Hello! Melissa principal from AZ kindness is coming together to help each other this pic is from our fine arts night, our art teacher had each student in the school create a feather #mnlead
A1: Talk to them, be honest in your intention. An attentive listener is one that is there and present not thinking about the next thing. That is how I show the conversation matters. #mnlead#curiositycrew
A1. Take the time to greet them at the door, have lunch with them, dance party at recess and build a personal relationship with students, parents and staff. #MNLEAD
A1 - I tell them! Everyday when students enter the building I say, “good morning and wish them a happy day.” Also, our actions speak to our kindness. Smiling, hand shakes and general gestures of positivity make a difference. For parents, I call them to say kind words. #mnlead
A1: Being observant of others is one of our expectations @CentralCabotpK4. We work hard to tap into the emotions of others so we can celebrate, listen, mourn, empathize, etc. #mnlead
I tell my kids I love them! I always share resources with my colleagues and willing to lend a helping hand. I also support all my students in their extracurricular activities . #mnlead
A1 I give the children in my classroom a voice as much as possible. We start our day with morn meeting where we take time to talk to one another and share both our good things and sometimes our sad things. And I tell them and show them all the time how much I love them. #mnlead
Let's fire up a great big #mnlead welcome to all our participants tonight! Looks like #mnlead is stepping up to #SBLII status for Minnesota. So glad to have so many of you here.
A1: Kindness means caring. Build a compassionate school one classroom at a time. Get to know everyone by name: every child, every teacher, every parent and every staff member. Everyone matters as part of the community. #mnlead
A1: We cannot be afraid to tell people we love them. Even in the workplace, love must live at the center of the organization. It is a #JoyfulLeaders requirement! #mnlead
Sometimes with cake.... Other times with volunteering to help, being silly, dance breaks, listening, singing loudly in the hallways, and as always, asking questions to empower all those around you. #mnlead
A1: I make sure I have authentic conversations about their lives, I say “hi” to the shy ones, or the ones who have had a difficult day, week, etc. #MNlead
A1: I try to use a student’s name each time I pass them in the hallway & say hello! There’s such power in that! Also, birthdays! Whenever possible, I try to acknowledge everyone’s bday! #MNLead#KindnessMatters
A1) Take lots of pics of students in working hard in classroom, awesome lessons by teachers, and post to Instagram/Twitter. Also, just like @PrincipalFrench, make a daily #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay. #mnlead
A1: Voice matters - here's a graphic of The Continuum of Voice graphic by @sylviaduckworth adapted from research report “Motivation, Engagement, & Student Voice” by Toshalis & Nakkula from @StudentcCntrHub with updated content at https://t.co/IEQA7Zq2H5#mnlead
A1 First of all, let them know they matter. It happens in words and actions. I never apologize for going overboard when celebrating successes of S's and staff. It's a big deal and we need to show it. #mnlead
A1 Trying to take time to listen and show interest in what is happening. Students, especially need to know we are interested in the things they are doing. #mnlead
A1: Take time to get to know them. If we are coming from a weekend, I typically ask them how their weekend was. Get to know their life stories-acknowledge they exist and that you are happy to see them at school. #MNLead
#MNlead I just realized I answered a question in a group I don’t know! Who are you lovely people? Is this an open educator chat? Will you forgive me that I just burst in? 😁
A1: At the end of the quarter my students fill out reflections where they shout out a student in class that has helped them. From letting them borrow a pencil to helping understand a concept, they recognize one another ❤️ #MNlead
A1: Be genuine. Care about your school family. Make coming to school AMAZING! I sometimes pride myself on over communicating. Always find the positive! #MNlead
Hello! Melissa principal from AZ kindness is coming together to help each other this pic is from our fine arts night, our art teacher had each student in the school create a feather #mnlead
A2: I am not currently aware of anything that we are doing. I see great potential on the horizon. Plans are starting. #MNlead In the past I had a great group of elementary kids that raised money for needs in and out of our community...looking back to move forward.
