Hi #hacklearning! Aubrey, ed tech specialist in CO. After my first year in a year-round position, I'm missing the cycles of the school year (& especially the excitement of back to school)! It's not quite the same!
Morning, #hacklearning. I'm Brian. I teach middle-school students English in Colorado. Colleagues & I are back on the official clock tomorrow, 8/6; students join us one week later.
A1 There are lots of ways I prepare to return to school:
➫ Enjoy the last days of summer
➫ Collect resources for classroom
➫ Complete @DonorsChoose requests
➫ Develop PD that reinforces my summer learning
#HackLearning
A1 I spend August planning projects my students will fun meaningful. I know I’ll get better ideas based on students’ interests and my own discoveries. Still, my unit plans reflect my values & remind me of my values when I consider adjustments. #HackLearning
A1: Spending lots of time in August talking to educators in Twitter chats, on FB, @Voxer, and in person about what they need to improve #education in their space and on a global scale.

A1: Just had a great #InnovateBVSD conference last week, now getting new teachers oriented, planning PD, and rushing to get summer construction done (and everything else set up) ASAP! #HackLearning
A1. Reading blogs, books, and listening to podcasts. Watching the #HiveSummit videos. Most importantly, soaking up every bit of the time I can with my girl. #hacklearning
A1: I started carrying supplies in that I bought at Target, does that count? Haha this Twitter chat and a webinar with @GingerLewman is how I'm getting #B2S ready #HackLearning

A1: I've been back for a week already. Students return August 20. I'm transitioning from grade 12 to elementary so I'm about to hack everything. Starting by gathering a bunch of resources and fun things for the classroom #HackLearning
A1: New administrator to our school. Held 1-1 meetings with over 30 staff members this summer celebrating their prior year, asking what I needed to know from their perspective, and what gives them energy & what takes it away. Advice: Listen to learn then lead. #HackLearning
A1: Prepping opening PD, planning to share some Smart Starts from #eduprotocols & engagement ideas from #HackingEngagement..Want to promote the idea of teaching kids over content. Build those relationships #hacklearning
A1. Reading the supplied materials, thinking about how I can #DisruptTexts, thinking multiple modalities, considering full-class readings vs. chouce and how that moght work, mostly all in my head... #HackLearning
A1. Reading blogs, books, and listening to podcasts. Watching the #HiveSummit videos. Most importantly, soaking up every bit of the time I can with my girl. #hacklearning
A1: School is essentially here for us (kids start Wednesday) so I’ve grown 6 additional arms to achieve my goal of having the “perfect” first day. Lol 😂But seriously, I’m pulling the info from my summer training to implement a realistic plan of awesomeness #hacklearning
#hacklearning Good evening. Sarah from Adelaide, Australia, having a look in for the first time. (Just saw you introducing yourself @Lv2teachNtravel and got curious!)
A1: I am organizing a back to school game event for our K-5 students & their families. We will have fun & they will have a chance to earn some cool supplies. #HackLearning
I have been attending the Hive Summit, set up my planner, done my required district trainings so I don't have to spend my first week back with that stuff. #hacklearning
Get inspired...There is #HiveSummit on at the moment and there are some wonderful things discussed. For the first day back, you could do a sketchnote inspired by @HeckAwesome on the first day of school and how the Ss are feeling. #HackLearning
A1:preparation for back to school starts with self care. I make sure that I’ve formed/started habits that will carry me throughout the year. Taking care of myself will allow me to care of others better. And lots of reading. #hacklearning
A1: I started carrying supplies in that I bought at Target, does that count? Haha this Twitter chat and a webinar with @GingerLewman is how I'm getting #B2S ready #HackLearning
A1 I report back to school tomorrow ... meetings out the wazoo ... have a room design in my head ... will have a small army of kids helping bring it to life. #hacklearning
A1) I’ve been preparing for back-to-school by reflecting, reading, learning, connecting with others and making time to #RelaxRejuvenateRefresh. #HackLearning
We are already back since last week. I have students on Wednesday. I have been rethinking some processes and procedures. It's my second year in a new position, and I'm trying to reflect and implement changes. #hacklearning
A1b: As for what I am doing for myself...reaching out to my schools, trying to build relationships, & together imagining how we can best support teachers this year. A lot of dreaming & then scheduling logistics :-). #HackLearning
Good morning #hacklearning I'm Daniel a #cte AV production teacher in #DFW. Re-entering classroom after a few years as an #edtech specialist. Am at work now but hope to contribute/catch up as much as possible!
