A2: This is a good question... In my district it seems it would make sense to incorporate these standards into teacher's IPDPs - w/o making it seem like another "thing?" #ETCoaches

All of us are learners... even at the most basic of levels. Collaboration is when you really start to see the integration/application/connection... especially w/ a coach :) #ETCoaches
A3: Ts in my district are pretty innovative/savvy w tech, but I would focus on 4: Collaborator. Ts tend to stay within their four walls... want to get more sharing going across all of our elems so we can learn from each other- benefits Ss more! #ETCoaches

A4: Provide Ts examples (or better yet... connect) of others who have used the standards successfully? Model the standards in their classrooms. #ETCoaches
#ETCoaches A4 - Lead by example, show them in use in the PD. Also find teachers willing to share with others how they did it. Another option, PD mentoring or partnering to help as they begin.
A5: With state content standards being the focus it's hard to add another thing to Ts plates. The standards need to be *integrated* - and aligned with the content standards. #ETCoaches
A5: Ts have other standards to follow depending on their district eval system (we use @thecdanielson framework + have our own district framework). Ts may also be unfamiliar w the ISTE standards. #ETCoaches
A5 #ETCoaches One of our main challenges is time, making sure Ts have time during professional learning to get a decent start. I also agree with the content standards being the focus.
A6: I seem to say this same same answer on about every chat... but the #ETCoaches network is my lifeline. I can't imagine doing this job w/o the support/resources I get from this network.