A1: Really listen to each child and hear what they are really saying. Practice Active Listening - Here are 10 Tips for Active Listening https://t.co/UlCCEag5Cw#mnlead
A2.2: I have my students write a thank you to a teacher at the end of each year! A pick me up at the end of the year feels so great when we are all tired! :) #mnlead
A2: This is our kindness garden @CentralCabotpK4. If people need some encouragement, they can take a rock. They can also add one to the garden. Each child in our school contributed. Thanks to @BarbaraGruener for the inspiration! #mnlead#CEunited
A2; We worked with another school in our province and sold xmas ornaments that Ss created and 3D printed for our local Children's Hospital @IWKHealthCentre#mnlead
Both the school I work at (PI) and school my kids attend (Byron) have community service days where they help out in their communities. It is fun to talk to my kids to hear what they've done after those days! #MNlead
A2) Student Council did a food drive before Christmas Break and donated to local pantries to help families. Staff did Thankful Thursday's in November. Celebrated World Kindness Day with positive sticky notes. Also have an Easter surprise coming!! #mnlead
A2: I work with teachers and, unfortunately, don't have my own class anymore. But I see #kindness in so many schools where teachers are making a positive impact. It's all about using #empathy, getting to know the kids, showing you care. Build a positive culture #mnlead
A1. Take the time to greet them at the door, have lunch with them, dance party at recess and build a personal relationship with students, parents and staff. #MNLEAD
A2: Due to huracane Maria, we have had an increase of PR residents come to the CLE area, my AP students and I have been going to tutor at an elementary school to help these students with culture shock and with school work #MNlead
A2: Meet and greet students and staff in the hallway. I’ve learned from @OscarUribe90 to also set high, attainable expectations where you always put others before you. When Ss or Ts need tech support, I am there to assist. Their concerns are my top concerns. #MNLead
A2Our school hashtag is #ownyourimpact. Search it and you will see the difference being made all day every day in our school. Our amazing principal has led this mission this year and the Ts are truly owning it. Engagement, relationships, learning. Awesome to be a part of. #mnlead
I don't work with students directly anymore either, but I will think it's important to show #kindness and build community among staff as well. Sometimes tough to do this time of the year! #MNlead
A2: I provide seasonal wraps for the students at my school, from the community service efforts of my Sorority , ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA SORORITY INC , I celebrate my students success and positive behaviors with classroom surprises. #mnlead
A2: I am not currently aware of anything that we are doing. I see great potential on the horizon. Plans are starting. #MNlead In the past I had a great group of elementary kids that raised money for needs in and out of our community...looking back to move forward.
A2: Our school recently completed a kindness challenge. Students wrote encouraging letters to other staff and students. To support Parkland, they shared 17 compliments with other people in their lives. In the fall, our school supported Cunningham Middle School in Houston. #mnlead

A2. We try to celebrate each day with our students and staff. We have ROAR tickets for positive acknowledgements from staff to students. Check out the #wyomingway and you will see all the great things happening at our school. #MNlead
A3: My daily thing is just asking how people are doing, kids, coworkers, whoever. Taking the time in the hallway to say hello and asking kids that think they are hiding how they are doing goes a long way. #MNlead
A2: I ran a Secret Santa for the staff at my school for the first time this year! It was a blast! Staff filled out a survey about themselves and brought small gifts with a clue about themselves for a week. I had elves deliver every day for a week. #MNlead
A2 Our school does daily meditation, where Sts meditate and reflect on acts of respect and kindness they have seen recently and give a shout-out to peers who have shown these qualities recently, powerful peer feedback #mnlead
A3: I LOVE getting to be one of the first and last faces kids see at @Simmonsknights1. I meet them on their way to class and say good bye on their way to the bus. #mnlead
A3) Hopefully smiles, high fives, personal conversations, and being in the halls, classrooms, lunch room, etc make a daily impact. #principalsinaction#mnlead
