A4: Serious question. Is there any media source out there that puts #oklaed in a positive light? I hear tons of negative stories about teachers in trouble, law breaking, etc and not much positive stuff reported at all. #oklaed
A4. I also love to read the comment sections on ANY of the news channels feeds/posts, the @TheLostOgle, and other. The comments = Where the real stories are told! #realtalk#oklaed

A5 -- indirectly about students: teachers from all over the state met Saturday all day...NBCT trainers and candidates spent the day digging into the work of becoming the best teachers we can to impact students. #oklaed#NBCTStrong.
I think the best story is when Del City stuco went to state and ran for President. As a stuco we all came together and supported @brelandgetslit and made a difference in the OASC by having the goal to spread diversity #oklaed

A5- Didn't want to teach until my 1st job in corp America - went back to school, in my 7th year, can't imagine anything else. My call in life is to advocate for people w/no voice. My students are amazing. My life has purpose - will stay in OK & fight for more for our kids #oklaed
A5: Ran into young (because I'm old) Airmen standing post in Afghanistan taking care of the people and aircraft. Asked his story and he was from a metro school who barely graduated HS. He said we wouldn't have made it without a TEACHER believing in him! #oklaed
A5) Watching teachers get to know each studentās story and work to realize how they can affect positive change into that timeline. Students are more than their āDataā! #OklaEd
A5)I was able to help a S make it to graduation. He was ready to drop out and help his family. I allowed him to use the computers to complete his other work and get a grade in my class. The S was the first in his family to graduate and go to college. #oklaed

A5-We have a student leadership program called W.E.B., where our upperclassmen develop strong relationships and supports for our incoming class.#oklaed

A5) I'm the proud advisor of our school's NHS chapter. This year, we raised over $9000 in one week to purchase gifts for almost 150 children on the local angel tree! #OklaEd

A5 this month after the arduous process of taking our 2nd round of benchmarks I sat down w/ a student to compare her scores. She worked really hard and improved so much. "These questions were hard but I was able to answer them because of what you taught us this semester!" #oklaed
The customized workshops, PD, follow up Pdās and all of the support for strategic planning that @OKCPSGEARUP and @k20center have been unmatched!I have used all of those skills in smaller settings in the schools I have supported in @OKCPS#Sustainability#oklaed#BMEsTalk
I was so proud of them! Almost all beginning programmers, and you should have seen how hard they were working in the back! Their parents were so impressed with the whole thing! #OklaEd
The best story is when a group of students got hit with a situation that could force a lot to back down. But we didnāt. We supported our teacher and came together to take stress off of her in what I know is a hard situation for her #OklaEd
