    A3: I can think of so many ways that we promote safety in the EC classroom but I always loved using the @ConsciousD safekeeper rituals. This supports making safe choices, positive behavior, and a safe classroom climate. #ecechat

    A3: Safety is a big part of @ConsciousD which we use. Ss need to feel safe to learn. We talk each day about how the T keeps them safe; Ss keep our classroom safe and ask Ss the ways they can do it. Safety is always part of our daily promise. #ecechat

    A3 The first step I take to make my Ss feel safe is making the Ss in classroom feel at home when they are at school. I want my Ss to know me as a person who cares for them & loves them. I find that once they understand that, they begin to trust me. #ecechat

    A4. Being in a K-5 elementary school has also allowed the PreK students to better connect with the rest of the district - both thru my own experiences as a teacher connecting with K-5 teachers, but also Ss connecting with K-5 classrooms. #ECEChat
