    One thing I realized is that even though Ss use a lot of tech, they are less versed in educational/every day use applications. We've had to teach kids things such as cutting and pasting and using tools to draw lines. That being said, they've taught me Minecraft :-). #LeadLAP

    A2: I have learned to implement more student design. My design doesn't get read or followed, so why put work into what gets overlooked? My students are now creating their own scoring guides. "How do I?" makes them more conscious of adequate work. #LeadLAP

    I use a #MasteryLearning approach in my class w/ @thegridmethod and Ss have a similar reaction at first. They struggle to be self driven learners at first- always waiting for me to dictate the next step or to just tell them how to do the work! We get there eventually! #LeadLAP

    A2: I was blessed with an admin who "grew me up" in the idea that we meet students where they are by any means necessary. Those means change as our students change, so we too must change. We must know them to grow them. AND have a large toolkit to serve them. #leadlap

    Last fall, we brought paper plates to faculty mtg & asked Ts to write down everything that was on their plates. We took the plates, organized by teams & reflected as an admin team what we could subtract (anything that didn't align w our vision.) Powerful activity for us. #LeadLAP

    I think this is a decision that school administrators can make, if the have autonomy. For teachers that don't, it is all about video and PLN. Nothing says the observations need to be real-time or place-based. #LeadLAP

    A5: We started instructional rounds this year and the teachers really enjoyed the interaction with their colleagues. As an admin I have long said observing is my fav part of my job. I encourage teachers to do this whenever they can #LeadLAP
