A1: I have 6 school iPads (1st gen) and five chrome books. Plus, 7 iPad minis from @DonorsChoose and 1 iPad 2 from my mommy #dojochat So about 1:2 ratio
A2 PTA gave us some money for the mini ipads, but the Chromebooks were from the school and we were "trialing" the 1:1 as they attempted to push it out to all classes, we were lucky! #dojochat
A2.2 Also, I had a Samsung tablet before all this tech my dad gave me because he didn't use it. I LOVED that thing before getting better tech, ha! #dojochat
A2: If you feel like you need more tech definitely try @DonorsChoose I started with 1 or 2 iPads at a time. Projects w lower price are more likely to get funded and picked up by sponsors. #dojochat
A3 Lately I have been using @zearned a lot in math! It's great if you follow common core standards in math! They also have printable worksheets and I have students post those to @ClassDojo. #appsmash#dojochat
A1: Technology is regularly integrated into instruction. This is the second year that we have been fortunate enough to have a one-to-one iPad ratio. There are also two computer labs in the school that can be reserved for classroom use. #dojochat
A4 I used a lot of the Google apps, I liked that my students could write a doc, share it with me, and I could work collaboratively with them in real time. #dojochat
A4: @Buncee can be a good tool writing. It's like powerpoint but fancy and kid friendly. Ss can create books using text and SAFE image searching. #dojochat
A4 I really like @WriteAboutThis! I only use the free version, but the paid one looks great too! I had my students last year type their writing, then record themselves reading it on @aurasma.<--- you need to check this app out if you haven't! #appsmash#dojochat
I am a US History High School teacher who has recently been given a class set of iPads. Any tips would be appreciated as far as favorite apps. #cuiedtech#dojochat

A7 @ClassDojo Student Stories. ππ» I like to teach my students how to screen shot different apps they are using, then post those pictures so parents can see what they are working on in tech! #appsmash#dojochat
A8 I was always hesitant to use social media apps with students, that's why I love Class Story and School Story, to share those moments with families and involve them in the classroom culture even if they couldn't physically be in the classroom #dojochat
A8 I feel like @ClassDojo is an appropriate form of social media! Our Class Story feels like a Facebook page, but without all the drama π. #dojochat
A8: I send pics to my principal to post on School FB. I also had parents sign a release form to post our awesomeness on my personal twitter and facebook. Ps always have the option to say no to posting their child on my social media w no questions asked. #dojochat
A8 I have never personally done it, but I was at an EdCamp where there was a discussion about using SnapChat in the classroom. You can use it offline and just save the pictures. The students really liked the filters! #dojochat
A9 I am hoping to try iMovie with my students this year! They will need to use multiple apps to record and document their learning, then put it all together in iMovie! #dojochat
App smashing can be hard with our little ones. They need a lot of visual directions and guidance. We're still working on uploading @ChatterPixIt to seesaw independently and we've been chatterpixing a while. #dojochat π
A8. I feel that the Class Story feature of #ClassDojo is the best way for me to bring social media in the classroom! Parents get to see photos and videos in a smaller secure setting. #dojochat