Q2 Kindness starts with this guy. Sèamus comes to our school everyday. He spread kindness to EVERY kid in our building. No judgement, only love and desire to be pet and acknowledged.Having him in our building settles students, spreads joy and build community. #mnlead
A3. I do my best to have a positive attitude and show kindness to others. I make a point to stop in the hallways to talk/listen to students and staff! #mnlead

A3 I talk kindness and empathy wherever I go and try to model. Always reminding my students to choose kind and think of others. I hope it makes an impression that is lasting. #mnlead
A3: everyday I like to end the day with letting my students know what we will cover the next lesson and I always say “make good choices” and fist bump 👊🏽 on the way out. When I don’t do it, the students remind me. It’s the best ❤️#MNlead
Q2 Kindness starts with this guy. Sèamus comes to our school everyday. He spread kindness to EVERY kid in our building. No judgement, only love and desire to be pet and acknowledged.Having him in our building settles students, spreads joy and build community. #mnlead
A3 - I love my job❤️ Spreading a positive message to students and staff is easy when you enjoy coming to work. Being happy is contagious. Students thrive on a message of happy. #mnlead
A3: Smiles, high fives...they change lives, as #momsasprincipals say! Selfies with kids make them feel valued and loved. Sharing them with families and on SM makes for happiness all around. #mnlead#CEunited
It can be done! We got the approval from our school board, figured out how to deal with allergies. It's our first year and is making a difference! #mnlead
A2) Help our Ss, Ts, parents, and home schools see the growth & skill development our Ss have worked so hard to achieve. (Setting IV school for Ss with behavioral challenges)
A3 Ts at our school stand at the classroom door to greet each S as they arrive. It's a chance to check in with them and get a read for how they are feeling. If you can tell it's already been a bad morning, it's an opportunity to pull them to the side and talk about it. #mnlead
@SmithteachesK Thanks for the shout out! #OwnYourImpact as a mindset, a hashtag, and a mission has changed so much for teachers and students at BES. #mnlead
A3: If you know me, I giggle a lot and love to laugh with you. I love your stories and cannot wait to learn more about how you spread #kindness and #joy. #mnlead
A3: Smiles, high fives...they change lives, as #momsasprincipals say! Selfies with kids make them feel valued and loved. Sharing them with families and on SM makes for happiness all around. #mnlead#CEunited
She came to me and said she wanted to do something for our school. She wanted to start a group that made people happy! I hooked her up with our service committee, she wrote a proposal and kindness heroes was born! #studentVoice. #mnlead
Yes - and I love this lady @bethhill2829 had a conversation with her (podcast on the way) and did a lot of giggling. Definitely, learn more about what she is doing at her school and with #JoyfulLeaders#mnlead
A3: Smiles, high fives...they change lives, as #momsasprincipals say! Selfies with kids make them feel valued and loved. Sharing them with families and on SM makes for happiness all around. #mnlead#CEunited
A3: Working hard to try to be fully present when someone comes in to share a concern, ask a question or for a pick me up chat. Also always acknowledging the excellence that others are achieving. #mnlead
A2. We try to celebrate each day with our students and staff. We have ROAR tickets for positive acknowledgements from staff to students. Check out the #wyomingway and you will see all the great things happening at our school. #MNlead
A1. I am able to share the amazing things students and staff are doing in our district! We use #742proud to share our work! I am also a fan of handwritten letters. #mnlead
A4: I don't think this needs to be a big thing. Just pointing out awesome goes a long way. Today a student came up to talk to me about their poetry at church, I told them a different poem I had read of theirs was awesome. Small stuff #mnlead
A3 - Generally speaking, spreading kindness is an intrinsic trait that you want all staff and students to model. Not all do, but by leading with actions and words, it is possible to top the scales. #mnlead
A4: We have a theme each year, this year it is “With all your heart” here Ts and Ss nominated by Ss get recognized in front of the whole school each month for living and doing things “with all their heart” @thebigO24 won last month 🙏🏽 #MNlead
A4 this year I started putting pictures from classrooms in my weekly newsletter to staff, this allows our school to see each other’s strengths, get ideas and get a glimpse into the bigger picture #mnlead