A1: I am preparing for back to school by spending time with family to clear my mind and focus on my personal leadership vision for the upcoming school year. #hacklearning

A1 I have been reading Hillbilly Elegy. Along with The Glass Castle, the books give insight on what students carry into the classroom from home.@hackmylearning#HackLearning
A1- I feel like I use my summer to prep for back to school by using twitter & free online webinars to gain knowledge and ideas for next school year.
#HackLearning
A1: I also take time to reflect on last year and set goals to grow as educator and leader to support student growth #hacklearninghttps://t.co/pg4ftstb0J
Having to rethink everything this year as I am moving into the Fabrication Lab ... more tech teacher than historian, but dang those kids in my history classes will have access to some great tools #hacklearning
A1- I am already back to school admin start back on August 1st. I have about a week before teachers start back. So preparing for new teacher orientation and back to school pds.
#HackLearning
A1 I have been thinking of my professional goals this year. I have been thinking about what I want to learn this year, and been thinking about my team and trying to put together some learning ideas we might want to explore together. #hacklearning
#hacklearning Good evening. Sarah from Adelaide, Australia, having a look in for the first time. (Just saw you introducing yourself @Lv2teachNtravel and got curious!)
We are prepping for Back To School by making sure that all our vacant positions are filled with the best possible candidates who will help us grow as a district! #hacklearning
A1 Among my favorite back-to-school activities: Plucking un-circulated titles from classroom library & then losing myself in book stores, both second- and first-hand, to browse new titles for shelves. #hacklearning
We are already back since last week. I have students on Wednesday. I have been rethinking some processes and procedures. It's my second year in a new position, and I'm trying to reflect and implement changes. #hacklearning
A1 I’m coordinator for a mentoring program in an elementary school. We’re going to put together a timeline of when we do what to help us be better prepared. #HackLearning
A1: I'm reviewing #TEKS for my classes and trying to translate them into concrete learning objectives for my Ss. I want our learning experiences to be as relevant and timely as possible! #hacklearning
We've just finished #AussieED chat so it's perfect timing. I can never switch off after it, always thinking of cool ideas. Why not join another chat and ensure my dreams are amazing. #HackLearning
#hacklearning Spending this week having dinner with new faculty members. Hoping to give them a familiar face + a safe place to ask questions or seek help when things get rolling. Ts and Ss are the same....without established relationships, they won't feel safe asking for help!

Thanks for helping us #HackLearning this #SundayMorning, Scott. Hope you'll be a regular eduhacker. Our Ambassador @SylviaEllison also moderates our weeklong slow chat, as we take a deeper dive into the live chat topic. Please contribute.
A2 I will make my first day "hacky" by staging a crime scene in my classroom. Kids will use all sort of problem-solving and prior learning. #HackLearning
A1: I'm reviewing #TEKS for my classes and trying to translate them into concrete learning objectives for my Ss. I want our learning experiences to be as relevant and timely as possible! #hacklearning
A1b: As for what I am doing for myself...reaching out to my schools, trying to build relationships, & together imagining how we can best support teachers this year. A lot of dreaming & then scheduling logistics :-). #HackLearning
A1: Margo - principal from Norwood MA. August is when we start to rev up our new initiatives: doing a PBIS training, start a scheduling discussion, part of a Voxer chat, and thinking about using a selection of “hack” learning books for PLC boom studies. #hacklearning
A1: I’ve dedicated last week and this week to improving the layout of my classroom for comfort & function. I want my kids to feel like they are “home.” #HackLearning
#HiveSummit has been great. You're making me think my students could also #sketchnote things like strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes, and other qualities to introduce themselves to me. #HackLearning

I absolutely loved #HackingMath by @MathDenisNJ. Desmond challenges and how he explains using math to make the learning process real was amazing. ❤️ cannot wait to share the info with my colleagues. #HackLearning
A2: Roll out the red carpet for when your teachers return and when your students return. Have your staff and families clap in teachers and students as they walk the red carpet and enter the school. #HackLearning
A2 Community emerges when people do something meaningful together—like meaningful academic learning. For Day 1, plan a lesson that uses academic learning as a context for community-building. Here’s an example of how: https://t.co/5phcSbXyVw#HackLearning
A2: This year we are streamlining the usual first day activities (student info sheet) by doing it all in HR, digitally so the info can be shared and the kids only have to do boring paperwork once. And after that it’s almost all team building (read: FUN) activities #hacklearning
I might be in the minority here, but I like to just start on the first day. There are always changes to the roster, and any syllabus stuff will have to be repeated anyways, so just START. Do some cool learning on day 1. #HackLearning
