I got into edu because of something simple. I feel that in my spirit I was called to teach. Therefore I teach because i was called.

We are expecting snow/sleet/slush/freezing rain/etc. throughout the day. Not a single snowflake has landed yet!

Good morning . Stacey from NJ. In school today bc of our last snow day.

Why? As an engineer, we kept not being able to find people with the skills we needed for high paying jobs. Doing something about it.

I also got into teaching because I love the teenage mind. Not too critical, not too idealist.

I'm so lucky because I didn't choose teaching...it chose me. I've known since I was a child that I was meant to teach!

To see how someone learns a language because of me and my teaching makes me feel great

Big comic book nerd. My favorite characters were the sidekicks. They had potential. Adults were done cooking.

I got into teaching bc my 3rd gr T taught me what great teaching was. I have known pretty much since then.

Teaching is my 4th career- I teach what I could not have gone to school for, it didn't exist then. I feel so lucky.

My dad is the kind of guy who wants to know everything about everything. It gave me a sense of what Education can do.

Good morning I got into teaching by accident & then fell in love. Opened my own school to give Ss and Ts voice and choice.

True. Not everybody LOVEs their job but in teaching that can be detrimental.
