#aussieED was founded on the belief that all teachers, and students, should have unlimited access to Professional Development, on their own terms, to improve their teaching, their schools and change the lives of the students they encounter. Since then, we have embarked on a mission to reach educators, not only in Australia but, all around the globe. We want to smash the barriers that prevent teachers from easily connecting and learning with each other. To that end, we have developed a regular Ed-chat each Sunday on twitter at #aussieED. The chat allows all teachers, leaders, administrators and all those connected with education to meet on an unbiased platform and discuss the real issues that effect what happens in classrooms everywhere. Our chats are authentic because we are real teachers walking the same walk that so many do everyday.

I'm wondering if any teacher actually wants "eyes in the back of their head"? For me it's definitely slow down time. But realistically, I want to pump out some great projects that are effective and make a positive difference for students. Simple stuff. #aussieED

- will it matter next week?
- will it matter in a month?

A7) Interpretive dance is always at the top of my list, until I remember I hate dancing. I still need to work on letting go of the things that I have zero control over. #aussieED
Mate I am a flat head! I love them. Did an information report on them as an example for my Year 1/2 class 2 years ago. The diagram I did is still is on my wall... It took 3 hours #aussieED

I am going to do my training to be an ‘assessor’ (don’t like the term) with TQI to really get into @aitsl Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher Certification #aussieED That way I get to meet some AWESOME teachers!!
Was interesting to talk to a person who recently finished their doctorate. I asked how they did it and survived... they said 5 crap sentences a day lots of research and data. They said that the last 12 months was easier because it was able to be polished and submitted #aussieED