A2: found some great activities for the first day of school where students get up and move around the room using stations and arr actually DOING science. On day ONE. How it should be! #HackLearning
A2) My advice is be prepared with a good night’s sleep, pack your lunch and don’t skip eating, drink plenty of water, and lay your school clothes out the night before! #HackLearning
A couple years ago @stacysanders3 put this video together to welcome students back to school. Super fun to contribute and kids LOVED seeing their teachers whip and nae nae. #HackLearninghttps://t.co/fJn7ER7wnI
Our Beginning of School pages https://t.co/YIn8g65WsO include pages on: Icebreakers, First Days of School, Bulletin Boards, Learn Your Students' Names, Know Your Students, Seating Plan, Organizing Your Classroom et al. Hope you have an awesome year of learning #HackLearning
A2 We start on a Friday ... so my hope is that tchrs use this day to create teams in their classroom - to make the day so meaningful that ss will want to be present from Day 1 >> Day 180 #HackLearning
A2: Don't talk "school", do activities - team building - build/ strengthen culture. One I like for team building is https://t.co/F7mXU07I6S#hacklearning
A2:
⭐️Let kids introduce themselves instead of guessing how to say their names.
⭐️Start by building a strong and collaborative community before anything else.
⭐️Find a way to include a piece of everyone's passions in your classroom
#HackLearning
A2: As a new administrator I am eager to learn about as many first day hacks as I can! I know I will always rock the boombox with pump up jams at student arrival. #hacklearning
A2. First-day activities that allow Ss to safely/enjoyably interact and self-express are important for their own sake. But I also think it’s important some of these activities have well-planned whole-class culminations, e.g., discussion, decision, or other product. #HackLearning
A2: Make Day 1 memorable - something fun, get kids excited to come back. Especially in middle/high, how many classes are they sitting through where they are going over syllabi? #HackLearning
#hacklearning On the first day, assume the best: that Ss want a fresh start and want to become their best selves. I ask them what Qs are on their mind rather than downloading rules, procedures unilaterally. Let them guide the conversation with what is important to them!
Oh wow! Yes that would be an incredible way to start the year. I'm halfway through my but may steal your idea. Those topics are not always voiced. #HackLearning

@Jim_dEntremont, @hackmylearning, @HeckAwesome
Last year the Saranac Jr/Sr High teachers didn't pass out a single syllabus on the first day of school. The entire day was filled with team building to launch our Positive School Climate effort. #HackLearning
A2: I love @jamessturtevant's Hack: Challenge Kids to Improv your Classroom Procedures.
Awesome way to involve them immediately, giving students some ownership in your classroom.
https://t.co/VDky4keMq1#HackLearning
A2:
⭐️Let kids introduce themselves instead of guessing how to say their names.

#HackLearning
…The implicit lesson: self-expression is one way we will value diversity in our room, and doing so will bring us together to provide collective identity, belonging, safety, and -- crucial for some -- hope. #HackLearning
Our 2018 Teachers’ Choices reading list showcases a total of 30 books for primary, intermediate, and advanced readers. What other titles would you recommend to educators as exceptional additions to use as part of a curriculum? https://t.co/UCnZyf0EdU#ILAChoices
A2 make it about the kids. Learn their names, find out what makes them tick: Music, sports, likes, food. Celebrate coming back to school and avoid the "RULES" #hacklearning
Thanks...That's an opening piece. We're going to build pieces for the specific strategies shared in #BoldSchool but we're still in production. #HackLearning
A2: I have been reading about the importance of letters in the classroom, I am planning with my Strats kids to start letters on the first day. #hacklearning
Love it! That could totally be a “hacky” for day one of the new school year... start the year with an EdCamp style day of professional learning! That will set the tone that learning is a priority! No one wants to hear speeches on day one! #HackLearning
Speaking of reading... Check out red carpet this principal has rolled out in recent years, putting money where a priority is. Via Nerdy Book Club blog: https://t.co/hg94Ao0UBe#hacklearning
A2: give the kids challenges. Something that lets them express who they are and gives you a chance to get to know them better. Find their interests and then you can save those to make their learning real when you begin content. #hacklearning
A2: Pull out last years yearbook & do a quick refresher of names/faces. No doubt the faces will have changed a little, but the process is fun & gets those names off the tip of your tongue the first morning of carpool. No better feeling for S to be recognized #HackLearning
For years, I broke both of these rules. When I stopped, it was a game-changer. Get kids excited on the first day of school... no reason to make it a day filled with dread. #HackLearning
A2: My last year in the classroom, I dressed up as Princess Leia to intro our "Jedi Strings Academy" & had students do a #breakoutedu game to start the year. #hacklearning#games4ed#xplap
A2:
⭐️Let kids introduce themselves instead of guessing how to say their names.
