No need to apologize for repeating one of the most important things we do...listen! It is a universal answer to showing compassion! #MEMSPAchat#Path2Serendipity
A6: Always presume positive intent. Always. And then listen fully to truly understand, pause, paraphrase, pose questions, then problem solve. #memspachat
Q7: When you were given feedback that was tough to hear, how did you show compassion to the person giving you the tough feedback? #MEMSPAchat#Path2Serendipity
A6: Building a strong relationship before the difficult conversation helped. Afterwards, it was about moving forward and not reflecting on the past. #MEMSPAchat
It is key to remember that feedback is a two-way street. If it is only one person engaging in the conversation that is a directive. We grow when we can have conversations with one another. In addition to that, we must make sure we plan next steps. #MEMSPAchat

Q7: When you were given feedback that was tough to hear, how did you show compassion to the person giving you the tough feedback? #MEMSPAchat#Path2Serendipity

#MEMSPAchat
