Only 15 minutes until we start - Discussing classroom management in the 21st Century classroom
Love the idea of finding positive examples for Ss
A3: I should start showing more positive examples of DC. I tend to just show "how not to" examples in class. Will work on that!
I ask students to be sure to address emails properly--small but simple place to start
A3: Twist on "google yourself" is "What can you find out about your classmate online?" Opportunity to demonstrate DigCit skills.
Use this activity as a launching point 4 Ss to discuss whether the story they find is positive, negative, or neutral
Yes! If we keep focusing on the sensationalistic negative stories, kids will tune out and disengage :( https://t.co/zbgNmuhI0E

You pointed out how deep it was... :-)

A5: Get them to come to a parent event so you can allay their fears and walk them through resources