⭐️Start by building a strong and collaborative community before anything else.
⭐️Find a way to include a piece of everyone's passions in your classroom
#HackLearning
A2: Have Ss share a favorite picture from summer. In minutes create a summer moments video for everyone to view. Helps start conversations, build community, share passions. #HackLearning
Those of you here for #HackLearning I highly recommend the #HiveSummit if you haven't already signed up. There are some amazing educators and the best part is, it's all FREE and you can watch the videos in your PJs in the comfort of your own home!
💜💜💜 the first one ... such a simple shift YET so profound ... thanks for sharing! Hope you will share more ideas like these during our #HackLearning slow chat this week!! 🤩
A2:
⭐️Let kids introduce themselves instead of guessing how to say their names.

#HackLearning
Awesome, Lena. Thanks for sharing! And you know what's a sweet hack for curating classroom libraries: Periodically asking students, "What's not yet in our collection, but should be?" #hacklearning
Not specifically, it specifically outlines ways to update pedagogical strategies with engaging and efficient technologies, but I like where your heads at! #hacklearning
Was just thinking about this the other day but trying to figure out if there's a way to do it on Google classroom as their first assignment, then I can rewatch them and learn names with faces. #hacklearning
A2: after reading @CarlaShalaby Troublemakers and discussing it on #cleartheair I am keeping my eye out for the fearless and outstanding kids who aren’t going to be easy to teach conformity #HackLearning
Speaking of reading... Check out red carpet this principal has rolled out in recent years, putting money where a priority is. Via Nerdy Book Club blog: https://t.co/hg94Ao0UBe#hacklearning
A2: We all work on learning names together. 1st challenge (in the class game) or earn a small prize if you can name everybody. Starting small - everyone at your table, etc - but progressing to the whole class. #HackLearning
A2: We are focusing on culture building. We have a lot of new teachers and students in the middle school. We want to ensure we have built our community. My hack is my Ts are being welcomed in the same way I want them to welcome in our Ss! #hacklearning
A2: we will be working on the classroom together. It’s their space so they should have a say. Also, putting all of their names & faces together as I really only know a few from last yrs 1st grade #HackLearning
Yes! What we think they should like is not always what they do like! Choice is really key in supporting a joy of reading in our Ss. #HackLearning@ILAToday
A2. Learn names. Used to play "link up" (1 person comes up and shares something about his/herself, then 1-by-1 each student joins the link by first introducing the person before them and connecting what he/she liked to what they like. By the end, all names are known #hacklearning
Start with job 1 relationship Building - connect with kids by sharing a personal story that will get their attention .. funny, makes you vulnerable but has a real point they will get - adolescents to teens #HackLearning
Forget rules like not smiling til a holiday, going over rules, homework expectations, instead tell kids your hopes & dreams. get them to share theirs; bring in personal artifact (not a snake - that’s another story) & get the kids involved in the story it might tell #HackLearning
I am at a PreK-8 school some of the kids I have, this will be their 9th year at the school ... I try to find those kids who are new to the school and make sure they have a "buddy" to help them acclimate. #hacklearning
Also like this idea from my brother: Uncommon Commonalities. Have students in groups of 4(ish) & find something they all have in common that they don't think anyone else int he room does. Fun way to get to know each other! #HackLearning
Last year the Saranac Jr/Sr High teachers didn't pass out a single syllabus on the first day of school. The entire day was filled with team building to launch our Positive School Climate effort. #HackLearning

It makes me think of #PD on their time and a place to store articles and tweets that would push Ts to reach for the stars... please share with us how the website progresses! #Hacklearning
I love this! It’s my go-to first day activity. Kids like learning about each other... and so do I (plus, it really DOES help with learning all those new names!). #HackLearning
Student: “Hi, I’m ___.”
