A1. I think it's so much more than just who you know. It's a combination of relationships combined with the growth mindset mentality. It really is any situation you can put yourself in to grow as an educator, whether it's 1:1, book study, or conference #rethink_learning

A1 PLNs are a chance fro me to find my "marigolds". A group of educators that share their💡s-I can 👂 & reflect on what I hear & also share my own thoughts. The validation is helpful but so are the deeper they ask ?s to help me really reflect on my practice.#rethink_learning

A3 I have to say that Twitter has been my main hub for a PLN as it offers people from around the world, with varying ideas different from my corner of the world. I also enjoy my local PLN for empathy. #rethink_learning

#rethink_learning A2 My PLN @InclusiveLN pushes me to alway improve and innovate. It proves that you can do SO much more (and learn more) together. I call it my Professional Zone of Proximal Development :)

A4 PLNs are great, but they can be overwhelming...having too many voices to listen to. Find like-minded people and start out slow enough to digest what you learn. Grow at your own pace. Reflect with others-the info you get from PLNs like Twitter. #rethink_learning

My #PLN helps me to continuously grow as educator. I’m able to research the latest topics, share information with like-minded people, and hear tested strategies I can implement in my classroom any time I wish! #rethink_learning
I agree, Barbara! I still become overwhelmed with Twitter chats, but I try to stretch myself with them because I know I am learning from all these great minds! #rethink_learning

A3 recently a PLN friend posted a vo-workers’s DONOR’s CHOOSE - and by the weekend in $5 and $10 -we had the project funded! The power of collaboration and caring about the kids!! #rethink_learning

Thanks, Mark. I think I needed to read this! I still get overwhelmed trying to keep up, find the question, read the answer, etc, etc. However, I do like stretching myself by participating! #rethink_learning

My PLN is a group,of people that I can go to when I have a question. We bounce questions off each other. We build each other up. They started as friends and have become family. #rethink_learning

A2 It plays a crucial part in growing us as educators. Even if your classroom is great there are always new and creative ways to stay fresh and improve learning outcomes. No teacher is perfect #rethink_learning
