Hard to pick one—I love google docs comment feature for digital conferencing on writing. I’ve also seen teachers use Kahoot an Plickers to gather formative data and to get kids excited about what they know. #bfc530

Google Docs is the absolute best for teaching writing. Students have access to their work from school and home, and the teacher can view and provide feedback at any point. It's a window into the student's writing process that just isn't possible on paper. #bfc530
When I was in the classroom, I was all about the G Suite. Google docs, forms and sheets were a life line as well as Voxer, Twitter, iMovie or Screencast o matic - we also loved @StoryboardThat#BFC530

My go to tech tool is @MicrosoftTeams. I can use my favorite tech tools within Teams making it easier for my Ss to login without multiple passwords. I use it for organization, communication, and collaboration. #BFC530

Going to the gym before work has been a game changer for me. I use an online trainer and he says 3 or 4 days a week. You can do more, but don’t have to.. that has been a different way of thinking for me. #bfc530
One more that I use daily is @Screencastify. I use it AFTER class each day to create a video of ‘what we did today’ to post to our @YouTube channel (whoa! There’s another 😂😂), also to create ‘how-to’ videos for parents #bfc530
Our school is participating in #ScienceWeek2018 this week. I’m facilitating a weeklong ecosystems study on invasive species. Happy to have video links this week. #bfc530
I also like to give open ended choices. Do this with tech options or with pencil, scissors, paper. Ss come up with amazing tech solutions that I may not know about. #bfc530
It still makes me laugh when students ask me for the definition of a word with a Chromebook in front of them and a phone in their pocket or bag. #bfc530
I am most successful in fitness when I am working out with a group. I’m not much of a “joiner,” but for me, it has helped. Now if only I could free up my schedule to get to class regularly! #bfc530
What about jogging? I like to get outside in nature. So I use the couch to 5k #C25K app that tells me when to walk or run (like a teacher). Just finished the 5k plan for the first time in my life!

Good morning! My go-to tech tool for Ss is pretty basic: the Chromebook/Google Ed apps, relatively inexpensive (comparatively) and versatile. It can be used on whatever devices are available to students at school and home. #BFC530

My go to tech tool this year has been @Schoology. I'm not the most organized with it, but as far as getting materials to the students and going paperless in class, its great. #bfc530
If excercise doesn't involve spending time with my family, I can't do it. I spend a lot of time in my day at a distance from my kids. Can't waste any time out of the house. One day they won't be in it. I'll get in better shape then LOL #bfc530
Google Keep is a great tool for Ss (and Ts ) who like to keep lists plus you can collaborate to get the work done. It’s also nice to cross things off! #bfc530
And I think that’s ok...and honest...which is better than ok it’s fantastic! Until the school year is through you haven’t seen/done it all. It’s not like other jobs. But like teaching, gains rarely immediate. Slow and steady, know your #bfc530 family is proud!
I'm not sure if students should have a go-to tech tool. I think they should use--or not--whatever's appropriate for the learning target. In fact, if they're using the same tool every day, it's time to mix it up. There's not one tool that enhances learning for all needs. #bfc530
FCPS was all Microsoft for years and still installs on all their computers. We got Google accounts ten years ago and no one knew what to do with them at first. But Google's ability to share, collaborate, and access from anywhere makes MS look like a stone tablet. #bfc530

Absolutely agree. Those years are so short, we have to take advantage of every minute. When my kids were in 11th and 12th grades they ran and then trained me so that I could run with them. I was a complete couch potato and they changed my life! #bfc530

I love @khanacademy for helping develop fluency in math. If Ss misunderstand problems, they can use hints or videos to reteach methods. I use @YouTube for my in-class videos if Ss need a re-teaching moment outside of class. @teamdoceri helps me create videos while I teach #bfc530
