A1: @kmwilliams35 is literally bringing a case of snacks for one of our Ss who we know doesn't have much love / support at home. He couldn't believe that she actually buys her kids things they ask for. Broke our hearts. #fearlessedchat
A1: Time. All it takes most days is just a few moments to stop and listen. To sit with someone and hear what they are saying. Take a break and have lunch with them. This might be the only positive interaction they get each day. #fearlessedchat
A1: My wife and I do Operation Christmas Child to help give Christmas to children in countries all of the world. Locally, our school regularly participates in activities like food drives, chemo bags, and more to help those who lack. #fearlessedchat
A1 I made it a point to have a conversation,no matter how small, with each of my students at some point during the day.Just knowing someone acknowledges you can go a far way. #FearlessEdChat
A1.2: Never thought that I would say that I look forward to hallway duty, BUT that is one of the highlights of my day! I am right by a security camera, so I am always dancing or having fun with the kids. The show...always goes on. #fearlessedchat
I love spending transition time in the hallways talking with students. Such a small, but incredibly vital time to show students that you care WAY more about them than the grade in the grade book. #fearlessedchat

A2: Collaborate - not just w/ grade level & dept. Cross the boundaries. Don't be afraid to share successes - and limit the "airing of grievances!" Venting is good, but put a time limit on your complaints. Get it out, and move on. #fearlessedchat
A2: I share project ideas with other teachers. I ask other teachers for ideas to help me better design my lessons. Sharing is caring, so I figure that if I share things and ask for advice/ideas from other teachers I show that I care a lot! #fearlessedchat
A2 my colleagues are always willing to share and i'm always down to share what I have/know. We are our own best resources #BetterTogether#fearlessedchat
A2: Pushing being present on Twitter to those I come into contact with. @kmwilliams35, among others, tease me about how much time per day that I spend tweeting. So much good that NEEDS TO BE shared. If we are not telling that story, who will? #fearlessedchat
One of the people I share with frequently teaches Math, and I teach History! Sharing with @ToddRisser has helped me grow and I think it shows how committed we are to being the best teachers we can be! #fearlessedchat

Hi Ryan, Susan from Oak Lawn. I try to connect teachers. Hey you should see Mr. x, he does this thing I think your kids would love! And then go with them #fearlessedchat
A2 Our school has Worthwhile Wednesdays We all take turns sharing great things we do in the classroom. Tonight I shared @XtraMath_US and @numbertalks#fearlessedchat
A3: I became a history teacher because I believe that there are voices in the past that are only heard during my class. I get so excited because I get to share the stories that shaped the world we live in today! #fearlessedchat Semi-related note, anyone else LOVE pumpkin pie?
A3: I always tell Ss why I'm excited to teach a certain concept. Relate it to real world scenarios.. how I (as not just a teacher) use them in my real life. #fearlessedchat
A4: Keep things exciting every single day. Don't let yourself check out, because they will pick up on that energy. No phoning in lessons! #fearlessedchat
Aside from twitter, I even love to take pictures and send them to our media specialist @DeemAlysia to upload these victories to our school social media so the world can see how brilliant my Ss are! #fearlessedchat

A4: Never hurts to make their learning real & different this time of year. Tech can be the catalyst when done right. We use #googleexpeditions to bring student virtually around the world to connect their learning #fearlessedchat
A3: Getting to see the Ss reactions to what they are working with. @SmartLab_tweets has created a unique environment or "greenhouse" to grow student confidence, forge collaboration and communication between unlikely participants. Hard not to be pumped about this. #fearlessedchat
A4: This year as we wrap up the Progress Era, I am using "Progressive Era Football" that has lots of assignments to choose each worth a different amount of "yards". After getting a touchback students must drive 75 yards through their assignments! #fearlessedchat
Hey Dottie! Welcome to #fearlessedchat! Ummmm, to say thanks for joining us, I might be stealing your "Worthwhile Wednesdays" idea. :) @Flood1Tracy, write this one down.

I thought about using a Christmas gif (love Thanksgiving but LOVE Christmas), but didn't want to open up that can of worms in #fearlessedchat#ICanWaitUntilNextFriday
I am so thankful for the #fearlessedchat family and all of your support! Sorry for the in-and-out of tonight! But we will be back in full swing AFTER thanksgiving! Celebrate and be with your family! #blessed#pln
Now dont forget about #scitlap !!!
A4: Find the positive in all that you are doing. It's contagious, much like the germs flowing around school during this time of year. Upsell everything. If we are not having fun, how can we expect the kids to be? #fearlessedchat
