ShiftinEdu is a summit for forward thinkers on November 9 and 10, 2017 in Miami. We gather thought leaders and educators from all over the world and empower them to be influencers in their own communities. The focus of the summit is to drive innovation in education through leveraging new methodologies and technologies in learning.

A1: "education equity" hard to define for me. But easy to see. Where are my Ss starting from? They are all going to end at the same cross line. Some need more to get there because there starting point is further back. #shiftinedu

.@SSEDSorg we have Choose2Matter days where all students have an opportunity to serve the greater community according to their passions. #HourofCode has been part of our learning as well and we see it throughout the curriculum now! Love it! #shiftinedu

A3: In my classroom equity looks like students taking charge of their learning and me being their guide. Switching btwn differentiation & personalized learning. Letting data help me to provide diff. resouces for diff. Ss. #ShiftInEdu

A4: Curriculum and School Culture must be modified in order to bring more #equity in #education. I believe that most Ts naturally want to gravitate towards more #equity. Admins must be on board! #ShiftInEdu.