Everyone Else: “Hi, ___!”
Repeat for each student.
Helps them learn each other‘s names and how to pronounce them. Helps you learn names too. Gets 100% of voices in the room in the first 2 minutes.
#HackLearning
A3: I'm in a new school this year, so I plan on doing everything I wanted to do before but couldn't do without everyone raising their eyebrows or grimacing. #HackLearning
A2 A cool tool you could use to discuss their holidays or get to know more about your students is to use https://t.co/FzM2r61lIU which literally comes up like a phone. Students could pretend to ask questions and type answers to share more about themselves. #HackLearning
A2: I see the word "rules" I try to not use that because then if someone doesn't do it they "break the rules" I like to talk expectations and set the expectations for the class, school, communications, effort #hacklearning
.@Kuglmee just perfect - engage them in making it their room not yours - think of yourself as a part of their family and a guest in their home :) #hacklearning
A2: we will be working on the classroom together. It’s their space so they should have a say. Also, putting all of their names & faces together as I really only know a few from last yrs 1st grade #HackLearning
A3- Creating personalized PD for staff. Where twice a month they get to choose between sessions but must attend 2 different ones. They will be given 7 or more options.
#HackLearning
Forget rules like not smiling til a holiday, going over rules, homework expectations, instead tell kids your hopes & dreams. get them to share theirs; bring in personal artifact (not a snake - that’s another story) & get the kids involved in the story it might tell #HackLearning
A3: We plan to use @mcleod 4 Shifts Protocol as an entry into supporting teacher conversations and analysis of lessons to being making shifts toward deeper learning and transforming student task. https://t.co/FkktYCGiTu#HackLearning
I bet your're *not* in the minority here, Shelly. Here's blog I came across recently by @cherandpete that echoes you're set-the-tone-by-diving-in thinking: https://t.co/P60NS6uEBr#hacklearning
A3: by collaborating with the staff in our district to brainstorm ideas to push learning further and implement instructional technology . #HackLearning
A3: -Less teacher talk. -More student lead learning even when it’s loud and chaotic. -More flexible methods of showing mastery. -building a stronger community across the school. #hacklearning
Safe challenge is an important way to collect and motivate all Ss. I tell classes on the first day that "we'll start slow, and ramp it up." My plan each year is that by January, all Ss will be working harder than they've ever worked before. But we build up to it. #HackLearning
I bet your're *not* in the minority here, Shelly. Here's blog I came across recently by @cherandpete that echoes your set-the-tone-by-diving-in thinking: https://t.co/DualFAOIxP… #hacklearning
A3: Not sure it's hacky, but my goal is to be bold in spending time IN classrooms. With 13 schools to support, I know I will take awhile to get to know everyone, but I don't want to be afraid to ask or just stop by. #HackLearning
A2:
⭐️Let kids introduce themselves instead of guessing how to say their names.
⭐️Start by building a strong and collaborative community before anything else.
⭐️Find a way to include a piece of everyone's passions in your classroom
#HackLearning
A2 I’m finding out that what I think would be fun might not be for students. Times have changed and so have kids. I’d ask them this year for ideas for next year. #HackLearning
I had one themed around missing cholcolate. The Ss had a great time solving the mystery. Lots of candy kisses helped make it a sweet project too! #HackLearning
A3: Proper planning, responsive teaching by getting student feedback, using tech only to deepen learning but not as a distraction. Use parents as allies in the learning process. Collaborate with colleagues. #hacklearning
Tweet to @SaranacLeADer to get more details of all the activities he and his team had planned for a day of fun. Kids were told to wear comfy clothes on day one - no textbooks, no homework! #HackLearning
A3 - Assess more as a means of highlighting knowledge acquired...or holes in learning. Seeing assessment more as a tool to be used than a quiz/test. #HackLearning
A3: transitioning to digital interactive notebooks this year instead of paper ones. Nervous but excited! Between that and year 2 of #pbl it will be a great year 😊 #HackLearning
A2. Used to give each student a "party favor sized" playdough container to create something that represents him/herself. Share in small groups or whip around. Very cool to see what they come up with. Take loads of pics. This is fun and funny #hacklearning
A2. We’re turning the first week of teacher PD into an interactive game of small team vs team competition! #QRBreakIN is like an escape room in reverse! Eight centers teach the usual back to school info without lecture, using super hacky new approaches to learning! #hacklearning
A3: I want to do everything I can to help teachers and school leaders build #CompassionateClassrooms this year. We must teach empathy, tolerance, and compassion, as if these were part of the curriculum. There's nothing more important.