A4 We have a Dog Pound Assembly (it's a good thing to be in the Dog Pound!) once a month to celebrate students, we also have an art gallery and a wall of fame in our lobby. #mnlead
A3: I sing. A lot. And dance. I walk around with my fake microphone asking random questions like, why are there no pink storm troopers? What tricks should I teach non pooping, non shedding bird? I try to make connections with many ss, not just the ones I serve. #MNlead
A3 - Generally speaking, spreading kindness is an intrinsic trait that you want all staff and students to model. Not all do, but by leading with actions and words, it is possible to top the scales. #mnlead
A4: Here's what several educators have told me they do on a regular basis: send notes home sharing how wonderful their child was today; have lunch with a different Ss each day; come up with a special handshake -- just a few ideas because #kidsdeserveit#mnlead
A2. I do my best to create and share as many opportunities as possible. I enjoy learning with others. Creating and sharing learning opportunties for students and adults is something that I think about every day! #mnlead
A4: We had a shout out board in the office for teachers. We also do "Got Caught" tickets for Ss. If their ticket is drawn, the student gets a pass & the teacher gets a jeans day! Win-win #mnlead
A4 - Similar to other answers, it’s about being daily with your habits. Kindness isn’t a one day and forget it thing. We do a reflection everyday on something happy and kind. #mnlead
A4: I make a point of saying, “I am proud of you!” to students each & every day! It’s hard to be a kid... I want them to know that I see them, hear them, believe them! #MNLead
A4 Our principal gives us the opportunity to submit Soaring Shoutouts to recognize other staff members. We submit on a Google form and then she includes it in the weekly newsletter. Such an easy way to encourage and celebrate others. #mnlead
She came to me and said she wanted to do something for our school. She wanted to start a group that made people happy! I hooked her up with our service committee, she wrote a proposal and kindness heroes was born! #studentVoice. #mnlead
A4: I don't think this needs to be a big thing. Just pointing out awesome goes a long way. Today a student came up to talk to me about their poetry at church, I told them a different poem I had read of theirs was awesome. Small stuff #mnlead
A4: I see a lot of shout out or staff appreciation awards. As a recipient of them I loved it. Those that don't get recognized though it is hurtful. How do we get around that? #mnlead
A4: Expressing gratitude is HUGE...sometimes the things we do are thankless...we need to remember to express our gratitude for the little things and the big things. #mnlead
A4. We recognize Shining Knights for living out core values. We announce in the morning and they were their shield for the day. The shield includes why they were nominated and others are encouraged to ask about why they were selected. #MNLEAD
A4 We use @ClassDojo as a school economy for respect and kindness points. Classes and school get rewards when they reach certain milestones. Top students and classes are recognised constantly in class and yard #mnlead
It works for ALL kids. At recess, kids are so willing to play w kids they normally would not when the dog is out there. He helps us teach social skills along with kindness. #mnlead
A4 this year I started putting pictures from classrooms in my weekly newsletter to staff, this allows our school to see each other’s strengths, get ideas and get a glimpse into the bigger picture #mnlead
A4: We share good news every morning. We celebrate with each other and get sxcited for each other. We also share any random acts of kindess we have done. #MNlead
A5: I feel like this is the culmination of it all but being there to form the connections. All the little actions, helping out, being a listening ear or a collaborative partner. It all builds towards a positive smile filled culture in the building. #mnlead
A5: By doing things differently. Different opportunities, different ways to show your work, the ability for Ss to make choices, amazing what some responsibility and choice will do for a students self esteem #mnlead
A5: I feel like this is the culmination of it all but being there to form the connections. All the little actions, helping out, being a listening ear or a collaborative partner. It all builds towards a positive smile filled culture in the building. #mnlead

A5: I made it my goal last year to say 'hi' or 'good morning' to everyone I passed in the hallway. Not everyone responded right away, but eventually they knew I was going to greet them regardless. I've continued that on to this year, #MNlead
