A1 TTESS is just now rolling out on campus. Although no mention of lib I'm making it work wherever the word "collaboration" appears

I'm struggling because goals seem very hush-hush and lesson plans can only be seen by admin now. It's hard to know how to help

A1: District librarians worked on goal setting this summer using framework for librarians.
I work for TAMUCC and am not evaluated by school district evaluation tool. I need to familiarize myself with it
How does framework align (or not) with T-TESS? I haven't looked from that viewpt
Q2: by helping find resources for lessons to supplement tchrs lessons.
A2: Librarians can include T-TESS tips in newsletters & at faculty meetings. They can help with achieving goals!

Q3 TSLAC standards revision committees are using TTESS a resource to help make new standards easily understood by admin. Advocacy.
A3 I send out a weekly reminder of available computers, ipads, chromebooks 2 push those who r not embracing active enriched lessons

A3 A lot of what I'm sharing/promoting now is the same I've always mentioned but now I say TTESS and suddenly ears perk up.
I use the T-TESS Dimensions and add a helpful tip for how to achieve that.

Just a little unexpected note of support in their mailbox will help them believe they can be all they want to be.
I started giving a simple certificate every time they collaborated w/me mentioning the TTESS domains they covered
celebrate an author birthday, get local grocery to donate a cake and invite teachers

Chocolate & a place to relax! I always opened my office for them to "hide" for a few minutes!
us not to Pinterest all over people so I try to wait until teachers ask for resources to fit a need
we hosted national choc day and got all sorts of choc donated. In general food=good
A3 remember TTESS is not only tech, but use of our Lib spaces in envigorating ways to encourage stretching S's thinking
A4 Be educated and knowledgeable about the instrument, offer resources & collaboration, serve as leaders that teach!

told us not to Pinterest all over people so now I try to limit my tips to the most beneficial and time saving

A4: Become familiar w/ the new tool. Analyze L services, projects, collaboration that meets some of T goals. Market your services
