A2: I think the term โgoalโ is used haphazardly. When I make a goal, I make it a reality. Sometimes I think the word โgoalโ is used synonymously with โdesireโ or โhope.โ A goal to me is a serious destination. #engagechat

A2) In large part it is putting a time deadline on your dreams. It means you have thought through your vision, your specific mission within that vision, and have laid out the interim steps necessary to move you toward your vision while fulfilling your mission. #engagechat

A3: Reaching a goal is not a linear journey. Along the way there will be twists and turns. A leader who stands by his or her staff and believes in them no matter how rough the journey is is more likely to inspire staff to achieve a goal than one who blames. #engagechat

Giving up means you lose the feeling of fulfillment and pride. You miss the struggle and satisfaction. You miss knowing you can do it. These are all qualities of a growth mindset. #EngageChat When we lose our curiosity and open-mindedness we miss out on ingenuity and growth