Q5 Being silly. I love to sing and I will just make up random songs to start singing directions. Or I pretend to be the host of the Price is Right. Dance along on brain breaks. The kids always crack up. Benefits of being a K teacher, they think you are hilarious. #mnlead
A5: I reach out to different educators and am trying to share how they are encouraging #kindness and #joy in their classrooms and schools. Writing, tweeting, and doing what I can to share the awesomeness happening in schools. #mnlead

I really appreciate everyones participation tonight. A little scary stepping in last minute. It helps that @NowakRo had the Q's ready for me to canva up. Lets all send him some positive healing vibes. #MNlead

A6: My mission is simple, to matter for all my students. A Prof told me once, "Brent you can't be every students white knight." My response was "I can try" and I do everyday. #mnlead
It’s funny though. So many ed twitter chats deal with relationships, kindness, respect, etc.. sometimes I wonder if this gets lost on certain people. #MNlead
A6 First the Heart (soul), then the mind. Learning happens under the light of relationships and connections. Happy children learn. Happy teachers=happy kids. #MNlead
A5 I often like to put on obscure songs, or songs from my youth & sing or dance... or both... as students walk in. Some are concerned for my wellbeing, some simply laugh, others start singing along and dancing. #mnlead
Don't be afraid to make fun of yourself. It's ok.

A5: Always smiling. Lots of giggling. Love to dance. Play. Never grow old and act young. If we can just have fun, model fun, just imagine the #joy that will happen. #mnlead
A4: At the end of the day I show staff and Ss that I have not forgotten them by making a final announcement, thanking everyone for being the best they could be, and I remind Ss to thank their teachers and anyone else who helped them have a good day. #mnlead
A6: my mission is just to be a bridge for my students between who they are now and who they will become in the 9 months we have together, I want them to know that they matter #MNlead
Thanks #MNlead !
I am Heather Joy from upstate New York. I currently teach upk-6th grade music and movement, band, lessons, chorus, k-1 music & even a little p.e.! I am supposed to be working on my dissertation but I needed an inspiration break! Thanks for kindly welcoming me!
A6: My mission is to make every Ss feel valued and that they can succeed. I want them to be thinkers and problem solvers, not robots in the room #mnlead
A6 Sts won't always remember what you said, but they'll remember how you made them feel. My mission is to constantly model kindness, respect and empathy towards Sts and see this be paid forward to each other #MNlead
Yes! Strengthening relationships with our students is essential for optimal academic, social and emotional growth! It was such a joy to share about our kindness Passion Projects on you podcast! #mnlead#rethink_learning
A3 #mnlead Students easily pick up on teachers who are caring and sincerely interested in them as young adults... not just students. They can see through when people are faking it. Being present for them, in the halls, welcoming them as they come to school, etc. It all helps.
A6: I decided to start over. Think about it if you had to start over, what would your mission be? I decided to learn something new every day, share what I learn, have conversations with awesome people. Telling the stories about your passion and purpose to define your WHY #mnlead
A6 - Mantra - Everyday is the chance to make the day of a child a little better and brighter.
Lead by example. Promote positivity and kindness. #mnlead
A6: I want ss to not want to be absent because they’ll miss all the fun. I want them to feel safe and cared for in every way. I want my classroom to be a place where they forget about their stress for 48 minutes. I want to see the longing in the eyes of my former ss #MNlead
A6 My mission has never wavered in 46 years. To be the very best I can’t be. I may not be able to control what is going on around me but I can ALWAYS be the best person and teacher that I can be. No exceptions! #MNLEAD
Yes! Strengthening relationships with our students is essential for optimal academic, social and emotional growth! It was such a joy to share about our kindness Passion Projects on you podcast! #mnlead#rethink_learning
A1 #mnlead Our WEB students introduced a "Teacher of the Month" component to our middle school. Students can nominate a teacher for numerous different things. Just like students need a good compliment, teachers do too, and it goes a long way!
