    A1 #tlap My summer #MDASTEM training in VA was a highlight. I saw lots of cool things,, like the inside of a naval ship, and got to have lunch with @MrPStrunk and his lovely wife @LBStrunk!

    Attending #ISTE18 was a once in a lifetime experience. I met so many people from my PLN like @jmattmiller @tamaraletter @TaraMartinEDU @ShakeUpLearning @katiemartinedu @PearDeck & so many more! And was able to attend with a team of educators from my district #tlap

    A1: Not a school memory, but a family memory. My boys are 7 and 9 and I had a rough day with them, just chaos. I thought the day went horrible. I asked the boys how the day went and they said amazing! It was all about perspective. They taught me a life lesson. #tlap

    #TLAP Joining from Maine. Kindergarten-2 mixed age class. A1. Memory- I organized a beach clean up @ a local piece of shoreline. As a school we removed 600 lbs of trash! Yes- mostly plastic. All ages working together was AMAZING

    #tlap A3 I started a new position. Went from a K-2 school I'd only been at for 3 years and was just getting comfortable in to a preK-8 school. I wouldn't say I overcame it yet but everything is a work in progress. And I mostly have a handle on MUNIS so that's a big win.

    #TLAP A5.Weekly portfolios and we have a daily Reflection time added into the schedule.A time to chat about topics decides by the students. We also spend a great deal of time Outdoors & have Sit Spots in the woods where children spend 10 mins drawing or writing in their journal

    A5 I use “Warm Ups” at the start of class that figure out what “stuck” or just feedback to drive the day instruction. Same with “Exit Slips” at the end. I always do a “Meeting” after the warm up to discuss “what’s good?” and to reflect on learning as a class. #tlap

    I also try not to check work email (unless it’s announced) more than three times a day. Research shows it’s a massive productivity killer. So, once in the AM, once at lunch, once before I leave. If it’s super important, they’ll ask us to check/a parent will call. #tlap

    Yes- my breaking point was when I got an email that ruined my mood... right when I was about to go to sleep! Some people do their work/responses late at night, but it doesn’t mean that email is urgent. #tlap
