We have people who have adopted us. This young man had a rough family life. He thinks of us as Mom and Dad.

I miss my chosen sister, Sue, every day. After knowing her for 33 years, she died of colon cancer in 2011.

When I had cancer, it was hard to go through it without her. But I managed. Weathered that storm.