A6 My mission is to build relationships with my students first and foremost. Once I have relationships, then it is my mission to create engaging lessons that will lead to developing a passion for learning that can never be extinguished. #mnlead
A6: my mission is just to be a bridge for my students between who they are now and who they will become in the 9 months we have together, I want them to know that they matter #MNlead
The other day, I was playing @barenakedladies#SnackTime when they all came in to class. It was amazing seeing them question what was going on, and then 20 seconds later, they are all naming their favorite snacks... smiling the entire time. #mnlead
A7 A visitor would feel and experience the love. They would feel that all students truly care for each other and want what is best. Respect lives within the caring. #MNlead
A6: I'm in this for the long run and I'll never retire. It's all about the kids. I'm so proud of the kids that are marching for their lives. They will be the ones who make a difference because it is their future. It's our job to help them advocate for themselves #mnlead
A7 Kindness & peace isn’t what we add into a schedule slot. We only have it when we LIVE it across the learning day and beyond. It’s not a goal but a way of life. And that can create a kindness ripple effect like no other! ❤️ #MNLEAD

A7. I teach lessons on the importance of hospitality. We want guests to feel seen when they come to our school. They should leave feeling better than when they came. Smile, say hello, introduce yourself. #MNLead
A7: They would be greeted by everyone they pass! We are known for this @CentralCabotpK4! They will get lots of smiles and hellos. I have a hard time passing anyone in the hall without making eye contact and smiling. #mnlead
A7 I hope we model kindness, love, and respect. Our bulletin boards and student-made posters show that. We have students that struggle with kindness and empathy, but we are always trying. #mnlead
A6 #mnlead My goal is to provide educational experiences for my students. There is no reason why we can't make our lessons in the class hands on, interactive & engaging. But the learning opportunities should not stop just because the bell rings.
A7: They would be greeted by everyone they pass! We are known for this @CentralCabotpK4! They will get lots of smiles and hellos. I have a hard time passing anyone in the hall without making eye contact and smiling. #mnlead
A7: Visitors would see kids that treat other students and teachers with respect regardless of color, beliefs, gender, etc. It's not always neat and perfect, but like any family, love is a centerpiece. The @Simmonsknights1 family loves well. #mnlead
That’s when you look for the kind-hearted people to build your kindness tribe and ask about the ways they cultivate kindness in others. Those who have a #passionforkindness will shine like the stars! #mnlead
A7: Let your kids be the tour guides for the visitors. I love it when the kids are proud of their school and tell you what they love about it - why they are learning. I've had kid tour guides and it just touched my heart #mnlead
A7. When we have a group of visitors for the day. Special person day, Central office, Ts and principals from other schools, I remind Ss and staff to be hospitable and we play Be Our Guest on the PA system. #MNLead
A7: My heart swells when I see a student hold a door for someone else, pick up a piece of trash, smile at someone new, or offer to help someone carry something. Little actions make big differences! #MNlead
A7: My heart swells when I see a student hold a door for someone else, pick up a piece of trash, smile at someone new, or offer to help someone carry something. Little actions make big differences! #MNlead
A7 They would see it from the moment they walked in our door. Joy, welcome spirit from students and staff and positivity are shown to all who walk in our door. School is our place to welcome our community. It's an extension of our community. #mnlead
A7) I think people new to our Setting notice how we talk to our students and to each other. Just had 2 new staff start this week “everyone is so positive“ #mnlead
A7: There is just a feeling in a building where kindness is a priority. Not just a poster on a wall or a "cute" pintrest bulletin board where our acts of kindness are pinned. It is the energy that I think can be felt that matters. THat comes from authentic kindness. #mnlead
