I'll be in & out a little tonight. ELA teacher, 8th grade, Nebraska.
A1 I was that smart girl who hung out w/ the fun kids, just loved soaking it all in & being where the action was.Still do!
A1: I was too afraid to be different. Now I'd tell myself to own all that quirk!
a1) I was awkward, skinny, and shy....it's now who you were that matters. It's who you are that helps determine who you'll be
A1: Athletic, perfection-striving, school-loving. Advice? Relax!!! Focus less on the outcome and more on the process.
A1 super shy, nerdy, awkward. So unsure of myself. I would tell 7th gr Kalei not to worry. It gets better.
A1: I was lost-& angry. I would tell that girl to own her story&that her parents actions don't define her- & that she will be Ok