https://t.co/6bfIp8vbxU#HackLearning
A3 everything starts with purposeful planning - classroom mgmt, team building, instruction, discussion, learning ... it all begins with a plan (that is strong enough to recognize the teachable moments & opportunities to adjust as learning happens through the year) #HackLearning
#hacklearning This year I'll share a doc I built last year after visiting 40 classrooms titled "what's great about this class!" Building positive views between the faculty to make them more open to collaboration and internal PD can only benefit Ss! Ts need + feedback, too!
A3 Work with Ss to develop a personal goal plan not only for graduation but to develop themselves personally too - active in their communities. #HackLearning
Being hacky is about looking at learning through the lens of your students and doing what it takes to make learning an enjoyable experience for them. #hacklearning
Speaking of which, if any of you #hacklearning friends have a minute to help me figure out how to hack my new role, I'd love it if you could quickly give some feedback: https://t.co/pLQjTRMwHk
Dramatic surveillance video shows Florida police rushing to aid a baby choking on a chicken nugget. The heroic officers were honored for their quick action, saving the baby's life. https://t.co/p2EAXiZsFK
.@SylviaEllison we make rules and contracts to enforce what needs to happen in the absence of caring relationships grounded in ethics - focus on the relationship building and the rules will not be the dominant reason people do the right thing - adults or children #hacklearning
A3: Utilizing tech to get Ss involved with their learning and the school: using Twitter for announcements and information then hopefully move to school Twitter chats. As well, recognize Ts and Ss for making progress to their goals and hard work taking place. #hacklearning
Ooo, so excited about this week’s #HackLearning slow chat ... let’s continue the conversation as we Learn, Reflect, Apply, & Grow together!!! Q1 Monday at 7:30 AM EST Q2 Thursday at 7:30 AM EST - answers all week long 💕
A3. This schooldoes CBE so I have to learn how they do that in practice and figure out how hacky it really is. The aforementioned choice reading. The aforementioned #DisruptTexts. #HackLearning
A3: more about digital citizenship and creating with those devices rather than just required testing, flex seating (cross your fingers), better planning & leaving work at work #HackLearning
A2. Made this game for my 11th grade literature students to intro class procedures and welcome them to the world of the great American @DreamRushEDU. No more death by syllabus! 🤓 Please feel free to steal it as your own!!! https://t.co/fNci7xbwnM#hacklearning
A3. Want to be Hacking Instructional Coaching this year by sending thank you notes for observations, co-teaching in chunks with real-time debriefs, getting students involved in what to look for when I model something and asking for feedback #HackLearning
A3 with my learning team I plan to start every meeting with a relationship builder, could be as simple as how is your day going. My team is also going to work closer with the school librarians and learn all we can from them #hacklearning
.@SylviaEllison we make rules and contracts to enforce what needs to happen in the absence of caring relationships grounded in ethics - focus on the relationship building and the rules will not be the dominant reason people do the right thing - adults or children #hacklearning
What’s your gut say from what you already know about younger children - I love @andreabeaty books because they connect with diversity, making, fun, friends - I’ve read them up thru 4th grade and kids like them #hacklearning
Join #HackLearning chat August 12 at 8:30-9:00am EDT when Dr. Randall Sampson @RandallSampson will be guest moderator leading chat on the "hacky" topic of Depth vs. Breadth Learning
Being natural and happy. Rest will take its course and uplift the performance & confidence needed either on the first or last day of the school.. #HackLearning
Thanks #HackLearning ... I love that it is a 30 minute chat! I may be able to do this...although it is now 11pm! Late for a school night but oh so worth it. Thanks everyone!
