It is a really relaxing activity. Some wouldn't agree - they just haven't found the right book yet!
-
A3 When I read something so perfect that I have to read it over and over and my heart flips or sinks each time!
-
A3 escaping into a good book is like taking a mini vacation.
-
I might just stop with, "magic." Period.
-
Reading is about making connections & not only to characters but other people discussing literature. https://t.co/n8A6QaWCcA
-
Love going back and rereading. Love finding some new detail each time.
-
-
This why I feel we need more diverse books available to our kids.
-
A3 Favorite part of reading? Windows, mirrors, and doors. Powerful when we see ourselves reflected & understand new worlds.
-
-
A3: Thng I like most abt reading is when authors puts into words an emotion/experience I didn't know how to articulate before

I love when that happens!

โ
I would intentionally pick novels like The Outsiders or Finding Spirit ๐ป To help Sa see themselves & ways to succeed.
-
Yes! Re-reading Louise Penny's books right now (in addition to other volumes).
-
A4 I think i might be able to come up with 100 but I think it would take some reflection.
-
You sometimes see how pieces fit together & meaningful things you missed 1st time around
-
I agree. I love reading but don't often reflect on myself as a "reader"
-
A4 As a reader or as a person? Don't think I can separate them.
-
A2: My friend visited & posted a/b the new . Reading is a gift denied to my ancestors for so long. I read b/c I can now.
-
A4 Eventually, yes, I could list 100 things about myself as a reader. Titles I read count, right? :)
-
A4 Oh my, yes! I could go on and on and on about my reading life!
-
If titles count, I could totally do it!
-
-
Well, reading has increased my vocabulary, so probably yes! Each book adds something as well. https://t.co/9KdNctmd1X
-
Thinking more about ahbits, likes/dislikes, routines...
-
-
-
-
A4.2 It would be a fun assignment for Ss or a whole class! ๐ฏ
-
-
I love the escape, falling into another world and seeing things through the characters eyes
-
A4 I think once I got started I could come up with close to 100.
-
-
Reading really is an essential part of me. Worst punishment = not being able to read.
-
Then you will love the challenge!
-
I'm currently reading Only Rule Is It Has To Work because I like intersection of sports/science/psychology. 99 more to go.
-
-
I'd say yes. My reader self is a pretty big part of who I am. Going to have to give this a try... https://t.co/Yjb2Of2jeC
-
love this piece written by my son about the type of reader he is! I never would've been as articulate atโฆ https://t.co/wzbhA5JQVh