A7: Make sure you have student work instead of commercial posters on the walls. Let visitors see real learning happening. I visited @TeamAnastasis in CO and got to sit with kids while they were working. Authentic experience as a learner with a learner #mnlead
A7: One morning I was out front greeting kids. I went to the door to walk in about the time a little boy got to the door. I motioned for him to go. He said, 'I can't do it, Mrs. Hill. You're a woman, and women always go in the door first." :) #mnlead
A7 I think they would see it in the relationships throughout the school. You might see 5th graders walking kinders to lunch or hearing my Ss telling each other, "I know you can do it." Sometimes when I think about how special our school is, it brings tears to my eyes. #mnlead
I really appreciate everyones participation tonight. A little scary stepping in last minute. It helps that @NowakRo had the Q's ready for me to canva up. Lets all send him some positive healing vibes. #MNlead
A7 #mnlead Whenever we have a guest come in, we welcome them in and either show them what we are doing, or immediately engage them and invite them to actively participate. Students interact w/them right away. The smiles pop up almost immediately. #Respect
We play it on the PA system or I’ll dance through the hallways with my megaboom pblasting Be Our Guest. My dancing makes people smile...not bc I’m a good dancer. #mnlead
I ordered some very special sticky notes with encouraging phrases on them...a quick way to let someone know I am thining about them...sign them with my signature "H" and a heart! #mnlead
Haha! Your response made this Momma’s heart so happy! It’s tough balancing home and passions sometimes. Luckily, I spent 3 hours with the middle child today for Pokémon Community Day so all kiddos are happy! #mnlead
The best thing about a random act of kindness is that you never really know how it will rise to the surface. I’m going to keep my eyes open for a foot in the kindness door (which is open more than not) ❤️ #MNLEAD
Had to break away from #mnlead for a little bit to deal with an unkind child. Rough day. Took time to talk, not yell, and listen to her. Ended with a hug and letting her know that she is loved.
Hey #mnlead! Hit spring break with #122edchat this Wednesday at 7 Central. @RealMrsBentley and @MrsAtkus will be taking you on an educational adventure of a lifetime!

A7 cont. #mnlead This is why I also try to tweet from my classroom as much as I can. I want others 2c what my students are doing. Learning doesn't just happen w/in the 4 walls of the classroom. It opens up possibilities for my students & those outside to learn WITH us. #CHCougars
Challenge - I sang Ramble On fron Led Zeppelin the other day on instagram. The kids cracked up. My voice is horrible. Going to sing Simple Man from Lynryd Skynyrd this week. Make kids laugh and cry at the same time. #mnlead
My Random Act of Kindness is to publish more of the conversations I had for my #podcasthttps://t.co/HO5MhPK9pd. I'm way behind and so blessed to have this opportunity to talk about their purpose for learning with so many awesome educators #mnlead
A6: My mission to continue to learn so I can create engaging and flexible frameworks that provide voice and choice for all types of learners to grow from where they are! #mnlead
Now, I can't vouch for what admin does with that info, but I want them to see (&they need to see, because they can't be everywhere) the amazing things my colleagues are doing. I want my colleagues to know they are getting that praise too. It is so easy to do. #mnlead
Wow! What an uplifting discussion in #mnlead tonight! Thanks to @NowakRo for the awesome questions, and for @mrbgilson for running the show! Teamwork makes the dream work. :)
It starts with my family this week. My Father in law just got out of a 14 day stay at @MayoClinic. We have had to adjust our lives to supporting him. Positivity and flexibility are our key characteristics in the upcoming future. #mnlead
I’ve been doing this now in ms for 2 years. It took a while, but even at 730 on a cold, rainy Monday morning I get lots of fist bumps, high fives, and good mornings #mnlead
#MNlead My random act of kindnessing entering another busy week is to assume positive intentions. Everyone seems to be a bit stressed right now. Time to see the good.
