and having back up plans.
A6: My secret weapon is keeping up with the trends! When I student taught my use of relevant memes the students were more motivated to learn and it stuck with them! #nt2t Be a teacher of imact!! #nationalsuperheroday
Yes. To understand what I'm reading, I have to read word for word. And that varies from student to student. No test should force students to conform in the name of so-called equality. #nt2t
A6) I think it is important that students know the reason for #assessment. If they can see how the information is useful in their life outside the classroom, they will be much more motivated and engaged #nt2t
A6: I think you can keep students engaged by doing fun methods of assessments, like games, or technology based. I think you could also add in an assentive, if they stay engaged and try hard then you can have a free day at the end of the week. #nt2t
A6: I have targeted study guides for tests that generally inform the students of the topics, but not the details. They have to find those on their own (from their notes or text). Haha I like to remind them: “that’s called studying.” #nt2t
Definitely! I try and provide a few choices of projects that in the end will show their understanding, sometimes they get caught up in the semantics or what they are or are not successful at ie...they are not good at drawing, but I am not an art teacher. Draw stick figures! #nt2t
A6: I think a great way to keep students engaged when it comes to assessment is using tech, trying to stay relevant, and making sure students know the reason to what they are learning #NT2t
A6: I would keep students engaged by including ideas or themes in an assessment that they have interest in. Students having interest in them could motivate them more to complete it and do well on it. @barbersclass#barberclass#nt2t
Challenge: Your challenge as a super T this week is to implement a new type of assessment discussed in the chat. Share how it goes using #nt2t#NationalSuperheroDay
A5: I would say I find T/F assessments to be the most difficult to use. I find it hard to balance between forming questions that will not trick the students, but that will separate the students who know the information from the students who did not prepare for the test #nt2t
A6: Superheroes engage through dialogue, enthusiasm, and actions. Switching things up and being excited about a simple topic can create a positive environment. Showing interest can create a ripple of interest in your Ss. #nt2t#NationalSuperheroDay We can do it too!
A6: For other types of assessment, I’ve been experimenting with student choice. Giving the students even a small say in their assessment/assignment can lead to engagement and buy-in. #nt2t
You've put finger on another aspect of messy complication... What extensions might look like for those who are ready to move on. Since we're dealing in analogies this morning: plate-spinning comes to mind. And the more students learn to manage their own plates, the better! #nt2t
A6: For other types of assessment, I’ve been experimenting with student choice. Giving the students even a small say in their assessment/assignment can lead to engagement and buy-in. #nt2t
What do you all think of teachers having students correct each other's assessments? Do you think that helps students understand their fellows better and learn as a group?
#nt2t
I dream of students being able to self-manage and be independent...working with 1st grade, that's something I tend to see in the last half or quarter of the year. Before then, a lot of plates get dropped. :( #NT2t
Please give a shout-out to super-teachers @alexis_pln1 and @jordyn_pistilli for taking the lead and creating this wonderful #NT2t chat today! So proud of our upcoming educators!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
